Added 87 Commodore 64 games to Gamepics. Few systems have so many games and few have so many clones. Oh, and there are a bunch of games made in 1995 +. Did I miss something here? This update is mainly for the letter "A", which should give you a slight impression about how many games are still missing. So, contributions are always welcome, even if it's only one game.

Arcade Endings for all. Mortal Kombat 3, Pit Fighter, Time Killers and others.
Posted by: Rey

Bah. Just when I think I'm picking up, and really getting going with this, my monitor breaks and leaves me with no computer access for over a week. Go figure. Thusly, today's update is a little small: 19 updated pages in SNES Gamepics, as well as one new entry, Arcus Odyssey. It's currently missing a title screen shot, so if you can make one, by all means send it in.
In other news, everyone needs to stop what they're doing right now and go play ICO. Seriously.

Friday, August 17, 2001. - Hello video game lovers. I added 45 various ad scans, some are in the three new sections: Dreamcast, Playstation, Playstation 2. I'll add some more next week - AnakinVdr

Remember, if you have any information to add/correct, feel free to e-mail me. This especially holds true for the Japanese games, because I often have too little information about them to bother making a new page for them. - Atma

We reached a million hits! I'd like to thank my family, my agent....no just joking :P I'd like to thank each and everyone of you that come to this site to relive old memories and thanks to Opi, Ed, Kitsune for helping me and the site before and now and thanks to anyone else that has helped the site by Mek's Side. - Rey

Friday, June 22, 2001. - 10 Game Boy Color Endings update. Monster Rancher Explorer, Spider Man, Scooby-Doo, among others. I strongly urge any fan of Maniac Mansion to play Scooby-Doo for Game Boy Color. It plays exactly like Maniac Mansion, even though it's a bit easier, it is still very fun to play..... since we never actually got a game like Maniac Mansion again. Also, it's a breath of fresh air in the midst of all the crap cartoon/movie licensed side scrolling games the GBC gets all the time. Scooby Doo really went out of the crowd and did something different with a cartoon license. Very enjoyable.
Someone please fix the endings index counter, kthx. - Rey

Thursday, June 21, 2001. - It's been a while since I updated, So long I almost forgot about the VGMuseum! I added 105 Mega Drive games (210 scans) to the Mega Drive scans section. Please let me know if you find any errors at all in the titles or if any links don't work. I'll be back as soon as possible with more. - Aaron

Monday, June 18, 2001. - New endings section with 6 Game Boy Advance Endings for ultra cool games like Super Mario Advance and Castlevania Circle of The Moon and crap like Pitfall, Army Men Advance, Iridion 3D (it looks good though).
Does 3DO think they are sitting on a goldmine releasing 694576 Army Men games? It gets me mad the fact that companies that make crap games are all 'exited' about bringing their 'major Super Nes franchises' to GBA.
At least Capcom and Nintendo are alright bringing remakes of old games (because they are good games) but where is Konami with it's Castlevania 1,2 and 3 remakes? Or a Metal gear 1 remake for GBA? Or releasing the original Metal gear 2 on GBA? Why does Konami denies us remakes of those classics while we have to sit through crap remakes like Pitfall, Earthworm Jim (it sucks on GBA).
Kemco wants to release "remakes" of crap games like Phalanx and Krazy Klown.....why don't they release remakes of Lagoon or Top gear 1 (which had great music!) or Dragon's View? I just don't get it. - Rey

Sunday, June 17, 2001. - I guess Game Boy Advance endings are next. - Rey

Saturday, June 16, 2001. - Updated 8 more SNES game pages, and added three new games: A.S.P. Air Strike Patrol, The Addams Family: Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt, and ACME Animation Factory. - Atma

Wednesday, June 6, 2001. - A Super Nes update with 10 endings. Final Fight 3, Mortal Kombat, Super Mario All Stars, X-Men and others. From Lukman I have the Ranma: Treasure of The Crimson Cat Gang and from Opi I have the EVO ending, he sent that one a loooong time ago ;P. - Rey

Tuesday, June 5, 2001. - I'm still screwed with computer problems but I just remebered that I had already uploaded a couple of updates a few months ago. So here is the first one, a Master System Endings update. 10 endings from Oli: Three of the Alex Kidd series (hope he sends the last two of the series), Asterix, Rocky, Alien Syndrome and many more, go check it out! Added Atma to The Curators Section. - Rey

Monday, June 4, 2001. - Alright people, I finally got an update for you, albeit a smaller one. Added 12 SNES games from our good friend Opi at Screenmania. - Mek

Tuesday, May 29, 2001. - Hi. My name's Atma and I'll be renovating the gamepics pages to include information about each game, as well as relevant links to other parts of the Museum. I've started work in the SNES section with 5 games, and I'll more or less be working right down the list. Like everything else, if you have some information you'd like to contribute (or correct), drop me a line (and, preferably, give me some kind of source where you got the info from). - Atma

Sunday, May 20, 2001. - An update on the magazine scan - satsu sent me the name and a better quality scan of the article that was recently printed regarding our site. It was published in Edge, a UK-Based video game magazine.

That's it for now. Take care, all. - Kitsune

Saturday, May 19, 2001. -I live! ... kinda ^_- Anyway, I'm not updating the site (as usual). But, I did find some articles and stuff that mention the site, so here I am, passing the word around.

First off, a friend of mine scanned this article from a british magazine. Problem is, we don't know what magazine it was! (Edge something...?) Thank to satsu for the scan. I hope he tells me what magazine it was one day. ^.^

Also, Maxim Online mentioned us as well! Too bad it was on the same article where Furniture Porn and SiSSYFiGHT2000 were mentioned O_o' (I'm as shocked as you are!)) Thanks to Mek for that one.

I'll upate one day... just you wait! ^.^ - Kitsune

Monday, May 7 2001. - Alright, it's been a while since I updated and that's because I've been working my ass off to buy a new comp. 106 hours in the last two weeks really wears you out. Anywho, I did a small Links update. I'll try to update again within the week. - Mek

Sunday, April 22, 2001. -Added 27 SNES games to Gamepics, contributed by Opi. - Mek

Saturday, April 21, 2001. -Various Playstation Endings for games like Darkstalkers 3, Gran Turismo, Resident Evil, Klonoa (Thanks to Raffy for some of those games) and from Magnus Ver Magnusum (Baraka) I have the Ridge Racer Revolution ending. - Rey

Thursday, April 19, 2001. -New update with 10 Game Boy Color Endings. Endings for Azure Dreams, Dragon's Lair, International Karate, Lion King, Pokemon Silver!, The Simpsons and many more. - Rey

Saturday, April 14, 2001. -Added 2 Amstrad CPC scans from Andy Carr. - Mek

-Added 12 NES games to Gamepics. Small update, but I'm pressed for time. - Mek

Wednesday, April 4, 2001. -Added 10 Arcade Endings. 19XX, Alien vs Predator, D&D, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Marvel Super Heroes, among others. And from Ace I have Karate Blazers, Riot City and Silent Dragon. - Rey

Saturday, March 31, 2001. -Some Game Boy Endings today. Bases Loaded, Battle Arena Toshinden, Castlevania Legends, Final Fantasy Legend 3, Pokemon Blue, among others. - Rey

Monday, March 26, 2001. -Added 31 Sega Master System games to Gamepics, all sent in from Oli. Anyway, tonight should be the greatest Monday night in the history of Wrestling. Party on. - Mek

Saturday, March 24, 2001. -Added 28 more Arcade games to Gamepics, all from Ed. What's new. - Mek

Friday, March 23, 2001. -The Museum passes another milestone today, added 23 Arcade games to Gamepics, making a total of 2,008 Arcade games. I'd like to send a big thanks out to Ed (one of our top contributors) for contributing 99% of the games for that section. Anywho, more to come as usual. - Mek

Wednesday, March 21, 2001. -Added 16 Game Gear scans, all from Willy Koch. Just a note to Angel, Mark, Andy Carr, and everyone else that sent contributions in; yes I have them and yes they will be put up, so no need to worry. - Mek

-Added 2 new Game Scans sections, Atari Jaguar, and Atari Lynx. Two scans for each, all sent in by Willy Koch. - Mek

Friday, March 16, 2001. -Mek put up a new banner chock full of new sprite rips, I'd bet that none of you could name the games they are all from. Post your answers on our Message Board if you are feeling nostalgic or if you think you could actually name them all or most of them at least. - Rey

Thursday, March 15, 2001. -Wow, for the first time I make an ending update for a section in which I didn't do a single ending! Oli sure knows his Master System because he sent me a lot of SMS endings, I will post them little by little. Today I'm only putting 10 Master System Endings, more will follow. - Rey

Sunday, March 11, 2001. - Remember me? Added 119 new PSX scans to the museum. There are too many to list, just go check them out. I'll be adding about 400 NES cart scans, so keep and eye out. - AnakinVdr

Wednesday, March 7, 2001. -More Majesco mayhem. pocket.ign is reporting that they were sent pics of F14 Tomcat made with Wide Boy AGB. Not a screen taken from VGM. To read the full article, click here. - Mek

Saturday, March 3, 2001. Now this is really out there. pocket.ign.com reported that Majesco is faking screenshots of their upcoming Game Boy Advance title, "F14 Tomcat", by using altered SNES pictures instead of real GBA shots. The weird thing is, they took screens from our site, altered them and sent them into EGM (#141).

pocket.ign.com showed a comparison between Majesco's F14 Tomcat screenshots and our own Turn And Burn - No Fly Zone Gamepics.

Please go here to see the story. Special thanks to Zatos and our own Kitsune Sniper for providing the link. - Mek

I'm gonna be doing a lot on the system section and helping out with the scans and other stuff. - Aaron
