It's May 1st and the setting's set for outside Dracula's castle. With white iron fences and rotten and moldy statues giving the place it's own festive look. The celebration is in the courtyard of the first stage of the original Castlevania from 1987. Tonight we celebrate the 20th birthday of Castlevania and it's birth here in America.

Me : Hello everyone. My name's Justin and I'm a special guest attending a night like no other. On May 1st, this day and night is the celebration of the birth of Castlevania. I see many of the characters that have been around for a long while. Why, walking through the gate now I see 3 out of the 4 characters from Dracula's Curse. It's Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades, and Grant Danasty. I make my way over to them for an interview.

Me : Hello there Trevor, Sypha, and Grant. It's wonderful to see you all on a night like this. A very special night I must say

Trevor : Well it's great to be here

Sypha : Same thing my husband said

Grant : I'm happy to be here

Me : Now Trevor and Sypha. You've been married for a long while as husband and wife. How's the marriage going

Sypha : Oh it's great. Couldn't be better

Trevor : Exactly what she said

Me : Now Grant. After restoring peace to Transylvania you helped rebuild the town. How long did that take and how long did it take for you to move on with your life

Grant : Rebuilding the town was long. But I think rebuilding my life was a lot tougher. But I'm doing alright, can't complain

Me : Well, I'll let you 3 go. There's many more I must see and greet

Trevor : Farewell for now

Suddenly a guest enters through the gate and it's none other than Alucard. Dracula's son.

Me : Hello and good evening Alucard

Alucard : Good evening

Me : How are you doing these days ?

Alucard : I'm alright, can't complain too much it seems these days

Me : Now in America, you're one of the most popular and well known Castlevania characters. How does that make you feel ?

Alucard : It's a double edged sword. I'm so well known by so many but some other heroes deserve as much credit for helping this franchise become what it is today

Me : I couldn't agree more

Alucard : Alright, I must be off. I shall see you later

Me : Farewell

Many more guests have since arrived since I was talking to Alucard. Turns out we've got the food and drink for this special night. As well as a huge cake celebrating the 20th birthday of Castlevania. Soon I make my way over to a table where sitting presently are Richter Belmont and the Renard sisters, Annette and Maria.

Me : Good evening. Congratulations on the birthday of Castlevania and for being around as long as you all have been

Richter : Good Evening

Annette : Thank You

Me : I must say this before I continue here. Annette and Maria. You women are very beautiful I must say.

Maria ( blushes ) : Thanks for the compliment

Me : You're welcome, now it's the 20th birthday of Castlevania. Anything special you 3 got planned?

Richter : Not really just going to take it easy

Annette : Absolutely

Maria : Same with the two of them

Me : Well then, I must be off. Enjoy your night

Maria : Thank you

With everyone digging into their food. I notice the last guest to arrive. Simon Belmont.

Me : Hello Simon. It's hard to believe it's been 20 years since you started your war against Dracula on Castlevania. May 1st to be precisely. Hard to believe how fast it's all gone by since then. I mean 2 decades

Simon : Yes it is. Very hard to believe

Me : You might be the most well known and celebrated of them all tonight

Simon : I may and I may not be. But whatever the outcome is. I just hope to celebrate this special occasion of 20 years

Me : I certainly hope you do as well. Farewell

Simon and I part ways. Soon we all dug into food and drink. After that it was time for cake. The cake was wheeled out on a cart by a couple skeletons. Simon Belmont took the liberty of lighting the candles. A nice honor for him. Being that he was the one that started off Castlevania and for many others that followed. Soon the cake was lit and all the heroes/heroines all joined hands and sang " Happy 20th Birthday to Castlevania ". Soon the candles were blown out and slices went around to everyone. I then spotted Jonathan Morris and Charlotte Aulin at a table and headed over.

Me : Good evening Jonathan and Charlotte

Jonathan : Good evening

Charlotte : Hello there

Me : You're the newest heroes to the world of Castlevania. It's a special night. Seeing the series age 20 years old in America. How does that make you both feel?

Jonathan: Well, it's hard to believe this series has lasted this long

Me : Tell me about it

Charlotte : But we look forward to the series to continue to keep going

Me : Nicely put Charlotte

I noticed they were eating cake and wanted to get back to it. As many of the stars from Castlevania were eating cake and wanted to enjoy the time to themselves.

Me : Well folks. That's how the 20th birthday celebrating the birth of Castlevania turned out

In the distance besides Dracula's Castle fireworks shot off.
