Konami upgraded the cell phone version of Akumajou Dracula game a year later to give it a more traditional look. The characters have been enhanced to appear more like their NES counterparts, and the background detail, which was just about nonexistent in the last version, has been been increased by two layers. Also, the programmers utilize a MIDI-like technology in attempting to recreate the memorable musical score. Konami seems to recycle some sprite-work from Akumajou Dracula X68000 for an increased graphical presentation.

The European version emulates Japan's second iteration. The game can played on such services and devices as the Samsung A600, the Sanyo 8100 and a few others. The enjoyability is dependent on your service and how compatible it is with the game.

You can now purchase the localized American version, which also emulates the Japan second iteration, for specific services: Alltell Wireless; AT&T; Nextel and Sprint PCS; T-Mobile; and Verizon Wireless. You can also test drive the game on Konami's official site thanks to its supplying of a two-minute Java-based demo.
