  • Tuesday, December 21, 1999. -Well, I've decided I'll be taking a much needed break for a bit. Probably until Christmas. I'll be adding rips and such every so often, but for now I need to take a break. Late.

  • Sunday, December 19, 1999. -Added 4 new Game Scans. All SNES.

    -Added 50 games. Congratulations to     Opi, who has contributed 2,000 games for Gamepics. He also contributed a new featured game. Bubble Bobble for the Arcade. I'll be back later on with some more scans.

  • Friday, December 17, 1999. -Added a new section. Game Scans. As I sat here with nothing to do, I realized it would be nice to have some scans up. Seeing as how Opi likes to think of this site as a "Game Museum." If you want to send me some, please, feel free to do so. 5 Sega Saturn scans are up.

    -Added 63 games. A nice amount of Arcade. Also, I added the Dragon Warrior I Monster Chart created by     Focus. It's excellent, and I recommend checking it out.
  • Thursday, December 16, 1999. -Made 2 new Yoshi's Island rips: Boo, and Big Boo.

    -Added 183 games. The largest update ever. If you go to see What's New, you'll notice Gamepics is now exactly at 5,000 games. Truly a milestone. I'd like to thank everyone who has sent pics, without you, this site would be nothing.
  • Tuesday, December 14, 1999. -Well, sorry for not adding any games. For some reason, I can't upload pics to the servers. I hope this problem is cleared up soon, in that I have a lot of stuff to put up.

  • Saturday, November 27, 1999. -I did have some games lined up to go, but I opted to do some mass graphical improvements. I also split the Sega Section up into 3 smaller sections. The Master System section, SG-1000 section, and the Game Gear section.
  • Friday, November 26, 1999. -Only added 20 games today, (It's Thanksgiving, you know.) Also, I am still looking for contributors for ANY video game that is not up. That includes Atari, Amstrad, PS, even if you want to make some N64, DC, or Saturn shots with your TV tuner, go ahead, send them to me. I will put them up. Click Here for details.

With well over 8,000 screens, it's surely one of the top screen shot archives on the internet, if not THE top. Things you should check out are the Search Engine to find exactly what you are looking for. And Featured Games to see games that have been given extra amounts of shots.

  • Wednesday, November 17, 1999. -Well, all is moving along at a steady pace, check the message board for updates into how far I've gotten. I estimate 2 more days or so until I am completed. Than I can add games as per usual. I'm sure you can find a lot of games now in the engine if you want to try it out.
  • Monday, November 15, 1999. -Didn't add any games today, as I am trying as fast as I can to optimize this site for the search engine. Anyone who thinks this is a waste of time, well, let me just say that it will increase this site's usefulness 10 fold.
  • Sunday, November 14, 1999. -Added a search engine, however I need to do a lot of fixing around here. It's explained in it.
  • -Added 149 games. For those of you out there who has been visiting this site for a while, you know this is the biggest single update in Gamepics' history. And I'm damn tired. Also, I think I may have completed the Neo-Geo section. Anyone out there know if the exact number is 126? Let me know on the message board. Anyway, I think that's all. Late.

  • Tuesday, November 9, 1999. I swear, damn drills ALWAYS make me screw up the dates. Anyway, I added 75 games. Also, I am starting something where (hopefully) everyday will have a "Feature Game" Just like last night, when I put up all those pics for KOF 98. Today's featured game is Kirby 3 for the SNES. It's really useful, and let's me see what is missing from my site, orphan files, non-linked HTML files, etc...     Wednesday, September 29, 1999. -I was going to hold the suprise for the 1,000th game. But I came up with a better plan. You'll all see later. Did a massive update today, not only did I make it to 1,000, I made it to 1,100 in the same night. 1,115 to be exact. Added 134 games.     Sunday, September 26, 1999. -Well it's official, I will be moving this site to Zophar's Domain, as he has offered to host me. This is good news for this site, in that it will help it grow even more. I would personally like to thank Zophar for this opportunity. Also added the NEW Turbografx 16 Section. Added 29 games.     Sunday, September 19, 1999. -Update. Thanks go out to EmulationHQ for mentioning this site. Also, Emulation to the Max has offered TG-16, and Atari Lynx pics for this site. A big thanks goes out to them also for this.

    -Big News, SMS Power has given Gamepics permission to use their Sega Master System and Game Gear shots for this site. A big thanks goes out to them for their support. Look for this new section soon.

    Thursday, September 16, 1999. -For those wanting to contribute shots, please send me 1 of the title screen, and 1 of the in-game action. Also send them to me zipped. Didn't add any new pics tonight, I have to go through and change all the mouse over scripts, and that's over 500 pages! Oh well, it's going to take a few days, but I'll add games when I can. Plus, any of you reading this, this site needs exposure to all kinds of different emu fans, so I can get a wide variety of pics to put up. So any chance you get to spread the word, please do.

    Wednesday, September 8, 1999. -Added 23 games. Also, this is my last update until Sunday night, I have to attend reserve duty, SICK. One more thing of note: Tomorrow is the big day. I'd sure hate to work at a videogame store. Keep the pics rolling in. One last thing, if you see any dead links or pics, mail me about it, sometimes my uploader will damage files.

    Thursday, September 2, 1999. -If you want to submit shots to me, hit the mail link to the left. I would like 2 shots of the game, one of the title screen and one of the in game action. Please send them in the RAW format, meaning just how the emulator produced them, and zipped. I will do all the cropping.
