Product Description | Cover Art | Screenshots
Castlevania Dominus Collection is a compilation of five series games: Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (Nintendo DS), Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin (Nintendo DS), Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (Nintendo DS), and two versions of Haunted Castle--the original 1988 arcade release and a fully reimagined and improved version of the game that's titled Haunted Castle Revisited.
This multi-platform digital collection was released on August 27th, 2024, for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Steam. It came to all territories on the same day. Its price is currently set at $24.99. The package includes North American, European and Japanese versions of the games (Order of Ecclesia is unique in that it gets an extra Korean version). And it includes, also, bonuses like sketches and artwork (some of it never-before-seen) and a music playlist. The publisher Limited Run Games is set to release physical versions of this collection at a later date.
The three DS games and the original Haunted Castle have been updated to take advantage of advanced features like quick save and "rewind." Also, pressing the ZL trigger during gameplay will bring up a menu that offers some options/tweaks: (1) The save and load features. (2) Control Settings, which brings up a sub-menu that details the games inputs and allows you to fully customize them. (3) Other Settings, which opens up a sub-menu that allows you to change the screen settings, the background color, the separate sound volumes, and the audio and display languages. And (4) Compendium, which provides you data on a game's enemies, equipment, items and more.
