Fierce Collectors

You may prove to be a better than many of the so-called "Castlevania Masters" out there when it comes to desire to beat their in-game achievements, but can you beat their greed and their never-quenched thirst for knowledge? A true obsessive-compulsive Castlevanianiac goes out of his or her way to obtain as much of the series' wares--games, music CDs, paraphernalia and other relics--as possible. Are you one of the great collectors? Here's where you can show your impressive displays and match them against others' collections. Collectors will be listed in order of item-total. (Note: While I do show unofficial items, they won't count toward the final total, excluding magazine coverage.)

Collectors' Graveyard

This mournful category is constructed in honor of those fallen. It's here where we remember the collections of those whose memorabilia was lost or stolen, those who have forfeited their right to be displayed, and those who decided to give up on their hobby--to give away their treasures and move on to other things. Let us all gather in memory of the series' most devout followers.

Obituary
On February 16th, 2008, fabled collector Protogem shocked the community at large by posting on the Video Game Museum's message board this passage: "I'm selling off my collection. It's time to move on in life!" This long-standing community head, who through his exploits made many a contribution to the websites of which it consists, tore up the charts by painstakingly reeling in a record number of series-related items, which can now be viewed as through a snapshot in time. It's with great sadness that we bid farewell to no doubt the fiercest of collectors, for many other of life's great journeys await.
