The
Max Slimer, quite simply, is the largest slime formation in Castlevania history--think
of the movie The Blob. Its obvious battle plan is to use its size to
overwhelm you. The only question is if you can destroy it before it has that
chance. The Max Slimer moves by sloshing along the ground, so it's very slow,
and it breaks down as you attack it. As it breaks down, its lost matter becomes
a smattering of smaller slimes that are just as dangerous as the big one;
it's important not to let them pile up. At any time, the Slimer can lob itself
upward and latch onto the ceiling, where it becomes a more difficult target;
it also becomes a threat to drop on your head. Eventually, your repeated attack
will cause it to wither down to nothing.
