Description
Long ago, a goddess appeared to the Dragon Family (a race of beings able to transform into dragons) and claimed she could grant wishes. The family split into the Light Dragon clan and the Dark Dragon clan, and the two began fighting over the power of the goddess. The Light Dragons sealed the goddess into six Goddess Keys which were then scattered across the world. Time passed, and the Light Dragon clan's power waned as they lived in peace as normal men and women. But now the Dark Dragons have attacked and are aiming to collect the six keys and restore the goddess so that the power will finally be theirs. The Light Dragons must send a warrior out to defeat the Dark Dragons and keep them from gaining power.

Thus, you must go out and collect the six keys found all over the world, with the help of some people you'll meet along the way. Pretty typical plot, but the game is not without its charm. It also adds a few interesting touches to the formula, such as characters with unique non-battle abilities (breaking through walls, passing through forests, etc), and, as seen below, environments that change visually as day progresses into night.

Redone on the GBA in 2001 with a few minor graphical tweaks.
