    The Manual's Synopsis

Left as a foundling at the gates of the Brotherhood of Light convent, they named him Gabriel and raised him as their own. Over the years he developed an unprecedented mastery of the fighting arts. Prone to dark moods, he was deeply affected by the death of his one true love, Marie.

He has now embarked on a journey at the request of the Elders of the Brotherhood to discover why the World is in chaos, and within him lays a burning desire for revenge on those who took his beloved.

   Objective / Overview

   Multiplatform Differences

Xbox 360
- Due to the smaller size of the Xbox 360's conventional media compared to Sony's hefty Blue-ray format, its version of Lords of Shadow requires two DVDs. The developers alleviate the problem by allowing the player to fully install Disk 1 onto the 360's hard drive and then run the full game using only Disk 2.
-
Both versions, however, were made available with a Limited Edition bundle (in the North American and PAL regions) that includes an art book and the game's soundtrack wrapped up in special packaging.

   Port Differences

PC and Steam
- The PC releases come packaged with chapters Reverie and Resurrection, which were previously DLC for the console versions.
- The game runs at 60 frames per second, which is double the console game's alleged 30 frames per second.

   Version Differences

Japanese Version
- The Japanese version was released with a concurrent "Special Edition" (rather than the "Limited Edition" available for the other versions), the contents of which I'm unsure.
