Item Name: Bomb

In Haunted Castle, Simon's second non-Castlevania-titled game, he can utilize a rather unique set of sub-weapons. The game's most reoccurring sub-weapon, the bomb, is similar to holy water in how it's used: A single bomb is arced to the ground, whence it explodes on contact; the blast is more powerful than a whip-stroke, but it's engulfing effect, in comparison to holy water is limited, since it's more a blunt-force attack.

Item Name: Torch

Also in that "holy water" class is the torch. This fiery sub-weapon, similarly, is tossed to the ground in an arc. When it hits its mark, the torch's flames spread in either direction and over a fair distance. Any enemy that haplessly walks into its fiery net will be damaged repeatedly until the flames dissipate or until it's destroyed.

Item Name: Cross

We've covered a few different "cross" sub-weapons, but there's still one that's rather distinct: Newlywed Simon's pocket cross. When activated, it projects multiple images of itself over a short range; each cross strikes a single blow, and if an enemy becomes caught in the storm, it'll be damaged repeatedly. The cross is best used for dealing the arcade-tough bosses quick deaths. The Revisited version of this weapon is a screen-nuke that damages strong enemies and kills weak ones.
