Mega Man 7

There are 8 robot bosses in this game, but they're split into two groups, with a stage in between. Enemies such as Bass, who act as bosses on certain stages, won't be covered here, as they're more important to the story (check the "Main Characters" page).

Freeze Man

DL #049: Freeze Man is like a combination of Quick Man and Metal Man. He likes to let Mega Man dictate the fight. He'll continuously make icicles fall from the ceiling, all the while running back and forth. The only time he seems to jump is when he's attacked. His most powerful attack is when he throws ice towards the ground, freezing it solid, anything in its path frozen with it.

  • Weapon used: Freeze Cracker
  • Weak against: Junk Shield and Scorch Wheel

Junk Man

DL #050: A massive robot who's always a danger to crash into. He'll make a shield out of the junk surrounding the area, turning it into a block; he then pushes it in Mega Man's direction. Next, he'll dive off the screen and come crashing down on the junk block, smashing it and anything near it. Finally, he'll jump back and forth, throwing loose particles downward quickly.

  • Weapon used: Junk Shield
  • Weak against: Thunder Bolt and Slash Claw

Burst Man

DL #051: He always hides out in an area where the ceiling is lined with spikes. Burst Man will make bubbles pop up from underneath Mega Man, trying to lift him into the spikes above. His other attack: Explosive bombs encapsulated in bubbles; if they make contact with Mega Man, he will became trapped inside it as it ascends upward.

  • Weapon used: Danger Wrap
  • Weak against: Scorch Wheel and Freeze Cracker

Cloud Man

DL #052: Another master of the skies. Cloud Man will channel the electrical energy of the clouds then send a lightning bolt in Mega Man's direction. He'll also use the power of the wind to try to knock Mega Man into the gaps on either side of his chamber. If all else fails, Cloud Man will descend from the clouds and try to ram him.

  • Weapon used: Thunder Bolt
  • Weak against: Danger Wrap and Rocket Buster

Spring Man

DL #053: He does what his name suggests: He bounces all over the place. He'll use his long limbs to try to strike Mega Man from afar. He'll counter- attack by clinging to the ceiling with one arm and using the other to slash downward.

  • Weapon used: Wild Coil
  • Weak against: Slash Claw

Slash Man

DL #054: Slash Man's plan of attack is one of frustration. He leaps back and forth, slashing away with his sharp claws. He'll also use the trees above to camouflage some of his attacks, as he'll climb into the trees and chop berries off of the trees. If they hit Mega Man, he'll be immobilized and ripe for a slashing.

  • Weapon used: Slash Claw
  • Weak against: Freeze Cracker and Scorch Wheel

Shade Man

DL #055: This cool customer spends most of the battle in the air, putting himself out of range of most attacks. Slowly moving back and forth, he'll use a dive-bomb-type attack after lulling Mega Man to sleep. If he grabs Mega Man during this attack, he can suck away his energy and add it to his own. When he lands, he'll use 2 attacks: 2 wavy, crisscrossing projectiles in conjunction with his sonic slicer.

  • Weapon used: Noise Crusher
  • Weak against: Wild Coil and Rocket Buster

Turbo Man

DL #056: Turbo Man is a self-proclaimed challenger for Quick Man's throne. His primary attack is his scorch wheel—a deadly shield of fire that he'll throw in Mega Man's direction; if it hits a wall, it will break into 4 and fall to the ground. He'll also rev up, sucking Mega Man into him. Finally, he'll transform into a vehicle and zoom towards the blue bomber.

  • Weapon used: Scorch Wheel
  • Weak against: Noise Crusher

Guts BOT

Guts Man is back—again. This time, though, he fights differently than his previous incarnations. He'll still pound on the ground and make boulders fall from the ceiling, but this time he'll try to make them fall directly onto Mega Man. Or Guts Man will make a brick fall in front of him then push it towards his Mega Man, ramming it soon after. Getting caught in his claw is the worst fate.

  • Weak against: Slash Claw

Hard Shell

This giant turtle has two basic attacks: (1) It'll pull its extremities into its shell then hover above the ground and try to ram into Mega Man, and (2) It'll ascend to the ceiling, leaving its bottom part behind; out of it will come 3 smaller turtles that will execute a different attack depending on how deep it is into the battle.

  • Weak against: Wild Coil and Danger Wrap

kamikaze

As its name suggests, it will feverishly, with no regard for itself, be chasing Mega Man during the battle's duration, bobbing up and down all the while. Its first attack is to shoot out huge fireballs in sets of 3; it'll then move closer and shoot out three accurate looping bombs. Its weak point is the top of its forehead, but it can only be hit when it's close to the ground.

  • Weak against: Noise Crush and Slash Claw

Wily Ship #1

Using this ship, Wily incorporates 2 kinds of attacks: (1) He'll simply fall from the ceiling and begin hopping towards Mega Man, trying to crush him under the bottom-most spikes, or (2) He'll fall from the ceiling and shoot out 2 mini versions of this ship. As Mega Man is dodging them, the big ship will be marching towards him. The opening containing Wily is its weak spot.

  • Weak against: Thunder Bolt

Wily Ship #2

Once again, it's another teleporting ship. This one has only one kind of attack, but it's a very effective one. When he appears, any of 3 kinds of projectiles—spark, ice or flamewill form a square and dart twice quickly in Mega Man's direction. If the flame makes contact, it'll do severe damage; if the ice connects, Wily'll follow up with a ground spark attack. This ship will give you the ultimate battle.

  • Weak against: Wild Coil, Freeze Cracker and Rocket Buster
