Magical Items

The magical items are those that you can collect and keep in your inventory for usage at your own convenience; these can be found laying around, within the possession of the lesser enemies, or in the Merchant's shop. There are four types of items that you'll find: (1) Magic vials, which will restore or maintain your stats in a given way. (2) Stationary, which provide you with maps and tips to help you find your way. (3) Keys, which you can use to unlock sealed doors. And (4) precious stones, which you can collect and sell to the Merchant in order to gain some cash.

Whip Upgrades

Since Juste is limited to just the whip in this adventure, he can make the best of the situation by powering it up; he does so by finding these, the whip extensions. By equipping any of these via the inventory, Juste will increase the whip's usage. I put them in three categories: (1) Attachments, which add objects to the end of the whip for more impact. (2) Elementals, which make the whip more effective against certain foes. And (3) special attributes, which allow special tricks, like the swirling whip technique and the firing of projectiles. Note: Only one can be equipped at a time. For images of Juste using these whips, please check his Heroes In Action sprite page.

Armor and Goods

Undoubtedly, Juste will collect many types of protection throughout the two castles; he'll find over a hundred different types of armors, whether they're just laying around, dropped by enemies or sold to him by the Merchant in one of his shops. By equipping an armor type, you can increase one-four of your attributes: Strength, Defense, Intelligence and Luck; there are limitless combinations that you can work to build up your stats. Armors come in nine categories: Body Armor, Headgear, Hand Protection, Leg Protection, Cloaks, Bracelets, Pendants, Rings and Special Goods. While there are multiple ways to find some of these armors, I'll only list the most convenient castle area/enemy dropper to save time.
