Chapter 6: Invicible Sorrow.
Clock tower, castle in Barnsdall. The 7th. Of January 2099 A.D.
Robin Corham checked his instruments. "It seems to be ready." Nalla acknowledged. "Everything seems alright." The rockets where installed. Robin was pleased. He hadn't been expecting they would give them to him. Witani had a look inside the gun-post. "Is everything alright in here?" She asked. Robin, who had taken off his helmet, gave her the tumb up. "It seems okay." Nalla stated. The black vampire nodded. She played with her fingers upon her wrist. He where unsure if she might have some controls in there. Her ID had been impressive. "Vego and Raglian haven't returned yet." She remarked. Robin frowned. He too was a vampire. He'd taken a doze before going to work. Now, he was concearned. Not that the bounty hunters could take care of themselves. But this was a hostile Portland. "When was last you saw them?" Nalla asked. Robin put his helmet back on. "I thought we agreed to stay around the ship." HE remarked. The price for the dryad had been more then enough to secure a new and more equipped vessel. "They went when you returned." Their comrade informed. He inspected the arsenal. "I'll try call them." Nalla said. "Do that." Robin was finished. "If you don't reach them." Witani stated. "We'll have to go for them." Robin agreed.

Tower of science, castle in Barnsdall. The 7th. Of January 2099 A.D.
He watched the events unfold. The man-beast and his harpy girlfriend had done well. No, more then well. He had fought glrious. Though the traitor would have to die for her treason. No matter though. He would become so powerful. A pitty mistress Oldrey did not secure his convertion. For a moment he let himself dream of what might have been. That was nothing. The future might bring that finest hour to be true. The elevator doors had moved aside. A battalion of super battle-droids, as they where named, had emerged. The man-beast clearly had lost his weapon. Though he did shoot them with his firearm. Patrick Oldrey-Lecarde had collected ammunition of many types and formula. Strange though, how they would fit his arm. That was truly amussing. Even so. He knew well to respect the abilities of their bloodline. Since the transfusion, he regained the memory. Not that he knew everything which where to know. He would make them suffer in Hell. But not yet. Not until the time was right. He knew what to do. They would arrive. Soon, very soon. Then it would be over and he would emerge victorious. The Dark Lord would be reborn.

Patrick kept his ground. Amy fluttered about. She'd been able to distract their efforts. For the moment, the enemy seemed uneasy. He wasn't that stupid. It'd been snowing for quite some time. Patrick knew they where only regrouping. He reloaded his shotgun. Patrick wished he still got his blade. He'd lost it when fighting those cyborgs. Never mind. "Clear them away!" The corporal instructed. Patrick knew his eyes became blazing yellow. So far, the commander had remained behind the lines. The robots approached. Patrick fired. Amy was throwing feathers about. The shock bomb disturbed the approach. Though they where intelligent enough to gather. Patrick had no doubt. He was among their numbers. He retained his man-beast form. Silver howled his challenge. Plasma shot from bogh hands. He repeled their blasters. He then tore into their bodies. The snowy pavement was no ideal battleground. Not for the robots that was. Patrick had learned to adapt. His fur held off against the chill. The crucifix lit on contact. He held it high in defience. He'd learned the image might repel some of their energy. The super battle-droids where clever. But they lacked the ability of improvising and creative thinking. Though they could analyze his strategy. They pulled back. Then came the sound of rolling wheels. Patrick withdrew while throwing garlic. He fused them with man-beast force. The explosion made him shield his eyes. Patrick then threw himself sideways. The group of destroyer-droids had unfolded. There where four of them. The heavy blasters where already activated. Heinrich dodged as best he could. If only he'd got the sword. Amy threw rocks at them. She even released those strong winds. The remaining group super battle-droids got sent into action. There came more of them from within the elevator. Patrick wondered how great an army they actually got in there. Never mind. The destroyer-droids where advancing. Patrick fused his crucifix with man-beast force. The destroyer-droid got taken aback. Patrick shot forward with the cross-shaped blast of solid power. Their generator still managed to block. No matter. Patrick threw himself forward. Amy threw feathers at the approaching robots to might bring them off balance. He threw a row of roses while advancing. Patrick had learned a great deal. The robot couldn't reenergize fast enough. They could block energy or solid objects. But not at the same time. Patrick smirked. Then he was forced on the defensive. The corporal threw other grenades into the air. He'd forgotten he could do that. There still where two other destroyer-droids left in action. They bombarded the area with heavy laser cannons. Patrick released another cross-shaped blast forward. The robot was hit head on. The generator held true. Patrick snarled. HE made plasma shield his offensive. Amy let a huge rock fall down. The machine got smashed. Patrick shook his head. She did knew how to surprise. The corporal broke into his line of thoughts. He threw grenades upon the battlefield. Patrick snarled. HE released outward a storm of garlic. The tripled onslaught shot the robot into oblivion. The destroyer-droid fired. Patrick was forced to run in circles. Then he got close enough. His claws tore through the enemy's construction. The explosion threw him backward. "Watch out!" Amy warned. Patrick went even further backward. Heavy beams of laserfire shot where he'd just been. Above the elevator, there where placed heavy guns or turrets. Little green freaks where already turning the barrel to aim against him. Patrick wondered if this was how Hector felt. The devil forgermaster fought against Dracula in 1499. "Take the goblins!" He told his partner. "I'm at it!" Amy shot back. The black harpy then flew toward the sky. Another band of robots had approached. Patrick was grateful it only was ordinary battle-droids this time. Then again, he could be in danger. The robots didn't request his surrender. Instead, they opened fire immediately after their arrival. Patrick channelled all the energy he might muster. Plasma burned around his body. Patrick threw himself forward. He didn't knew how long he might sustain the show of force. But it would have to last. Patrick was among the group. The sergeant came along this time. Heinrich recognized him from within the maze garden. He'd retained his true form. A hidden opening within the floor was revealed. Patrick made the sign of the cross. The gorilla-like power-droid wasn't anyone he ever wished to meet again. Amy couldn't help him. She was to preoccupied. Patrick defeated the last of the battle-droids. More came from within the elevator. Patrick dodged the sparkling blast. The power-droid remained stationary. That was no comfort. The sergeant fired its automated gun. Patrick still had some Host left. HE held the envelope in front. He'd almost forgotten about the quality. "Jesus Christ!" Now Patrick summoned the name of the Lord. The robots withdrew. The holy wafer gave him time to gather. Silver howled his challenge. Then Patrick dashed. He tore the droids down. Even the sergeant got overthrown. The gorilla threw sparkling blasts. Those sparks held the energy of a medium bomb. Patrick dodged. He threw garlic at the rebuilding robot. He got bombs of his own. Patrick placed the shock-bomb in front. Then he ran for shelter. The power-droid shook. Another band of battle-droids opened fire. Patrick fired his shotgun. He didn't have time to reload. The sergeant fired its shotgun. Multiple tiny explosives got spread throughout the battlefield. Patrick threw stakes at him. He fused the trio with man-beast plasma. The robot collapsed. Heinrich dodged as other sparks where released. The robots seemed taken aback. Patrick was in front of the power-droid. The machine beheld him with a blank expression. Heinrich presented the cross. The robot fired sparks from within its palm. He ducked. Patrick released forward another shining cross-shaped blast. The impact made the robot stagger. The sergeant was back up. If only he could reload the pistol. Patrick threw stakes at them. The battle-droids left behind bullets or even money. He picked it up. The battle-droids seemed to have gathered. Patrick fused the rose with man-beast force. The result was amazing. Patrick released a row of roses which made them explode upon impact. Patrick threw the clipper. Those battle-droids he didn't ram, got struck. The item returned. He retrived it before they might continue. The sergeant had been damaged. No matter. He still managed to rebuild. Just then came another group of robots. Patrick wished he could block the door. That was no option. Patrick threw more garlic. The grenades caused chaos among his enemies. The huge robot made the ground shake. Patrick used the opportunity to reload the shotgun. The sergeant managed to reorganize his soldiers. Patrick fired. He'd filled with discs and bubble shots. The attack struck hard against their lines. Patrick was grateful. He still could fight without the blade. The power-droid made no notice of his assault. It continued to fire. Patrick was forced to run. He fused with the garlic. Patrick threw onions into the air. The empowered explosion seemed to have an impact. Patrick lept over the battlefield. He landed in front of the enemy. Before it could fire, Patrick let it have his plasma. The massive robot shook. Then it fired. Patrick was able to sidestep. The sergeant was damaged. Patrick fired his pistol. The bubble froze him in place. Patrick used the opportunity to finish him off with repeated stakes. The fused projectiles struck the thing to pieces. The power-droid released spark explosives. Patrick was on the move. He hoped to dodge the machine. Other battle-droids came from within the elevator. Patrick made a circle of the Host for better protection. Then he let them have the garlic. Four onion grenades struck the area. Patrick used his final bullets to ram the power-droid. The flame-disc made it burn. Patrick ran to retrive the items left by the opponents. The power-droid wasn't finished with him. The blasted construction still fired. The spark exploded against his shield. Patrick was thrown down by the impact. Though he survived, he got to struggle back up. The gorilla continued blasting. Patrick knew he would have to leave the circle behind. Another group of battle-droids emerged. Patrick fused with his roses. Then he released a row of flowers. The item which Alfred gave to him really finished off the battle. Even the power-droid got reduced to scraps. Patrick toutched his cross. The victory was achieved through the grace of God. He picked the items. The power-droid even left some silver bullets behind. Patrick was grateful. It'd been some time since he used those which he'd brought along. Patrick reloaded the shotgun. What should he do now? Amy came flying toward him. The shells then moved.

Amy wished to warn him. It was no use. The Hellfire-droids had unfolded. She'd defeated the goblins. Mostly anyway. It'd taken some time for her to realize how to prevent them from blasting her boyfriend skyhigh. Amy threw rocks down to destroy the turrets. When that happened, the green freaks withdrew. The wasp-like robots launched missiles from within their frame. This time Patrick couldn't use any of his man-beast force. They would simply release it back as devastating energy. Patrick figured it out. Amy was searching for another boulder when the vulture-droids appeared. She'd fought them before. That didn't meen she felt any better. The group of seven flying machines opened fire. Their rapid-Ion turrets might create a small terminal explosion upon impact. Amy didn't want that to happen. Amy spread her wings. She didn't want to do this. But they left no choise. "Lord Dracula!" She shouted. "I summon your might in the name of Satan!" That was the right of those which had achieved a certain level. Amy made tripled beams strike from above. Only the most powerful harpies could pull off such actions. This ment she would belong to the Dark Lord. Amy didn't care. She would do anything to aid him. The lightning didn't hit. Amy cried her challenge.

Castle wall, castle in Barnsdall. The 7th. Of January 2099 A.D.
First Torah thought they would be crashed against the ceiling. The elevator was still going upward. Heinrich didn't seem to worry about it anyway. Perhaps she could blast the metal? Then the ceiling simply moved aside. Torah preduced the ring-smash. They where within the castle tower. This high up, huge windows where in place for the defenders to behold the landscape. "Fog-shrouded night-scape." Heinrich muttered. Torah sent him a look. He shook his head. Steel bars where before each windows. Torah went to have a closer look. Three huge iron-protected doors, led from the guardroom. She noticed there was a Judas window. Torah had a look. "This way only go back out on the wall." She told Heinrich. The vampire hunter gave a slight nod. It was like something else was keeping his attention. "That way." He finally said, pointing at the westmost doorway. "Would leave us at the main hall." Torah crossed her arms. After the meeting with Iori, she was unsure of what to make of him. But she still trusted him when about the castle. Heinrich seemed to read her mind. "That's a dead end." He muttered. "What about this way then?" Torah asked, speaking about the exit behind her. Heinrich frowned. "I think the wall continue until reaching another tower." He toutched his whip. "I think there is a doorway out there which lead into the chapel." Then that was no option either. Heinrich shrugged. "I rarely went up here." He toutched his crucifix. "Patrick's father was still rebuilding this part of the castle when I last was here." "That make it simple." Torah said. "We'll leave through the northern entrance." "I think so." Heinrich said. Although he sounded slightly unsure. Torah opened the door. Although a little heavy, she managed to get through. Heinrich was behind. He'd cracked his whip. Torah thought of presenting the smash. No matter. There was no enemies. They'd reach something which looked like a sort of depo. The cold wind and snow blew through the iron gate which blocked the way to the gallery. Torah tried to look beyond. The area looked slightly like those areas at the other side of the castle center. Here though, there was only this floor. The metal was cold to toutch. Heinrich was at her side. "I have a bad feeling about this." He muttered. Torah didn't listen. Instead, she tried to open the gate. The bars didn't move. Heinrich inspected the door more closely. "It seems like we're going to need a double key." Torah gave the twin locks a rather nasty look. "We may try to blast it open." She suggested. Heinrich shook his head. "I don't think you can." He pointed skyward. "Look." Torah didn't recognize the symbol of the sun/star symbol. She thought there was a sort of moon insignia as well. But the light was to dim. "Don't tangle with the eclipse symbols." Heinrich advised. "They say Celia's cult was working with those things to break into the dark realm." Torah shuddered. She couldn't help it. Grandmother Yoko also told something about Celia Fortner and her ability to open gates into shadow. "Then what do you suggest?" She asked. Heinrich made the sign of the cross. "I think we should try find the keys." Torah giggled. She then shook her head. "That would be obvious." She said. Heinrich shrugged. "I don't have any better suggestions." Then he went serious. "We have to split." Torah hoped he wouldn't say that. Although it was the best strategy. She didn't want to be left alone. Not when they'd finally reunited. Again it was like Heinrich knew her mind. "I don't like it." HE said. "But I think we have to." Torah nodded. She wasn't happy. But he was right. Heinrich wasted no time. He went back into the tower. Torah gave the metal door one last glance. Then she went along. When she entered, Heinrich was at the westmost doorway. "May the Lord be with you." He said. "And with you to." Torah said. Heinrich smiled. "If we have faight." Then he went through. Torah toutched her own cross. She didn't knew what was waiting for her. Torah gathered. Then she went out through the doorway. It was still snowing heavily. The wind was taking up. Torah inhaled. She preduced the ring-smash. There was a swarm of bats approaching.

Heinrich whipped the mammals into oblivion. The skeleton threw bones into the air. He used the stopwatch. Heinrich only got 5 seconds. He whipped the bag of bones to pieces. He'd just left Torah at the eastern doorway. The castle wall was a rather neglected section. Jacob had been right when he wished to rebuild this place. Heinrich guessed he never got time. He knocked the candles. Their mystic nature kept them intact even in a blizzard. He frowned. Heinrich picked the item. It was another of those moon cards. He already had obtained a sun card. Why where they up here? Why where they within the candles anyway. He dismissed the matter. Heinrich got other trouble. The floor suddenly collapsed. Heinrich made a back-flip. He landed back upon save ground. He looked down. The falling snow made it impossible to see the bottom. The wall itself was a rather impressive sight. But the catwalk wasn't save at all. They'd been made of wood. Some pieces had rotten over the course of the centuries. Heinrich dismissed the matter. He had to be careful. Arrows suddenly struck his position. Heinrich withdrew even further. Above him, upon a sort of balconey, was a group of lizard men. They fired at him. Heinrich made the sign of the cross. Then he threw the boomerang. Heinrich made the item split into multiple homing crosses. The rangers got cut down. He felt no victory. He retrived the cross upon its return. Heinrich then gathered. He jumped across. Upon reaching, he was met by fireballs. The skull head was much larger then the regular pillars. Heinrich whipped away the fireballs. He threw holy water. The burning liquid stained the dragon skull. The enemy didn't burn. Heinrich made the sign of the cross. A giant boulder came smashing from above. Somehow the catwalk held true. No matter. The harpies shot feathers at him. Heinrich made crosses rise in protection. They shielded against the heavy flames. Heinrich whipped with a weapon of aquamarine jewels. The bone head went silent. Heinrich didn't have time. He was busy throwing axes about. They made flames burn on contact. The sky was clear. Not really. There where bats coming in. Heinrich used the stopwatch. That way he could finish the head before the mammals arrived. They didn't come alone. The skeleton was throwing bones. He brandished the whip. Heinrich was able to take bogh the bats and the projectiles. He then threw daggers forward. There was something else about this monster. Heinrich was struck backward when the bones exploded. He was grateful for not being thrown into the abyss. He'd met explosive skeletons before. That was at the entrance. Heinrich made the sign of the cross. He would fight them again if need be. He was about to move forward when another boulder went home. This time the walkway was destroyed. The harpy shrieked. Then it came dashing in. Heinrich was ready. He stamped with the cross. The being which once was a woman, burned on impact. Heinrich knocked the candles. Some he let be. Heinrich picked the items which where inside. Some enemies also left wares behind. Heinrich ran forward. He jumped above the second pit. This time there where no bone head to meet him. Instead there came other bats. Heinrich used the stopwatch. The mammals got whipped into oblivion. Then he got struck by bones. Heinrich felt like nails got tore into his body. He shook the sensation. The skeleton jumped forward while throwing bones. Heinrich swung the whip. This time the skeleton didn't explode. He nearly got struck by arrows. The lizard men tried to use this opportunity to attack. They jumped down from the balconey. Heinrich ducked. The monsters emitted poison mist. He crashed a vial of holy water. The shining blast wiped out their entire group. Heinrich closed his eyes. He really was growing more powerful. Heinrich wasn't really sure if he wished that. He would remain a human. Heinrich gathered. He was a Belmont by blood. He would use his power to protect his loved ones. His breather got interrupted. Other harpies where on the move. Heinrich was able to dodge the boulder. Though the impact created another opening. Heinrich sidestepped the feathers. He made the crystal explode. The effort made them keep some distance. Heinrich got the time he needed to jump across. The snow somewhat obscured his view. Even so, he got above. The enemies where coming in. Heinrich made the cross to twirl above. Water pillars struck them from the sky. He retrived the item. Then Heinrich had a look around. He made the sign of the cross. He felt like burning eyes beheld him. Heinrich went forward. The skeleton threw bones at him. Heinrich whipped the projectile. The skeleton came marching forward as it threw other bones. Heinrich threw the dagger. The knife made the undead beast to explode. Heinrich picked the crystals. When he got closer, the hunter realized the burning items where nothing but torches. They hung to either side of the door. Heinrich tried to pull it open. That was impossible. For a moment he felt desperate. Then he noticed the symbol. Heinrich cleared away the snow. There was a sun symbol. "So that's it." He muttered. Heinrich preduced the sun card. When in place, a beam of bright sunlight illuminated the area. Heinrich blinked. The door was open. Heinrich hurried inside. Although the place was cold, it was better then outside. Heinrich whipped some candles. Then the bats attacked. Heinrich threw more holy water. The liquid made them burn. The crystals might come in handy. He even took the money. His purse never seem to get filled. Heinrich dismissed the matter. He went for the other door. This time it was closed with a moon insignia. Heinrich pulled off the mystic card. Moonlight illuminated the small stone chamber. Aged weapons, guns and pistols of the 19th. Century, hung upon the walls. Patrick might've been interested. Heinrich didn't mind about the matter. He went through the now open door. The cold hit him like a fist. Snow and wind made the place into a whitish hell. Another swarm of bats where approaching. He used the stopwatch. Harpies shot feathers at him. The cross made them scatter. Either way, Heinrich felt this wasn't his day. He whipped the mammals. Then he advanced. He hadn't got far when the walkway collapsed. Heinrich threw himself backward. That was close. To close. He made the sign of the cross. The bone head breathed heavy flame.

Tower of science, castle in Barnsdall. The 7th. Of January 2099 A.D.
Patrick was at work. The duo of Hellfire-droids was pressing him hard. He would have to counter the storm of missiles. The roses or garlic was the only real weapon which might do that. Patrick howled. He went all around the villains while throwing stakes. They could make his plasma or cross blast into a weapon of destruction. This was different. The Hellfire-droid had no real shielding. The maker might think their mere fire-power might be enough. Patrick fused the wood with man-beast power. The stakes exploded upon impact. The one he'd already damaged, got blasted. The comrade turned while firing missiles. They figured out he got difficulty with the rockets. The clipper made the blasted things explode. Patrick quickly followed with the blizzard bubble shot. The robot got frozen over. Patrick released another cross-shaped blast forward. The machine got no chanse. Patrick was breathing heavily. This had been no easy battle. He picked the crystals. He had some food. The man-beast reloaded his pistol. Amy landed in front. "Thanks for handling the guns." He said. The harpy smiled. "Thank you." She said. Patrick frowned. There was something about her. Something which had changed. He just couldn't put the finger on it. She cleared her throat. "You know." She said in a flirty tone. "I even took those Vultures." Patrick nodded. He'd seen her do that. He would like to ask where she got the magic ability. Their conversation got cut short. Another metal plate moved aside. "Oh no." Amy whispered. Patrick agreed. "It's him." He stated. "It's the Cyclops droid." Amy spread her wings. Just then, openings in the wall opened. Probes where scattered throughout the rooftop. "It seems like we've runned into one of old Drac's arms depo." Patrick joked. Though he didn't feel like it. Amy gave no answer. She lifted into the air. "I'll keep the probes busy!" She shouted. Patrick nodded. The mega-droid was on the move while throwing grenades. Patrick prayed it would not use any super bombs. That would make the area collapse. He dodged the explosive while throwing stakes. He fused them with man-beast plasma. The shot only got absorbed by the ordmented shielding. The eye shot rockets. Then it kept jumping forward. Was there really someone within the bulk? He threw the question aside. He instead went in with a sudden side-kick. The robot was at least some four meters tall. He hit in the chest. Patrick fused his body with man-beast magic. The impact made the robot bend over. He knew it was no real impact. Patrick couldn't climb on the monster. Though he threw garlic toward the head. He knew that was the machine's only real weak spot. The probe placed out small explosive devices. The mega-robot sent its claw for him. He grunted. The blasted machine slammed him hard against the floor. He was no ordinary man. That slam would've killed a lesser man. Patrick grasped the hook. The metal wire was ordmented. Patrick knew that. But then he sent along his force. The blast went straight into its body. The opponent asked with a shock blast. The sheer power of which could've torn him apart. Patrick was forced to run in circles. The robot was blasting with homing missiles. The machine launched them in a single row. Patrick shot with his crucifix. The massive load of golden cross-shaped energy was enough to blast those items. He followed up with roses. The Cyclops-robot made the mistake of letting him get to close. The explosion seemed to consume the head. The robot toutched its frame. "Help me!" Patrick shouted. Amy heard his call. She put her arms around him. They lifted off as the power bomb exploded. The blast didn't destroy the rooftop. She let go of him. Patrick landed cat-foot and ready. The eye-machine came bounching forward while firing rockets. These missiles didn't home onto him. Either way, they got shot out in three. Patrick put the Host down. The holy wafer shielded from damage. He picked the Communion before dashing. Patrick let it rain with garlic. The explosive onion went home. Steam got released from its neck and shoulders. Patrick howled with triumph. The shield was gone. Although the battle was far from over. The Cyclops-robot came jumping about while blasting everything which moved. Patrick threw roses into the air. He still had to nail the head or shoulders. The rest of the machine was still ordmented. Then he got taken by the hook. Patrick struggled not to get pulled inward. Amy then made tripled beams to strike down. Foul flames burned the robot's exteriour. Patrick got loose. The robot activated another power-bomb. Amy lifted him off of the battlefield. Patrick used the opportunity to reload his pistol. There still where other probes about. They fired beams from somewhere within their orb-shaped interiour. His girlfriend let go. Patrick landed upon the platform. He was determined to defeat even this villain. The mega-droid was on the offensive. It was still firing rockets. Patrick knew, from the previous battle, it only carried 12 of them in total. He blocked through the aid of the Host. That would be the last of the ordinary missiles. The enemy still got some grenades and homing rockets left within its armour. Beside, there was the hook. Patrick got slammed hard against the floor. He still managed to jump back up. Patrick shook his head. Perhaps he should've looked for a helmet after all. No matter. Not now at least. The eye-machine kept advancing. Patrick fired his pistol. The combo of discs and bullets created another explosion. His opponent sieced throwing grenades. It probably had emptied itself. He'd used all the bullets during that last attack. The shocking blast struck the pistol from his grasp. Amy came flying in. She droped another boulder upon the robot. It should've been defeated. The outer shield was damaged. The interiour exposed. It never was that simple. The mega-droid fired a final homing rocket. Then it followed up with another massive super-bomb.

Amy flapped her wings. The power was building up within her. She almost gasped with extecy. Was this how it felt? She laughed when creating whirlwinds which slammed the probes to pieces. Amy hoped Patrick felt like this when using his power. She felt like having been created anew. Amy helped her boyfriend escape that other blast. The Cyclops-robot was known for its stamina. It still was jumping about while blasting waves of energy. She would like to destroy it herself. Amy kept poundering with feathers. Patrick used the opportunity to ram with roses. Why was he using such a meanless tool of destruction? The flowers where effective. Thick black smoke got released from within the robot. Amy gathered more energy. Chaos had blossomed from within. She would be like the daughter of the night. Amy let the machine have the might of her beam attack. The machine exploded from within. Multiple large crystals was left on the battlefield. Patrick kept all of them. Amy didn't want them. She was supreme. She would show him her love, forever and ever.

Castle wal, castle in Barnsdall. The 7th. Of January 2099 A.D.
The wind blew snow into her eyes. Torah cleared it away with an irrated gesture. The storm only was picking up. Even so, she didn't regret what she and Heinrich had achieved. There was no time to think further about the matter. The skeleton kept throwing bones. The bats only made things even worse. Torah threw garlic into the air. The mammals kept their distance. The skeleton exploded. Bricks and snow got thrown everywhere. She managed to get back up. Torah shook her head. She nearly got struck by the impact. The castle, to the left, and the wall at the right, made this into a perfect wind corridor. She blinked. The explosion had opened the way into a hidden chamber. Torah went to investigate. The room had been carved into the castle wall. The area was covered with the remains of dead plantlife. There still where some crates or boxes about. Torah knocked the candles. She toutched the cross. Torah didn't expect to find this item. The morning-star would, according to legends, upgrade her weapons. She picked it up. At first, nothing seemed to happen. Then Torah noticed her smash had altered slightly in appearance. Instead of being made of copper or bronze, or some other unknown material, they had adapted a rich red colour. The iron-smash felt good to hold. Torah swung them a few times before she continued to explore the hidden chamber. Arrows came flying forward. From within another chamber, the lizards kept firing their bow. "Orbs of sorcery!" Torah came dashing forward. She sent the magic in front to cover up the approach. Her homing balls protected against the next round of arrows. Then she where inside. The lizard men had their weapons ready. They attacked by emitting poison mist. Torah was forced backward. The swordsman got in close. She cut him down with the newly equipped iron-smash. The spearman was who really concearned her. The space was to narrow. Torah threw the stake forward. The monster got impaled. "Orbs of sorcery!" Torah charged. The magic orbs exploded on impact. Torah managed to got into their chamber. The archers fired. Torah was able to glide beneath. She got back up just as the monsters advanced. The poison mist might be dangerous. She threw roses about. The candles replenished her arsenal. The room wasn't large enough for them to hide. The battle was over. Torah toutched the cross. She went to retrive the items. Thanks to God she hadn't become poisoned. Torah opened one of the few whole boxes. She made a grimace. There where Nitro within. She didn't want to get involved. Torah closed the crate. She would continue. The weather was bad. Torah pulled the cap down over her ears. Their somewhat altered shape gave no better protection from the cold. The bats where about. "Orbs of sorcery!" The homing balls shot them away. Bones came flying through the air. Torah dashed. The iron-smash cut the thing to pieces. She spun about. That was the sound of flapping wings. The harpy let the boulder fall. The huge rock blocked off the narrow corridor. It at least shielded from some of the wind. Torah wasn't glad. The harpies shot multiple pointed feathers. "Zapphire curtain!" Torah made the shield shatter on impact. The counterforce cleared the nearest harpy from the sky. She shattered into pieces. Torah felt no victory. She felt sick having to do stuff like this. The other harpies wouldn't leave her alone. They came swooping down from difficult angles. Torah cut the first with the iron-smash. The second she stamped with the cross. They burned into ashes. Torah retrived the crystals. The boulder was still in place. Torah tried to push. It was no luck. She wasn't strong enough. If only Torah had gotten the pulling cube. Legends told of such an item. Jonathan Morris and Charlotte Aulin used that item, in 1944, to pull a running train backward. She gave it up. This ment she had to go back. Torah made a grimace. She really didn't want to do that. There where no doors into the castle. Torah went back into the hidden room. She grasped one Nitro. Then she discovered they where packed with Mandragora. "Thank you God." Torah said. She brought the explosive back out. The mammals where still about. Torah kept note of their activity while moving for the boulder. She put the nitro down. Torah was careful to get out of reach. Just then she almost got nailed by other arrows. She looked skyward. The sample exploded. The lizards, which had been standing upon the castle's rooftop, came jumping down. Torah was there to meet them. Although shaken by the impact, she knew what to do. Flaming stakes handled those first in line. "Orbs of sorcery!" Torah came running forward. The wind was playing with her poncho. The other lizards got cut down. There wasn't enough of them to overwhelm her. Torah picked the crystals. She then threw stakes forward. The skeleton exploded. The impact opened a hole in the floor. Torah managed to jump across. There came another swarm of bats. Torah threw flowers at them. "Star flash!" The short-hand shield blocked off against the heavy flames. The bone head seemed to consider before spitting fireballs. The iron-smash had the same mystic quality as the ring-smash. They cut through the flames. "Winter's heart!" The solid impact made the head freeze in place. Torah cut through the enemy. She claimed the crystals. The skeleton kept throwing bones. Torah threw garlic at him. The bone-man shattered. Some crystals became items when toutching. Saria's medallion gave her the advantage she needed. The harpies didn't agree. They let go of the boulder. The huge rock blocked the walkway. Torah withdrew while they released feathers. "Orbs of sorcery!" They got no chanse. The homing balls shot them from the sky. She claimed the crystals. Torah tried to pull the rock. It was no use. Torah muttered about while returning to the secret area. The bats where about. Torah threw roses at them. The flowers exploded on contact. She picked another sample from within the box. If this happened again, Torah decided, she would try to use the mystic book. The skeletons where back. Torah had to be careful. She threw stakes at them. The weapon wasn't really that powerful. But it was by far the fastest item available. The bone-man exploded. Torah made a back-flip. The explosive skeletons where the greatest threat. They made holes to open. Torah jumped above. "Orbs of sorcery!" The Mandragora secured her mobility. Torah was shooting at the mammals. They never left her behind. Torah put the Nitro down. She went out of reach. The boulder was reduced to pebbles. Pieces flew all over the place. Torah would protect her face. The splinters might kill. She kept going forward. She stil hadn't found the key. A harpy came flying in from a difficult angle. Torah got lifted off of the walkway. Torah stamped with the cross. The hallf-bird/part woman burst into flames. Torah got back down. The skeleton threw bones at her. She got nailed. Torah felt like they really dug into her body. She shook the fealing. The skeleton jumped while throwing more bones. She was able to dodge. The stake ended its misery. Torah threw some garlic toward the bats while moving forward. She barely spotted the next skeleton. The bony adversary was throwing bones about. Torah was able to get in close. She knocked the skeleton down. The impact threw her far back. She shook her head. Torah almost got taken by the explosive skeleton. She gathered. Torah jumped across the open area. The bone head shot fireballs at her. Lizard men came jumping down. There only where some seven of them this time. "Fountain of fire!" Torah answered with her own type of fireballs. The lizards got defeated. Mostly anyway. The survivers came dashing as the head breathed heavy flames. Torah dashed. The iron-smash went through his body. The club collapsed. "Frozen flash!" Torah shielded against the spear. The monster froze over. She knocked it to pieces. The head shot more fireballs. Torah crashed the onslaught. She threw stakes forward. She fused with fire. The bone head got destroyed. The club licked his lips. Then he dashed. Torah withdrew. She then stamped with the cross. The lizard caught fire. Soon it was all over. Torah collected the crystals. The harpies came for the location. They let loose another boulder. Torah almost got crushed. She gathered. The harpies came flying in. One kept flapping her wings, releasing pointed feathers. Torah got hit. She bit together. She slashed the initial enemy. The remaining monsters then flew from difficult angles. Torah stamped the second. The third harpy picked her from the ground. Torah felt like being squeezed to death. Was this how Soma felt when fighting Balore? She dismissed the matter. Torah preduced the mystic book. The tome opened in front. The harpy kept squeezing. Torah played on the fairy ocarina. The music made the harpy burn into ashes. Torah landed back upon the ground. She opened up another page. Torah frowned. She couldn't find the song. The "Symphony of Earth" was just gone. It was impossible. Even so. Torah put away the book and instrument. She would have to go back and fetch another sample. This time, she would take some other Nitro along. She just couldn't keep up going back and forth all the time. The skeletons threw bones. Torah nailed with stakes. The bone-man collapsed. The bats landed upon her body. Torah felt chills down her spine. She stamped with the cross. That made them all burn. She struck with the iron-smash. The undead bones got defeated. She jumped across the pit. The bats where still about. She threw garlic at them. Finally she had returned. Torah went inside. She took another sample. She might take five more. She stashed them into her backpack. Torah then went back out into the storm. Beside some mammals, and two skeletons, she didn't meet any resistance. Though the bats might inflict a cursed state. The bone-men where of the explosive type. Torah didn't relax before reaching the boulder. She put the Nitro down. This time she got out of reach. The castle wall still lay before her. Torah began walking. No reasons to stay around this place. Arrows struck the ground. Other lizards had arrived. Torah made a back-flip. Skeletons came running in. They threw bones into the air. Torah licked her lips. She had to be careful.

Heinrich managed to defeat the enemies. It didn't come without a price. Another portion of the walkway collapsed. Heinrich barely managed to save himself from falling. He made the sign of the cross. Heinrich wondered how large the wall really was. Never mind. He jumped across. The bats where about. Heinrich brandished the whip. This way he might defeat them. He even got the bones. The skeleton kept throwing. Heinrich threw the dagger forward. He'd discovered it was the best way to defeat these villains. The lizard men threw rocks at him. Heinrich answered with axes. The stopwatch kept the bats in place. The monsters fired arrows. Heinrich whipped them away. The holy water made the bats burn. The remaining lizards came jumping down. Heinrich unsheated his sword. He met them hand-to-hand. He ducked when they emitted poison mist. The blade dug into his stomach. The lizard staggered backward. Heinrich plunged his sword into the floor. He made the ground shake. The lizards got thrown off balance. Heinrich threw his cross like a boomerang. The flurry of homing boomerangs finished off the battle. He retrived the cross upon the return. Heinrich then collected the crystals. The harpies noticed about his activity. They made another boulder to drop down. The heavy rock crushed the walkway. Heinrich got above. He still had his sword. Heinrich slashed through the chest of the Greek monster. The sisters shot feathers at him. Heinrich crashed a vial of holy water. The shining impact shielded his approach. The surviver tried to grasp him. Heinrich swung his blade. Her head fell to the ground. "May the Lord make mercy upon your soul." Heinrich prayed. These creatures had been humans once. They'd worked at the castle. Heinrich claimed the crystals. He would have to continue. He was on the move when other bats attacked. Heinrich made the crystal explode. The laurels healed his damages. He hoped Torah was alright. The skeleton was approaching. The bag of bones threw into the air. Heinrich resheated his blade. The sword wasn't the weapon of choise when fighting the dead. The whip sealed its fate. Heinrich kept going while keeping watch. The storm obscured his vision. That was why he almost stumbled upon the bone head. The skull breathed heavy flames. He almost got crisped in the process. Heinrich made crosses rise in protection. He threw dual wavy daggers toward the opponent. They rained on impact. Even the cold had no relevance to the objective. The bats came in a sudden wave. Heinrich brandished the whip. There where to many. He crashed a vial of holy water. To make a holy water wave track forward. The mammals got burned. Heinrich whipped away the fireballs. Then the bone head met the same fate. Heinrich made the whip into a flaming tool of destruction. Then he picked the crystals. The skeleton was on the offensive. They simply seemed to appear. Heinrich threw another dagger. The villain exploded. Heinrich got thrown backward. That most likely saved his life. The walkway gave way. The wood and stone disappeared far below. Heinrich gathered. That had been to close. He inhaled. The air was cold. Snow whirled about. He managed to get across. The skeleton threw bones at him. Heinrich roared upon contact. He felt like being tore apart. The whip made the bone-man collapse. He picked the crystals. The burning eyes, which he thought to have beheld him, where just another pair of torches. He opened the door. Heinrich reached another secured area. The bats came swarming out. Heinrich made a huge crystal fall down. Lightning cleared the battlefield. Heinrich took the gemstones before going inside. Snow came in through the small windows. Heinrich tried to have a look outside. It was impossible. Snow obscured everything. Why was it so that the storm was stronger outside the castle. That he didn't know. Heinrich began to whip the candles. The chamber wasn't really large. There really wasn't that warmer in here. Heinrich dismissed the matter. He was about to leave when he found something else. Within the candle was a sort of golden compass. He picked it up. Torah once told Alicia Schneider held something like it. The thing still pointed westward. He shook his head. Heinrich put it into one pocket. He opened the door. The weather hit him like a fist. This really wasn't good. Soon, all would be obscured. Heinrich kept walking. He would have to find the key. Without, they wouldn't get anywhere. Other bats where on the offensive. Heinrich threw holy water. The skeleton jumped while throwing bones. Heinrich dodged. He finished the deal with another dagger. He collected the crystals. Other harpies where coming in. Heinrich jumped. He made the flaming cross appear behind. The attack cleared the area of enemies. The boulder came crushing down. Another portion of the walkway got destroyed. Heinrich closed his eyes. That only made things more difficult. He ran forward. Heinrich got across. The lizards where there. They threw rocks or fired arrows. Heinrich made crosses rise in front. Then he made another crystal fall down. Water cleared his position. The lizards got soaked. The onslaught gave him time to gather. "Stronger we are in the name of the Lord!" Heinrich shouted while attacking. HE had bogh whip and sword in hand. The battle soon was over. The monsters had been so taken aback that they really didn't have the advantage. Heinrich watched the enemies burn. He made the sign of the cross before collecting diamonds. The breather didn't last. Other bats came flying in. Heinrich used the stopwatch. He threw axes at them. The skeleton seemed to appear out from nowhere. Heinrich whipped the thing into oblivion. He went forward. Other skeletons might be around. The portion of the walkway suddenly gave way. Heinrich lept forward. He managed to land on solid ground. Behind the fallen area disappeared. Heinrich resheated his sword. This place really wasn't secure. He hoped the key was somewhere around. The castle wall was a neglected death trap for all living people. Heinrich tried to shake the feeling. The bone head would lend him a hand in the process. The skull was shooting fireballs. Heinrich whipped them away. He threw the cross like a boomerang. The golden item made an explosion upon impact. Heinrich was on the offensive. He retrived the gold cross before whipping the bone head into oblivion. He claimed the crystals. They might be of some help. The rock didn't break anything this time. It rolled over the edge. Heinrich barely managed to jump across. He might be looking like Indiana Jones or something. Heinrich smirked. The harpies didn't seem that happy. He scratched his beard. The harpies then came flying in. "Glory be the Father, the Son and to the Holy Ghost!" Heinrich held his crucifix high in defience. That made them keep some distance. The harpies shrieked. Then they attacked. Heinrich got shaken. They all three tried to hold him. He cracked the whip. One of them let loose. "Don't resist." The leftmost harpy whispered in his ear. "We might make you happy." The second said, toutching his chest. Heinrich tried to shake it. He wasn't really interested. He went straight up. Then he just fell down on his knees. The harpies giggled. Not for long. "Jesus." Heinrich whispered. Then he crashed the vial of holy water. Flames burned them into ashes. The last of the harpies shrieked. She came for him. The harpy picked him up. Heinrich stamped with the cross. She burst into flame. Heinrich got back down. The battle was over. Not for long. The skeleton was on the move. Heinrich knocked it down. He went forward. The stopwatch made the mammals freeze. The holy water made them burn in place. Heinrich got struck by the bones. The skeleton came jumping in. Heinrich whipped the thing away. The skeleton exploded. The impact made another piece of the walkway to collapse. Heinrich picked the crystals. Then he went above. There was another skeleton. Heinrich threw the dagger. The skeleton got knocked down. Heinrich threw axes toward the mammals. Strong winds made the walkway shake. Or so it felt. Heinrich hurried toward the door. Here there where no torches. Heinrich flailed the whip. Most of the bats got defeated. Some still fluttered about. Heinrich used the sun card. Then he opened the door. This chamber was ruined. The far wall had caved in. There was no way forward. Snow came down through the ceiling. Heinrich looked skyward. He was just in time. The darkside had landed. The foul being beheld him with eyes on fire. Heinrich made the sign of the cross. The wicked came lumbering forward.

Tower of science, castle in Barnsdall. the
Patrick knew that the battle wasn't over. Though he didn't expect it to be this big. The Hellfire-dragon had been resting somewhere within the elevator. It appeared when he went into that accursed thing. The huge machine was breathing heavy flames. Patrick got no means of deflecting. He instead got chased about the rooftop. Amy couldn't help. Nothing she did seemed to affect the robot's statistics. Patrick knew the thing wasn't as large like any real dragon. It didn't mean anything. The Hellfire-dragon opened plates underneath the chest. Patrick went into a defensive posture. He'd learned the thing got ordmented shielding. The machine launched homing rockets. They got released one after another. Patrick charged with all his force to counter the attack. Then he let loose another cross-shaped blast. The Hellfire-dragon shook. Though it was no real victory. Patrick soon discovered. The chest-plates moved aside. The mini-walkers kept going forward. Patrick shot with his pistol. They got no real protection. Though they shot lasers from within the "nose" or "chin." Patrick used the cross to repel it back at the advancing robots. The Hellfire-dragon suddenly roared. The heavy flames would've washed the area clean. He was lifted into the air. "I might still help you." Amy said. Patrick put a hand on her stomach. "Thanks." He just said. She let go of him. Patrick landed just as the giant robot released groups of small choppters. They came forth, placing bomb-like devices while going abroad. Patrick threw garlic at them. The onion made them explode. Silver howled his challenge. Then he emptied his pistol. The shock-bomb might be shot out or placed on the battlefield. The electrified explosion seemed to enclose the dragon inside an static web of destruction. It should've taken out any normal shielding. The Hellfire-dragon shook it off. Patrick made the sign of the cross. This was no ordinary construction. The Hellfire-dragon was a machine of war. It was made for one thing alone, destruction. He was shaken. There was no reason to conceal his emotion. Then he gathered. Silver wouldn't die here. Patrick avoided the heavy flames. They burned upon contact. Patrick managed to get behind. He reloaded his pistol. That thing was prity much immune to fire. Perhaps he should try something else. The dragon turned all around. The machine was humanoid construction. It might perform any motion or mobility of a living creature. Patrick wasn't interested. He threw roses about. Alfred's weapon gave him the distance he needed. Patrick fired all seven bubbles. The Hellfire-dragon froze all over. The huge monster then collapsed upon the floor. Patrick reloaded his shotgun. That was to easy. Amy landed beside him. "I think… " The harpy began. She never finished her statement. The machine was back in action. The mini-walkers where on the move. Amy lifted into the air. She shot with tripled beams. She at least could destroy these robots. Patrick was busy dodging the missiles. He covered up with stakes. The wood would make them explode on impact. He then threw garlic into the dragon's launching system. Another explosion seemed to erupt from somewhere deep within the enemy. This time it didn't collapse. Instead it came flying forward while releasing choppters. They placed explosive devices about the area. Amy released multiple feathers. That made them loose momentum. Patrick shot plasma. Bogh the walkers and the hellichopter-robots left crystals behind. They really came in handy. The Hellfire-dragon shot waves of flame. Patrick managed to get through. The man-beast was better equipped to withstand heat and cold then where the humans. Speaking of which; Patrick shot plasma into the air. The machine at least got slowed down. Though only slightly. Patrick reloaded the pistol. The Hellfire-dragon shot with guns plased upon the shoulders. They created other explosions. The tail slammed him hard against the floor. Patrick grunted. The armour might slow him down. The enemy picked him up. Patrick placed the barrel against its head and fired. The blizzard bubbles almost killed him. The Hellfire-dragon slammed against the pavement. HE almost got crushed in the process. Patrick was able to roll aside. While the machine was still down, he placed other bombs around its position. Amy came flying in. She smirked as she fired beams. The combined impact should've been the payoff. It wasn't. Somehow the Hellfire-dragon got back in action. Something had changed. Smoke got released into the air. Combined with the falling snow, that only furter obscured his vision. Patrick cleared his sight. The dragon sooned told about its position. The rapid-ion caused fermal explosions upon impact. Patrick was forced to run. The dragon roared. The sound was very like one of the lesser dragons. No matter. The dragon fired other missiles. Amy shot feathers at them. Patrick fired his shining cross-shaped blast. The robot shook. Then the chopters came flying in. They kept his girlfriend busy. The program might analyze their strategy. Patrick drew sweath of his brow. Things really was difficult today. If only the group had been united. Together they would've won. Patrick was certain. The mini-walkers had another walk. He threw stakes at them. Patrick fused with man-beast force. That made them blast into oblivion. Patrick wished to concentrate on the Hellfire-dragon. Amy released a vivid hurricane. That obscured the droid long enough for him to do his move. He'd reloaded the pistol. The flame discs exploded on contact. Flames burned through the dragon's interiour. Amy threw feathers to further distract their enemy. The heavy flames almost went home. Patrick howled. He'd retained his wolf form. Silver was able to climb upon the machine. He growled while fusing with plasma. His entire body got illuminated. He grasped between the dragon's wings. The sheer force of the assault made the Hellfire-dragon fall down. The impact seemed to damage some of its systems. Although grounded, the beast might still walk. It came forward while blasting rockets. Patrick really was going out of tricks. Then Amy let go one of her boulders. The tail made it shatter. The harpy got slammed into the building. She somehow got back up. Patrick snarled. HE threw roses into the air. He fused with more energy. The flowers burst on impact. The explosion was really spectacular. The Hellfire-dragon must've reprogrammed itself. The huge robot got back into the air. Amy seemed more then a little shaky. She still managed to fire her beams. The dragon breathed heavy flames. Amy flapped her wings. The tornado forced the flames backward. The harpy was screaming. While the flames absorbed the robot, she clearly was releasing all her energy into the assault. Patrick had to finish off this madness. Why had it to be this way? Each time he would fight, he only would add to chaos. He put the speculations aside. This wasn't the time. He climbed upon its back. He placed other bombs along the spine. He jumped back off just as the dragon realized. But it was already to late. The explosion tore the machine apart. Patrick didn't care. He ran to check on his girlfriend.

Amy felt adaze. That last effort almost killed her. Though why did she feel so alive when using her power? Patrick knelt beside her. She tried to shake such emotions. "Is everything alright?" The man-beast asked. She red worry upon his face. Somehow his emotions made her feel angry. "Of course." She said. "You don't have to worry about me." She got back up, dusting off herself. The snow wasn't really that cold. Not anymore. Patrick looked like the statement hurt him. Amy didn't care. She was more interested in other things. "You did it." She exclaimed. "Your power is so strong." She went closer. "Together we might do everything." Patrick shrugged. He went to colect crystals. Amy grimased. Why would he care about them when she wanted to be with him? She shook her head. Amy felt so strange lately. She hardly didn't knew herself anymore. "I'm sorry." She said. She really ment it. Patrick smiled. "Don't be." He said. She put an arm around him. Patrick smiled down at her. "Such a emotional sceene." She didn't knew that voice. A man clad in a green, yellow and flame-coloured armour, had appeared. Amy didn't knew why, but she got a bad feeling.

Castle wall, castle in Barnsdall. The 7th. Of January 2099 A.D.
Torah was on the offensive. She slashed through his stomach. The lizard collapsed into a heap. Torah claimed the crystals. She had a look around. The traps still where the greatest threat. The drophole traps might leave her captured. That would've given Dracula's monsters the perfect opportunity. Thank the Lord they where to old to really function. Then the spiketraps where more devastating. The metal fence, with multiple pointed spikes, would suddenly appear from within the wall. Torah used the Nitro to blow them away. She already had been doing that on three ocations. Torah put the matter aside. The snow made it almost impossible to locate the switches which would activate a given danger. The skeleton kept throwing bones. Torah ran down the steps. She thus left the hight on which she'd faced the automated dangers. Some steps actually gave way. Torah was able to jump across. She landed before the enemy. The iron-smash knocked him down. The bats where on the move. "Orbs of sorcery!" The mammals got shot away. Torah dusted off her cap. The snow lay high ontop. It almost was like a devine rage was making havoc. Torah put the matter aside. Not everything could be related to the curse. The boulder almost crushed her on impact. Torah made a back-flip. The harpies shot feathers at her. Torah answered with tripled garlic. She fused with magic. Shining explosions lit on contact. Torah threw herself upon the floor. The enemy picked her up. "You'll die!" The Greek monster shouted. "I don't think so." Torah muttered. She stamped with the cross. She was let back down. She shook her head. The storm was freezing. She put Nitro before the boulder. Torah then ran back off. The explosion threw her hard on the pavement. She got back up just as the bone head began shooting. She struck away the fireballs. Bats had arrived. Torah let them have the roses. "Opal sun!" The solid fireball struck home. The skull moved back and forth while breathing heavy flames. Torah managed to get away. She threw stakes forward. Her magic made the thing freeze over. A trio of lizard men appeared from behind. They shot arrows at her. The bone head was spitting fireballs. "Zappphire curtain!" She blocked their offensive. She had to get rid of the head. "Orbs of sorcery!" The monsters withdrew. No matter, the skull got shot. The bone head continued breathing. The skeleton threw bones into the air. Torah threw stakes at him. The bone-man exploded. He took the skull along. No matter, the impact created another opening. Torah picked the crystals closest to her. They left some money. Arrows came flying forward. Torah ducked. Two monsters came for the location. The club was emitting poison mist. "Dance of the Nutcrackers!" No more frost was needed. Torah danced with the fairies. The monsters shattered. "Orbs of sorcery!" The last monster got shot. She claimed the crystals. Torah gathered. She threw garlic toward the mammals. Then Torah jumped beyond. There was another staircase. Above her location, windows where staring down. Torah actually felt like being watched. What if Actrise was up there? Grandmother Yoko and Mathilda once argued about Carrie's cousin. Aunt Mathilda said that she might be a resurrected Sypha Belnades. Yoko didn't agree. She'd stated that not even the circle of blood could do that. Their great ancestor was with God. Although Sypha had been a Romani and a sorceress, she took Trevor Belmont's hand in a Christian marriage. That had been way back in 1496. Torah shook it off. It wouldn't help to think about such matters. This time no steps gave way. Torah reached the top of the steps. The lizard man fired his bow. Torah almost got rammed. She threw herself flat on the platform. The stake went home. The walkway was narrower up here. She picked the crystals. Torah went forward. The skeleton threw bones. Torah got nailed this time. She screamed. Torah just couldn't help it. The skeleton advanced. Torah threw herself forward. The iron-smash ended the battle. Torah thought she heard a sort of clicking sound. She threw herself backward. The spike-lined fence went all across the catwalk. Torah inhaled. Bats landed upon her body. She stamped with the cross. They burned into ashes. She dusted off. There even where spikes on top. Torah wouldn't dare to jump. She instead placed Nitro in front. The fence got blasted away. Torah almost went along. She really hoped there would be no more traps like this one. If that happened, she would have to go back to that hidden chamber to fetch more samples. Torah shook her head. That would take more time. More bats where coming in. She threw garlic at them. The skeleton threw bones. She threw the stake forward. The enemy collapsed. They at least wasn't armed or anything. Other arrows came flying forth. The lizards must've jumped from one of the windows. Torah dodged. "Orbs of sorcery!" The enemies got shot. She picked the crystals. Torah shook the fealing. There was no reason to stay behind. Then another pit got opened. She guessed the trap must've activated during that last fight. Torah toutched the cross. Then she jumped. Torah got above. Although the snow obscured matters, she discovered the tower wasn't far off. Lit torches was at each side of the door. They burned with such eerie light. Torah went out on the square field. This might've been a balconey back when the castle was inhabited. There was another one of those marble benches. Someone was seated upon that place. Torah toutched the cross. She so hoped there wasn't a vampire. The harpies didn't wish to be disturbed. She blushed. Torah didn't mean to interrupt anything. The Greek monsters got into the air. The blonde, the brunette and the redhead somehow reminded about something she couldn't quite remember. "Take her Elizabeth!" The hothead shouted. "Do it cousin!" The brunette encouraged. "Yes, Georgia." The blonde said. "I can do it." Torah shook off her confusion. Elizabeth was flapping her wings. Adults would've been attracted by her. She was blonde and voluptious. Large blue eyes stared into brown. Torah held the cross in front. "Be gone with you." For some reason she didn't wish to fight this trio. "Help me Nancy!" The harpy pleaded. The others came to assist. Georgia might have been an older model of herself. She even got brown hair. Georgia looked trained and experienced. She gave a sudden sidekick. Torah lost hold of the symbol. Either way, she kept it tied around her wrist. "Star flash!" Torah defended with her magic. If only she could preduce the iron-smash. The third harpy came in low. "I may discover your weakness." She promised. Torah thought she looked intelligent. "Orbs of sorcery!" They where clever. The trio used feathers to block against her magic. Torah made a back-flip. She got the smash ready. She then dashed forward. Elizabeth got cut down. Nancy threw rocks at her. Torah sidestepped. Georgia flapped her wings. The strong wind almost blew her off of the area. "Pot of gold!" Torah released multiple golden orbs. The brunette got struck from the sky. "You killed my best friends." Nancy accused. Torah simply nodded. "But you pledged fealty to Chaos." She shot back. Nancy was in the air. "You shall pay for what you did to me!" She shouted. She picked up the very bench. Torah was able to dodge. They really where so strong. She came darting in. "Rainbow flame!" Torah had to do this. Nancy got burned into ashes. Torah felt like crying. This wasn't right. Nothing have been since Yoko died. She picked together. Her grandmother wouldn't cry just because something didn't went her way. She collected the gemstones. Torah put the money into her purse. Then she went to open the door. Torah had a look around. This place was different. It wasn't like that other tower. Huge windows, consisting of multiple square pieces of glass, where looking out on the countryside. Torah closed the door. She went forward. She moved the rich burgundy curtains aside. They where made of velvet. Torah noticed the land was covered in white. She toutched the cross. Their actions hadn't been in wain. The heart was roaring up the chimney. Torah sat upon the low sofa before the fire. She'd been cold for so long. The fireplace must've been refreshed rather lately. The chamber was illuminated by those Arabian silver lanterns. Torah held her hands over the heat. Jonathan Harker said the count Dracula held one of those lamps when first greating him at the door in 1897. Heinrich said the curse hadn't been lifted. Torah knew that he'd seen lord Dracula. Actrise tried to convince her to join in with the Dark Lord. Torah got up. She had to search for the key. If only Soma Cruz hadn't died. Then the dark wanderers, and the circle of blood, would still have rested in their deep graves. Soma hadn't been a vampire. He could've made his own decision on who would inherit Dracula's power. Then the eclipse might still have been intact. Not that she knew much about it. Yoko said he died in 2075. Mathilda was sure the order of shadow was behind his assassination. Sure enough, he and his entire family got murdered. Or so it was believed. Her grandmother still had contact with the Belmont clan. Torah knew the rumours where true. She'd seen the girl when the castle was released. Torah frowned. How could that even be possible? Victor had been sure Christian managed to take her along. Then nobody had inherited his power. Perhaps he'd been reborn when the eclipse got broken? Torah wasn't sure what to believe. The other exit most likely led into the castle. Torah began to move toward it. She could at least have a look inside. But why was Dracula here? It wasn't the first time she wonderd. If what Heinrich said was true, this curse had nothing to do with Dracula or Castlevania. Perhaps he just wanted the power for himself? Then what about Iori. Her thoughts where cut short. The door was thrown open. A villager came running in. "H help me!" The man shouted. He banged the door shut, leaning against it. Torah withdrew slightly. Though the man was simply horrified. "Th There only is demons living here." The villager almost sobbed. "I tell you, this is the castle of Hell." "It's okay." Torah tried to comfort. "I might be just a girl, but I can help you." She stepped forward. Then she noticed something through the corner of her eye. There was a mirror behind. Torah guessed the fine artwork was of the French Renesance. The thought then crystallized, and crumbled into dust. The villager cast no shadow or reflection. "You." She spun around. "You're a vampire." The man made no argument. Instead, his seeming humanity just melted away. "Come to me. I'll have your blood!" He shrieked. The demon slashed. Torah ducked. Her enemy went forth. He crushed the mirror on purpose. The undead wasn't afraid of the curse. Torah had no mind. "You smell different from those other adventurers." The vampire snarled. Torah toutched the cross. She got the iron-smash. Torah cut through the open space. The undead made a wild leap. He landed behind. Torah spun. The smash cut through his stomach. The vampire was able to heal himself. He laughed before leaching forward. The fangs where exposed. Torah stamped with the cross. The stench of fried flesh almost made her throw up. The vampire stabbed with the claws before slashing. Torah got hit across the chest. Blood stained her clouthings. She watched him lick his lips and fangs. She dashed forward. The smash cut through his body. Torah missed the heart. The undead staggered. Torah used the opportunity to ram with stakes. The demon pulled them back out. He then threw them on the floor. Torah licked her lips. Then the devil leached. He jumped at her. She still got the smash. Torah lept. The head fell to the floor. He still came forward. Torah felt chills down her spine. "Orbs of sorcery!" She charged. The impact made the living undead burn into ashes. Torah inhaled. She hoped he might be released from the curse. She then turned around. Torah inspected the mirror. After his defeat, it'd changed. The glass was smaller now. It was oval in shape. Torah had an idea she almost could gaze into another world. The mirror was just so bright and pure. She'd seemed something like this before, in one of Mathilda's books. The author thought the lady of the lake did craft the item to control the fairies of the forest. Then again, another tome stated that the was the fays themselves who crafted the item. That was when they would aid the tall elves in their most magical crafting. Legends told that Alucard once found a shield which they had left behind. She put the matter aside. She toutched the item. It was clear and solid. Not unsure if she should do this, Torah cast a protective spell upon it. This wasn't as covering as the one used on the white jewel. But it would protect the item until she could show it to Rose or Heinrich. Torah put the mirror into her backpack. She still wasn't finished. Torah had to search the room for the lost key. There wasn't many places left to investigate. The room made her think of a Turkish harem. Silk and velvet was mainly present. The handywork told of the Orient. Torah once visited a Museum of Eastern art while in school. It'd actually been rather interesting. Torah giggled when thinking of herself dressed like that. She shook it off. Torah had some medicine before she continued. She discovered she could knock the oil lamps like candles. There where items inside. Torah was careful not to knock them all down. Finally she found what she was searching for. The key just lay on the mantelpiece. Torah smiled. How British. She shrugged. Torah only hoped Heinrich would be there when she returned. She went back out into the storm.

Heinrich knew he was in trouble. The space wasn't large enough for their kind of fight. The darkside also seemed to have noticed. The wicked hissed with frustration. Dark smoke went from his mouth and nosedrills. Heinrich noticed something to the side. He reached out. The key was laying upon another old box. He grasped it efore the darkside might stop him. The enemy didn't seem interested. "You." The winged creature rasped. "You must die." The wicked was breathing heavily. Heinrich thought it might be this way. They better adapted to heat then to subzero temperatures. That was no comfort. The darkside might still kill him. But not in here. Not within this killing box. Heinrich went back out. The storm was whipping snow about.. The door didn't last for a second. The wicked blasted the thing away. Heinrich had the whip in hand. The wicked shot red beams of flame from within its eyes. Heinrich ducked underneath. He threw the cross like a boomerang. The darkside got struck by the knee. The being then vanished. Heinrich knew this would be difficult. The crystal was flouting in the air. If only he could find it. But it was already to late. The enemy had reformed. The darkside made lightning strike. The darkside magic made the walkway burn. Heinrich jumped across. The darkside came flying in while shooting. Heinrich made crosses rise in protection. The wicked landed. The darkside shot another boiling fireball from within its jaws. Heinrich threw holy water. The being screamed out with anger and hate. There was agony in its voice. Heinrich would see beyond the obvious. This time he spotted the crystal. He cracked the whip. The gemstone shattered. The being made lightning strike. Heinrich hung up the whip. He instead held his sword out. The water wave extinguished the flames. He wasn't quick enough. Heinrich was forced to make another jump. He fused with earth. The fairy sword shone with green light. The ancient power which he'd commanded actually repeled the red beams. Evil radiated from the very being. Heinrich could almost taste its malice. He made the crystal explode. The darkside was taken aback. They didn't knew he'd collected the item. He made the sign of the cross. Heinrich got the ability of his ancestors. HE could see beyond the obvious. Heinrich discovered the flouting crystal. HE struck with the blade. Although no longer forged with green, the weapon made the item crash. The evil one spat a boiling fireball. Somehow he was less afraid then before. No matter. The wicked could destroy him. Heinrich bit together. He made another holy water wave wash forward. The enemy didn't seem to like that. It lifted into the air. That made things even more difficult. Heinrich summoned more of the bloodline power. He made a circle of axes become spread outward. The darkside howled. Heinrich knew the offence went home. He searched for the crystal. He was to late. The evil demon reformed. The fireball struck. But not at him. It instead made the ground shake. Heinrich jumped backward. He landed before the door. He ran over to the other side. When he opened, the wicked was there. "The end." It rasped. "You cannot escape." "In the name of Jesus of Nazareth." He calmly said when stamping the cross. The crucifix made the enemy disappear. Heinrich looked about. This time the crystal appeared behind. Heinrich struck his sword deep into the enemy. The crystal splintered. The wicked had returned. He made lightning strike. Heinrich got thrown to the floor. Pain was his universe. The devil slashed its claws. He still got the crucifix. Heinrich was lifted into the air as dual electrical crosses circled his position. The enemy got taken aback. The electrified symbols cut through his body. Ugly black blood stained his shroud. The villain disappeared. Still aching all over, Heinrich had the sword ready. There was the crystal. "Stronger we are in the name of the Lord!" He shouted while cracking the crystal. The enemy screamed. The darkside stood in place while whirling. Heinrich ran out of the tower. He didn't want to be there. HE went above the open area. He threw holy water toward the mammals. Heinrich got above the next pit when the enemy kept up. He gathered. Heinrich resheated the blade. The enemy shot parallel beams of red flame. Heinrich ducked. He threw the dagger forward. The enemy got struck. Heinrich threw the axe. The wicked staggered. Then he vanished. He saw beyond the obvious. Heinrich was able to track the crystal. He struck with the whip. The crystal shattered. The devil reappeared. Black smoke was released into the air. Heinrich made the sign of the cross. Why couldn't he defeat this monster? The darkside lifted into the air. Heinrich ran. He reached into the other secure chamber. He barged the door shut. Heinrich leaned against it. He got to have a breather. Things where getting out of hand. Heinrich used the laurels to heal himself of damage. He looked upon the golden compass. The needle had disappeared. Heinrich frowned. Did this mean he got to defeat the darkside? He never knew the answer. Through the other door came his enemy. He shot flames from the eyes. Heinrich made crosses rise around his location. The wicked spread its large leathery wings. He came flying forward. Heinrich gathered his power. "Glory be the Father, the Son and to the Holy Ghost!" HE shouted while plunging the axe. The four axes exploded on impact. Flames burned the wicked's body. The darkside screamed like a forsaken soul in Hell. The crystal was there. Heinrich still had flame enough to fuse with the whip. The flaming tool of destruction made the crystal shatter. The devil toutched its throat. Flames burned from within. "I hate you!" The darkside screamed while dissolving into ashes. Heinrich couldn't watch. The wicked being stared with such villainy and hatred he couldn't stare back. The fight was over. At least for the moment. He picked the crystals and money. Heinrich didn't really felt like he deserved them. No matter, they would get in handy. He went out the other door. The snow was still blinding. He used the stopwatch against the mammals. The skeleton threw bones into the air. Heinrich answered with another dagger. Then he whipped the bats away. The bag of bones collapsed. He claimed the crystals. Heinrich jumped above the open area. A lizard man came jumping down. Heinrich dodged the poison mist. He flailed with the whip. The monster was struck backward. The blade fell from its hand. He stabbed with its knife. Heinrich stepped backward. Then he doused the being with holy water. The lizard burned into ashes. Heinrich threw more holy water toward the mammals. They seemed to come in an endless number. That Christopher Belmont said about the rolling eyeballs. That was in 1577. Heinrich dismissed the matter. He got above another opening. The skeleton jumped for the location. Heinrich whipped the bone-man into pieces. The torches beheld him with an evil stare. So it felt. Heinrich put the matter aside. He went forward. That he didn't notice. The door into the guardroom was closed with a moon symbol. Heinrich stil got the card. A beam of moonlight marked the territory. Heinrich then went inside. The room was empty. Torah hadn't returned yet. Strange though, Heinrich still felt like being watched. Heinrich went forward. Something was wrong. Heinrich had a bad feeling. He heard a sort of chewing sound. Something fell from above. The corpse landed in front. Heinrich made the sign of the cross. Although he'd experienced something like this before, it didn't make things less dificult. "Very rude to interrupt someone enjoing their meal." Someone said. "Or shall I think otherwise?" Another voice was speaking. A duo of figures came falling down. "Like the main dish have arrived." They bogh laughed. Then he got serious. "I shall kill you here." They where dressed like 19th. Century farmers. Though they looked to young. Heinrich got the whip. The duo leached for him. Heinrich went sideways. The leftmost undead attacked with a sudden series of hard punches. Heinrich stamped with the cross. The vampire snarled. The second came in from behind with repeated slashes. Heinrich drew backward. He threw the dagger forward. The knife didn't reach the heart. The being laughed. He then knocked Heinrich with dual heavy punches. He staggered backward. The other came in low, fangs exposed. Heinrich winched as the vampire bit his neck. It was terrible to feel the draining of blood. Then a whirlwind of snow and white came through the other door. Torah stood there, weapon in hand. "You don't even toutch him." She stated. Heinrich struck the vampire with the whip. He wasn't prepare to die. "Then perhaps we might toutch you instead?" The demons came lurking forward like wild cats hunting. Torah dashed. She cut through the first in line. She got through to him. "Take this." She told before spreading her arms. The vampires performed wild acrobatics. Heinrich wasn't quite sure how to use this thing. Then a bright flash illuminated his position. Heinrich blinked. He was restored. The vampires came in low. Blood stained their clouthing. They attacked with repeated punches or slashing swipes. Heinrich hung up the whip. He got the blade out and ready. Torah was chasing the other undead. "Come and take it if you can." He muttered. The enemy answered with a sudden high kick. Heinrich barely managed to duck. He swung the blade. The vampire got cut through the chest. Heinrich knew, when the villain laughed, that he didn't reach the heart. The vampire slashed with sweeping claws. That might've torn his throat. The cross made flames enshroud his fingers. The undead cursed. The comrade came in from above. Heinrich merely dodged the assault. Torah suddenly appeared. She threw tripled stakes. The vampire which he'd faught earlier, got impaled. That wasn't the end. The other demon sent him sprawling with another high kick. Heinrich thanked the Lord they got no magic tricks. The vampire came in for the kill. Heinrich got the sword up. The blade went through his stomach. The vampire lept toward the ceiling. The original vampire came leaping forward. Heinrich ducked. Then he threw holy water. The vial shattered. The undead got soaked. Heinrich swung the sword through his chest. Blood stained the pavement. The vampire screamed. "Impossible!" Flames consumed his body. "How can I, a vampire, loose to a mere human?" The second villain became absorbed with fire. Heinrich was breathing heavily. Torah hung her head. They bogh where very tired. Then the female corpse suddenly began crawling forth. Torah screamed. Heinrich cursed beneath his breth. The female vampire lept up with double claw-swipes. Torah managed to back away. Heinrich got scratched. The vampire victim smiled with a wicked grin. Heinrich felt chills by the mere sight. It was like an evil parody of a human's behaviour. He made the sign of the cross. The gesture seemed to make her more furious. Torah came in from the other side. She slashed with the ring-smash. Although they looked slightly different. Heinrich put the matter aside. He was about to strike when the woman turned into mist. She then reappeared somewhere else. The female vampire made a swarm of bats to attack. Heinrich threw holy water. The flock got consumed. "Orbs of sorcery!" Torah fired. The enemy had vanished. Then she suddenly reappeared. She fell down upon the smaller girl. Heinrich came running forward. Torah stamped with the cross. She staggered, but then slashed with her claws. Torah had no armour. The girl shrieked with pain and anguish. Heinrich stabbed down with the blade in bogh hands. The female vampire got impaled. Somehow she survived. Her body became turned into mist. "There she is!" Torah shouted. The enemy made other bats attack. Torah threw garlic into the air. The female vampire already had vanished. Heinrich was on the move. "Watch out! Orbs of sorcery!" The undead appeared behind. Torah managed to shoot her before anything happened. He swung to might finish her off. But the devil's concubine released bats into his face. Heinrich was forced backward. The enemy smirked with malice and villainy. Then Torah was back. She crashed into her spine. Heinrich had thrown holy water about to might protect against the mammals. The female vampire got the load all over. She then burst into flame. Heinrich leaned against the wall. Torah had sat down. Heinrich felt weary. He really hadn't got any sleep for these past days. Torah also must be tired. She still managed to get back up. Heinrich went forward. They picked what items the vampires left behind. They bogh had a sip of the healing potion. Torah then led the way back out. Heinrich resheated his blade before following. The storm was still terrible. "Thanks for saving me back there!" Heinrich shouted to be heard above the strong wind. "No need!" Torah said. "Shall we open the gate!?" Heinrich nodded. That was better then all this shouting. They bogh presented a key. In unison, they turned the lock. The metal gate was opened. This time Heinrich led the way.

Tower of science, castle in Barnsdall. The 7th. Of January 2099 A.D.
The bounty-hunter somehow seemed to freeze in place. Patrick frowned. What was going on? Then the cyborg broke into pieces. All of which came his way. Patrick was able to ddodge the offensive. Vego reformed. "Quite clever. Isn't it?" He asked. The wind whipped his shoulder-length grey heair about. Patrick made no comment. He'd retained his man-beast form. Somehow he just knew this would be difficult. Vego again seemed to freeze. Then he shattered. The pieces came flying forward. Patrick was able to jump across. The bounty-hunter reformed. This time he shot multiple pebble bullets from within his arm cannon. Amy made lightning strike. Vego lifted his hand. The armour only seemed to absorb the energy. "I'm better equipped then you, bird." He bousted. "Find someone else to make out with you, or I'll kill you." Patrick learned from the assault. His plasma wouldn't do any good. He shot anyway. To block against the pebbles. The bullets exploded on impact. Patrick toutched the cross. "I have achieved control of bogh body and soul!" Vego decleared. "Nobody can defeat me!" Patrick drew slightly closer. But then the vampire broke into those pieces. They became a projectile attack all by itself. Patrick did his best to dodge. Amy was furious. She bombarded with beams the moment he appeared. Patrick would've told her to let be. It was useless. Vego shot another round of pebble bullets. Patrick was prepared this time. He'd decided to try something else then magic or energy. Vego still was about taunting his girlfriend. Patrick blocked the pebbles with plasma. They could make things nasty otherwise. Vego turned. Patrick nailed with the clipper. "Clever." The bounty-hunter admitted. "But not enough." Patrick retrived his weapon. It worked. That was the point. Vego broke into his projectile attack. "Leave him to me!" Patrick told the harpy. "You're just waisting energy." Amy didn't seemed convinced. That would have to wait. Vego was back. HE fired pebbles about the area. Patrick ran. He shot them away. He charged the clipper with more man-beast plasma. The shock made the cyborg stagger. Then he broke into pieces. Patrick ran. The cyborg wouldn't leave him alone. "There is quite a price out for you." Vego said. He was still shooting his bullets. This time Patrick wasn't fast enough. Although he managed to block the pebbles, Vego shattered into his projectile attack. Then he reformed somewhere else. Amy seemed to have gathered. She would shoot feathers toward the pebbles. Patrick shot with his pistol. There still where some blizzard bubbles left in there. The attack made the cyborg stand in place. Patrick howled. But then the bounty-hunter broke free. "I am of ancient blood." He stated. "You can never defeat me." Patrick didn't answer. HE was busy dodging the breakup attack. Vego came back. He shot other pebbles toward his girlfriend. "Get away from there!" He shouted. Vego turned, just in time to get hit by the boomerang clipper. Patrick had fused with plasma. He wondered if he might do the same with other bullets. No time to think further about the matter. Vego broke into projectiles. Patrick had to dodge him piece by piece. Some of them went home. Patrick was struck to the ground. Vego was laughing. Patrick retained his beast form. The pebbles went home. Patrick was shot into the air. Somehow he still managed to absorb the energy. He never could breach the ancient seal. He was not the chosen of his generation. Stil, he'd been high up on the ranking among his tribe. The bounty-hunter came breaking forward. Patrick dodged this time. Amy tried to destroy the pieces with lightning. Vego reformed. HE shot pebbles from within his arm gun. Patrick really tried to fuse this time. The bubble shot him through the chest. The armour actually cracked. Though not enough. The cyborg might be so arrogant that he didn't wear any heavy shielding. Patrick made the sign of the cross. The bounty-hunter froze. But this time to break into multiple pieces. Patrick got struck repeatedly. He praied no bones got broken. Vego eventually reappeared. "This is the end!" HE shouted. The cyborg then launched missiles from within his armour. They came homing in. Patrick answered with the clipper. The rockets exploded. But it was already to late. Vego broke into pieces. He came dashing across the rooftop. Patrick just barely managed to ddodge the offensive. Vego was back. He fired pebble bullets or homing rockets. Amy was in the leed. She released feathers or strong winds to deflect or even destroy the objective. Patrick used the opportunity to throw another fused clipper. Vego got shot. The impact made him stagger. Blood stained the white. "You're going to pay for that, beast!" He then came breaking in an onslaught. Patrick got struck hard. The cyborg was back in action. Vego released other bullets from his arm cannon while the shoulder launched new missiles. Patrick threw garlic about. The enemy broke into pieces. Patrick dodged as he prepared the attack. Vego had arrived. Patrick felt like playing in an old game. Amy came flying in. She made lightning strike. Patrick shot the blizzard bubble. The shot went home. The cyborg broke into pieces. Patrick was slammed hard against the floor. Wind and snow obscured his objective. Patrick struggled back up. HE felt beaten. Not enough to give in. Vego also looked a little shaky. He then came flying forward. Patrick dodged the fragments. Vego was a vampire. There had to be something he could do about the matter. Patrick was about to run in when hit by pebbles. They exploded on impact. He got hit hard. "Ready to give in yet?" Vego asked. Patrick struggled back up. Amy lifted him away as the enemy again shattered into pieces. "Let me go." HE told her. "Let me take him." Amy didn't answer. But she let go. Vego was back. HE was launching rockets. Patrick shot him down. The fused clipper seemed to strike through the enemy. Patrick ran forward. "This is for Amy." He growled. "She isn't a prostitute." Vego stared him in the eyes. "She isn't." He agreed. "She is Dracula's bride." Patrick howled. Then he struck his claws through the broken armour. Vego fell into a heap. He watched him burn into ashes. The battle was over. Patrick picked those crystals left behind. Amy landed beside as he had a doze of the healing potion. She didn't seem all that taken with what Vego called her. She waited until he was finished reloading. "What do we do now?" She asked. Patrick shrugged. "I guess we have to continue." Amy nodded. Patrick reholstered his pistol. Dracula was somewhere within the castle. Patrick inspected the item Vego left behind. It was those pebble bullets. They might come in handy. Patrick put it upon his belt. He then went over to the elevator. Amy was close behind.

Amy went into the elevator. She thought of what might be waiting. Patrick really had been so wonderful. He'd slaughtered all who opposed him. Her boyfriend stood at the controls. He seemed somewhat confused. Amy smiled. He didn't knew about the installation. Then of course. It had been built after he left. Amy wondered why he did so. He could've taken on the challenge. Patrick toutched some controls. That was a mistake. The floor went open. Only the eight survailance platforms remained. One of them where beside the controls. "I think that was the wrong one." Patrick muttered. Amy giggled. Oh so he was right. There where spikes at the bottom of the shaft. She would tell him so when the light went off. Only the emergency illumination was still active. Amy could watch on what happened. A tall winged being emerged from the depth. "You defeated my companion." The horned being decleared. "I will claim the price." Amy heard of him just yesterday. Raglian was feared and glorified among his comrades. She dismissed the matter. The bounty-hunter came dashing forward. He fired a combined attack from bogh shoulder and arm cannon. The lasers made the platform on which he stood to collapse. Patrick jumped just as he swung his lightsaber. The battle had begun.

Castle center, castle in Barnsdall. The 7th. Of January 2099 A.D.
This had to end. They had come to close. The ceremony was over. The emergence was complete. No matter. It was still to early. He would have to prepare for the absorbation rite. That would still take considerable time. He was not ready yet. The fairy refused to grant him his wish. The chosen one had not achieved her potencial. He would have to break down her defences. But that would have to be done face to face. There was nothing he could do at the moment. His new power was untested. That was to be seen. He would crush those who opposed his will. There would be no escape. But not now. Not here. He would choose his own battleground. That almost made him laugh. He really had his own grounds. He dismissed the matter. "Awake." He demanded. The servant who had been with him, finally had to fullfill his purpose. "As you say, my lord." He gave him the command. The servant left his presence. That was good. That was as it should be. He would not be there to watch the outcome. It was not important. Not really. He retrived his treasure. Then he cast the spell. This had been an exelent viewpoint. He brought himself away. They should meet. Soon, very soon.

Heinrich went out upon the walkway. Beyond the blizzard, he noticed the castle center was below. Torah was somewhere ahead. He heard the sounds of battle. She was fighting the mammals. They came in a wave. Heinrich brandished the stopwatch. Torah smiled. She then threw garlic at them. From within one room, came a pack of armed lizard men. They emitted poison mist. The sorceress dodged. Heinrich had the sword in hand. HE came running forward. At least in this place, the floor was made of solid stone. "Orbs of sorcery!" Torah shot with her magic power. She seemed so fragile when fighting against the huge muscular monsters. They where armed and armoured. The sorceress fought with fierce determination. Heinrich reached the battleground. The sword blocked their attack. He threw holy water. The liquid made flames erupt. He ducked beneath the poison mist. Heinrich threw axes into the air. He focused. Lightning struck on impact. Torah was at his side. Together, they continued the battle. "Get back!" Torah suddenly shouted. Heinrich didn't understand. The spiked fence came speeding forward. It might kill in one shot. Heinrich barely dodge the trap. The lizards where on the other side. Torah placed nitro in front. Heinrich recognized the product. He went backward. The fence got blasted. The lizards came dashing forward. Heinrich threw multiple homing crosses. Then he got lifted into the air. The harpy tried to squeeze the life out of him. Heinrich grasped the crucifix. He stamped. The half-woman/part bird let go of him emmediately. He landed back down. Other harpies had arrived. Torah was fighting to keep them at bay. The lizards where firing their bow-and-arrows. Heinrich used the stopwatch. It would only last for 5 seconds. It would be enough. Heinrich reached his friend in time to knock out the arrows. The time was over. The harpies released multiple pointed feathers. They came flying in. Heinrich cut through her chest. The woman fell bleeding upon the snow. It made him think of Snowhite. That was an ancient fairytale. He dismissed the matter. Torah was fighting the monsters hand-to-hand. The iron-smash cut through their lines. Heinrich threw holy water toward the mammals. They where a constant threat. Then something else happened. A square section of the floor moved aside. Heinrich watched into the ditch. The pit was lined with spikes. He felt his blood turn cold. It was a terrible trap. Torah had managed to jump across. She fought with such fierce determination that he almost got envious. Heinrich smiled. Though it never reached his eyes. This was serious. He managed to jump across. Here, there where no more windows. Instead, there where something else. A part of the wall crumbled as skeletons arrived. They threw bones into the air. Heinrich threw daggers at them. The attack made them collapse. They never where that strong. Heinrich knocked the candles. Beside the crystals or money, he also found other cards. He thought to remember that Reinhardt Schneider spoke against using them. But why he couldn't remember. He put the matter aside. Heinrich reached up to his companion. The lizards had become defeated. Some bats and harpies where still about. Heinrich cleaned of his blade. Then he put it aside. He cracked with the whip. The mammals came in a wave. "Rainbow flame!" Torah burned them into ashes. It surprised him she'd began using magic again. Heinrich would speak with her about the matter. That would have to wait. The harpies came from difficult angles. He whipped the first into oblivion. The second picked him up. Heinrich summoned more power. The huge flaming cross appeared behind his back. The enemy got burned into ashes. He landed back down. Torah was trying to open the door. Heinrich went to have a closer look. "Let me handle it." He said when noticing the symbol. Torah looked up at him. "I still have some Nitro and Mandragora." She said. "I found them in a hidden room at the other side of the wall." Heinrich shook his head. "It wouldn't work." He explained. "This door is sealed with powerful magic. He used the moon card. A beam of moonlight shone down. Although the storm made it impossible to get a clear sight of the sky. The door was opened. They went inside. The room had the same elegance and atmosphere as such they experienced within the castle center. Or even within the villa mansion. There was another door leading into the castle. Through the high windows, they got an exelent view of the courtyard. It seemed alright. But then the door was opened. A frightened villager came running in. Heinrich recognised one of those taken from Oldhill village. He slammed the door shut. He turned to face them when Torah came dashing forward. Heinrich was taken aback. But then he realized. The man cast no shadow. Only vampires had that effect. The man slashed with the claws extended. Torah got struck down. He bent down to bite into her neck. Heinrich whipped him before anything could happen. The vampire lept high up into the shadow. The light was dim within the chamber. Torah lit one of her magic orbs. That saved his life. The vampire had landed behind. The beast delivered several claw-swipes. Heinrich spun, the whip went along. The morning-star whip caused several bruishes on his body. Torah came running in. The vampire sent her upon the floor with a swooping spin kick. Even Heinrich got forced backward. The undead made a back-flip. He really was quite the acrobat. Then he came forward with a series of punches. They went high, low, high , low and in between. Heinrich threw holy water. The vampire burst into flames. Somehow he managed to hold through. Heinrich got struck hard before he could repeat the offensive. Then Torah was there. She stamped with the cross. The undead howled with pain. Heinrich threw multiple daggers. The vampire got impaled repeatedly. He fell forward. Torah was there to behead him. The corpse burned into ashes. "May he be restored with glory on resurrection day." Heinrich mumbled. He really hoped the man's soul might be saved from evil. Torah was at the other door. This wasn't sealed. They went back out into the storm.

Torah had the iron-smash ready. The snow made it difficult to spot the surroundings. This was even worse then the smoke downstairs. She shed the matter. The harpies where coming in. Heinrich was at her side. He dragged her back as the stone came crashing down. The boulder blocked their progress. Torah decided she would worry about it later. The harpies where still about. Heinrich was using his stopwatch to might slow them down. That didn't seem to work. Perhaps they where out of reach. Whatever the case, they came flying from difficult angles. Torah managed to strike with the iron-smash. The woman burst into flames. Heinrich whipped away another harpy. The third threw feathers at them as bats came in swarms. Heinrich made the crystal explode. That wouldn't be enough. "Fountain of fire!" The fireballs got shot all about the area. Somehow Heinrich wasn't toutched. He was investigating the boulder. Torah knew what to do. She placed down another set of Nitro. "Get down!" She shouted. Heinrich did as she told. The rock was cleared away. "Why don't you just give up!" The harpies shouted. They where back. The skeleton threw bones into the air. Bats came from every direction. Heinrich was lifted into the air by the flock of women. Torah should've known they where interested. He would use the stopwatch to get away. Torah was hit by bones. She mouned with pain. The bones felt like nails stabing through her body. The bats landed upon her body. "Never!" Torah shouted. She stamped with the cross. The mammals burned. She then threw stakes at the skeleton. Heinrich threw tripled flaming crosses. The harpy who released feathers, got shot. She used the opportunity to colect crystals. Torah then went forward. Another skeleton kept throwing bones. Torah was grateful they never came in packs. The stake finished off the battle. Heinrich was still busy with the harpies. The lizard man fired arrows. HE was alone. Torah would strike him away. She ducked underneath his arrows. Then she noticed. Torah pulled back. The spiked metal fence came forward. The way was blocked. Torah almost screamed with frustration. Then she got picked by a harpy. "Don't mind about it dear." She said in her ear. "You got other things to worry about." She squeezed her tighter. Torah felt the air got pressed from her lungs. There was nothing she could do. Torah struggled to break free. Then the cross toutched her naked skin. The harpy howled. Torah got released. She curled into a tight ball. Heinrich was able to catch her. "This isn't over." He said. "Right?" Heinrich let go. Torah smirked. "Of course not." She went to place more Nitro. The fence got shot. The lizard man fired other arrows. "Orbs of sorcery!" He got no chanse. The homing balls shot him to pieces. They picked some items. Torah felt like they'd been going on forever. She threw roses toward the bats. The bone-man threw bones at her. Heinrich ended the conflict with another dagger. "Rainbow flame!" The mammals got fried. She picked the crystals. There was another skeleton. Torah threw garlic at him before it could even move. The bone-man exploded, throwing bones all over the place. That wasn't really a problem. Torah managed to get out of reach. She heard another clicking sound. The pit got revealed. The skeleton threw bones. He was at the other side of the opening. Torah pulled back. Heinrich had defeated the other harpies. He came running forward. "Watch out!" Torah shouted. He discovered the spiked-lined trap in time. The bone-man threw more bones. Heinrich got struck. The vampire hunter groaned. Then he threw the crystal. The enemy got shot. He exploded on impact. Torah gathered. She got above. Torah landed just as another wave of mammals came flying down. The roses made them explode. The bone head then shot more fireballs. "Frozen flash!" Torah blocked the onslaught just in time. Heinrich got beyond the abyss. He swung with the whip. He even blocked the heavy flames. There where other bats. Torah got busy. She threw garlic into the air. She fused with magic. The bats froze over. The lizard men came through other French windows. They fired with the bow-and-arrows. Torah went in close. They let go of their weapons as they preduced swords or clubs. Torah ducked. "Orbs of sorcery!" Those closest got shot. She lept. The iron-smash beheaded the monsters. Bats landed upon her body. "Dance of the Nutcrackers!" Torah danced with the fairies. Even the mammals got frozen. Heinrich whipped the bone head into oblivion. He came running toward her. Torah was to involved to really keep track of his mobility. The lizard men emitted poison mist. Torah felt sick. She would have to take an antidote very soon. She smashed all those who came to close. Then Torah pulled off the backpack. She still got some samples left. She was able to take the doze without much trouble. Heinrich was there. He forced the monsters backward. He struck the skeleton down. Torah gathered. She put the bag back on her shoulders. "Orbs of sorcery!" The globules never homed in on the Belmont. That was strange. It almost was like the magic knew he was a friend. Together they defeated the final enemies. Torah went to open the door. Even this was marked with a symbol. Heinrich came to inspect the marking. "Carrie Fernandez said, that when using those cards." Torah said. "You shorten your life with one day or night. Depending on which type you use." Heinrich made the sign of the cross. "Be the will of the Lord." He stated. "That's all I have." Heinrich then stated. "It's in my blood." Torah wasn't quite sure. Then he used the card. A beam of bright sunlight shone through. Torah felt glad by the mere sight. They'd been so overworked that such simple matters had been pushed aside. Torah opened the door. The hunters went inside. The room was dark. Suddenly, Torah felt uneasy. There was something wrong about this place. Torah couldn't shake the matter. She could feel it.

Tower of science, castle in Barnsdall. The 7th. Of January 2099 A.D.
Patrick jumped another platform. The bounty-hunter kept chasing him. He would come from behind to shatter each and every platform. He could block all types of plasma or sub-weapon attack with his blasters or lightsaber. Amy had tried to strike with lightning. The cyborg's armour was ordmented. At least in the sence it could absorb her magic. Patrick had to try something or risc running out of space. Though it didn't seem very likely. Higher and higher platforms would always appear. Patrick decided he better quick trust the New Order's technology and better start doing something. He'd reloaded with flame discs when the pebble bullets failed to have an impact. He doubted the flames would have any effect either. Patrick made the sign of the cross. The gesture made the demon mad. HE came in with a sudden dash. Patrick let him have the shock bomb. The electrified explosion threw him backward. Patrick tried to blast with plasma. The cyborg gathered. He fired another round from the shoulder and arm cannon. The laser shot the platform. Patrick barely jumped in time. He turned around. Raglian always appeared from behind. Patrick wished he got his own sword. That was no option. The devil came in while chopping his lightsaber. Patrick jumped. There always where eight platforms at each level. The bounty-hunter released dual bat-shaped probes. Amy shot with feathers. That would handle the robots. Raglian came in while twirling his weapon. He let him have the flame disc. The enflamatory ammunition got home. The flames exploded on impact. The devil answered with other probes. Amy made lightning strike. Patrick shot down with plasma. The most important was to stay in motion. The cyborg came flying in with the saber pointed downward. Patrick jumped. The man, or whatever he was, was good. No questions asked. He managed to dodge with plasma. The platform began shaking. He jumped. Raglian fired his cannon. Patrick made another jump. Then he threw the bomb. The electrified explosion sent the bounty-hunter sprawling down. Patrick hoped that would be the last. No chanse. Raglian came up from the abyss. HE released probes while swinging his weapon wildly. Patrick cursed. That was the last thing he needed. Amy continued to counter against the probes. That was all she could do. The enemy was approaching. Patrick noticed something particular. The armour had been exposed. Blood stained the black and scarlet steel plates. That was no victory. The enemy kept chasing. When he came the next time, Patrick threw roses about. Raglian blocked with his lightsaber. Was this like something of Star Wars? Patrick dismissed the matter. That was something which had interested his father who collected old mechanics. The bounty-hunter shot with his combo laser attack. Patrick reached the next platform. Then he fired. The flame disc absorbed the enemy. Or so it looked. Raglian then reappeared. Patrick hadn't been mistaken. He'd cracked the villian's suit. The bounty-hunters where all so surtain. That might be why they kept so light armour. The battle wasn't over. Raglian let loose a swarm of bat-probes. They fired tiny lasers from within the core or would otherwise explode. Amy shot feathers. Patrick released plasma outward. Then Raglian answered. He made stronger, more powerful lightning bolts, to blast from his very fingertips. Patrick felt his hair stand on end. Thank God he managed the jump. The combo laser attack made the platform shiver. Patrick jumped. He barely managed. Patrick knew it would be this shot or nothing. HE hadn't time enough to reload his pistol. Raglian came with a sudden swipe. Then he fired lightning. Patrick blocked with illuminating his body. Patrick managed the leap. Then he threw another shock bomb. It really was nothing compared with Raglian's evil force. But it worked. That was what mattered. Raglian fired his powerful lightning bolt. Patrick wondered if this was how Alucard felt when fighting Galamoth in 1797. That he might never knew. This was worse then anything else he ever did. Patrick was afraid of hights. The jumping over the abyss was the worst of all. Raglian came dashing in while releasing probes. Amy made lightning strike. She couldn't use the whirlwind attack. That only would make things even more difficult. That they discovered before. Raglian kept chopping with his lightsaber. The demon shot with his cannon or blasted electricity. Patrick let even higher. He fired his shotgun. The flame disc hit the cyborg hard. Blood was dripping from his armour. Raglian howled with frustration and hatred. He made lightning to strike from above. Patrick almost got hit. He knew that one score would end the battle. The enemy came in for another attack. Patrick blocked with plasma. For a moment they struggled for superiority. Then Patrick lept. Raglian was approaching. Patrick hurled his last shock bomb. The explosion was awesome. The devil lost his lightsaber. The armour had become shattered. Blood and organs, secured behind syntetic flesh, was revealed. Patrick suddenly wished to throw up. The beast was so grotesque. Then He came flying in. "I will not let you kill me." HE snarled. Patrick made no answer. Raglian picked him off of the platform. "Your life is over." Electricity sparked his fingertips as Raglian began charging up his arm cannon. "That rest with the Lord." Patrick stated. Then he put the Host into the demon's mouth. That was all he got left. But it was worth the effort. Raglian burst into flame. The rotting carcass disappeared into the abyss. Patrick closed his eyes. Strange though, it felt so easy. But somehow, he would die a happy man. Only because he banished the demon. Patrick fell forever. He wasn't afraid anymore. PAtrick was finally at peace.

Amy flapped her wings. She wouldn't let him fall. She came down to fetch him. Her boyfriend opened his eyes. "So there you are." He smiled. Amy beamed. He always was so beautiful when smiling. She carried him skyward. Amy had decided she would do everything for him. She really ment everything. The power which she'd achieved suddenly didn't mean anything. Nothing when he was careing about her. She would love him forever. "I found this." She gave him another type of bullets. They where like tiny batteries. Patrick reloaded his shotgun. Amy wished he should do that. She wished to know what they might do. Amy was sure they would make him even more powerful. There was nothing which Patrick couldn't do. HE would defeat anyone or anything which stood in his way. She kept flapping her wings. They where reaching the top. The elevator was really high. Amy wondered what was up there. She never had been within this section of the castle. The ceiling was opening up. Amy knew it would. The floor closed. She let go of her boyfriend. She landed. This wasn't as it should be. Everything was made of metal. They'd reached the central control-computer. Amy was suddenly afraid. This wasn't how it was ment to be. They would be terminated.

Castle wall, castle in Barnsdall. The 7th. Of January 2099 A.D.
Heinrich grew pale. "There." He said. "Do you hear that." Torah looked at him like if he'd grown crazy. That he couldn't "Louder. Louder." Heinrich almost screamed. "Don't you hear it!? It's his accursed heart!" Torah looked like she wished to speak. Then even the sorceress grew white. "Yes." She said. "I hear it too." For a moment, they just kept staring at each other. "It's the tale-teling heart." He said in a voice which was a mere whisper. Heinrich reached for the crucifix. "May You protect us from what's evil." Torah said. She really was afraid. As was he. Heinrich wished there just was something he could do. This was driving him mad. Or so it felt. Then something really happened. The chamber wasn't dark anymore. The chamber got illuminated by a bright silver light. At first Heinrich thought an angel had descended from Heaven. The blazing illuminated figure was clad in a full suit of shining silver armour. "This isn't real." Torah stated. He still could hear the heart beating. It was his heart, he finally figured. It was the heart of the silver warrior. "The young master has decreed." The armoured angel decleared. "That nobody may pass." He suddenly held a blade of sunlight within his hand. "Begone. Or you will be banished from this earth." The silver warrior began walking forward as he summoned a whip of starlight. "Opal sun!" Torah spread her arms. Nothing happened. The shining knight in armour struck with his sword. The blade shone bright with sunlight. Heinrich wished he just could wake up from this aweful nightmare. Such a being shouldn't been allowed to exist. The elegant fighter seemed to notice the girl's attempt. "It is forbidden." The armoured angel kept marching forward. "The witches and wizards shall be cast out." The armoured being decleared. Heinrich shook his head. This was like his own faight had backfired. He tried to gather. To see beyond the obvious. "Behind blue eyes! Long shot!" Torah stil tried to cast a magic spell. Heinrich broke out from his reverie. What he'd seen, was remarkable. The silver warrior really was an angel. He could undo all magic powers. Or at least banish them from his presence. None of their powers, whatever they may try, would be disregarded. Not entirely though. Heinrich made the sign of the cross. The silver warrior came marching toward his friend. He then struck with the starlight whip. Heinrich would guess his own weapon might look like that if he would bring out its potencial. It would have to wait. Not all who had fallen, had turned to the dark side. The shining angel struck. Torah was able to block with the iron-smash. She threw stakes at him. The attack made him stagger. Though it was only in surprise. The offense made the silver warrior beam with anger. "Do you not realize who I am?" The shine went even brighter. "I may banish you into Hell!" Heinrich bit together. Nothing within his arsenal might work. Then he remembered. Something which his father told him and Alicia Schneider long ago. About Gabriel Belmont. Who faced the evils in 1047. Heinrich didn't have the silver knife. That was a weapon long lost in the battle against Dracula. But he got other things. While the angel went for his companion, Heinrich moved from behind. This was no dual. His entire species was at war. "In the name of Jesus Christ!" He then shouted. Heinrich threw holy water toward the warrior. The vials shattered. The fallen angel got doused in holy flame. "Stronger we are in the name of the Lord!" Heinrich shouted. The silver warrior turned on him. "You have fallen, crusader. To the dark." Heinrich made no comment. Instead he had unsheated his blade. "Be the will of the Lord in Heaven." His bloodline mystics wouldn't aid him in this battle. Heinrich could only pray for the grace of God. The silver warrior struck with bogh weapons. Heinrich blocked. The sword was a gift of Father Chrismuss. The whip had been made for Soleyou Belmont in 1592. The tactic worked. Heinrich attacked. The angel blocked. Torah then struck with the ring-smash. The angel staggered backward. Heinrich threw the dagger. The knife went through one of the armour's openings. The angel's blood stained the area. The light didn't subside. Then the little sorceress got struck to the ground. Heinrich ran forward. The silver warrior attacked. He was forced back. The angel continued the battle. The starlight whip and sunlight sword was powerful weapons. Heinrich was grateful he got the laurels. He was even more grateful that they actually worked. Their power was that of nature. Torah managed to get back up. Heinrich managed to block this time. The silver warrior was pulled back. He blocked each attack. The angel was beaming with rage. "You shall regret for having defaied me." Heinrich bit together. The heart was still beating. Torah threw garlic at him. She followed up with roses. Their natural power couldn't be repeled. The explosion shook the chamber. Heinrich came forward. He couldn't use the stopwatch. He threw the axe and the boomerang. The angel was able to block. Heinrich came running behind. He almost guessed it would be like that. "Have this!" He shouted. "This is for Gabriel!" The crystal exploded. The impact sent him sprawling. The angel lifted the blade. He'd been able to gather. "You shall be banished." The silver warrior decleared. "Not if I can do anything about it!" Torah shouted. She came running from behind while slashing the iron-smash. The angel turned. But it was to late. The razor-rings struck through his shining armour. Heinrich got up from the floor. He struck with the whip. Heinrich had stamped the crucifix upon the weapon. The holy combo gave the angel a shock. Then he struck anew. This time neither of them could block. Torah was sent flying backward. Heinrich was forced on his knees. "So it ends." The angel dictated. "You should known better then to oppose the kingdom of Heaven." That couldn't be true. Heinrich faught to protect his people from vampires and demons. He held up his crucifix. "Father!" He shouted. "Into Your hands I commit my spirit!" Gold made the whip burn with a silvery light. He didn't understand. The silver armour got taken aback. "You cannot do this!" He boomed. "I who have done all this in your name!" Heinrich didn't understand. HE struck with the whip. Just then, Torah stamped with the cross. They bogh got shaken by the sudden shining explosion of light. Then the blaze subsided. Heinrich felt something strange awaken within his heart. He was back on foot, sword in hand. The shining glow had all disappeared. The silver warrior was still there. But now he was only another fallen angel. Heinrich almost felt pitty on him. Then the silver warrior began laughing. "You shall not defeat me!" HE finally figured the angel was mad. That was the only reason for him to act like this. "The time is over!" A black beam suddenly struck down into the silver warrior. Although he was still marvellous to behold, there was black within. Heinrich felt suddenly afraid. "Be the will of God." He stated, making the sign of the cross. "Pearls of heat!" Torah was back. She fired her magic balls into the enemy. He was able to block the attack. He still could resist most of their mysticism. Heinrich soon discovered. The armour-clad angel struck with bogh whip and sword. The starlight didn't fade. But the sunlight blade had become a sword of moonlight. Heinrich withdrew. He fused with spirit. The whip became a bar of gold. That he couldn't block. Not in the long run. "Hand of fate!" Torah released her massive shining attack. The fallen angel got struck backward. The whip made her scream. Heinrich made his crystal explode. That was according to the ancient lore. Heinrich got no fairies. Nor had he the mother's flower. The battle continued. "Dance of the Nutcrackers!" Torah was dancing. She actually was quite good. The fairies came dashing in with seeming disdain for their own lives. The silver warrior froze in place. HE broke free. Heinrich got struck. The laurels healed his damages. The dark was like the waight of a dead hand pressing on his heart. Such was the power of darkness. Heinrich knew that. He felt the same when fighting the forsaken wanderers. "Orbs of sorcery! Zapphire shards!" Torah still tried to blast with her magic. The angel blocked each and every attack. Heinrich came from the other side. He threw the gold knife. The dagger was fused with spirit. The blade got through his protection. The fallen angel lept. HE flapped with his wings. The silver warrior landed in front. He struck with his blade. Heinrich was struck to the floor. The intensity of the attack gave no room for a counterstrike. He turned on Torah. "Golden globe!" She shot while retreating. Heinrich finally retrived his own blade. He fused with the power of earth. The ordinary blade became morphed into the weapon of the ancient species. Heinrich roared while wielding the fairy sword. He struck the angel through the back. The armour shattered. The silver warrior cried out in madness and horror. Torah threw flowers into the air. "Rosa!" The silver warrior shouted. "Forgive me of my sins!" Then the angel was no more. Heinrich wondered what he ment with that last statement. It gave no meaning. Torah knocked some candles. The air had become so cold. The huge windows had shattered. The wind was whirling in. Heinrich dismissed the matter. He went to open the door. Even this was marked with the symbol. Heinrich used the sun card. A beam of light shone upon the area. The door was open. They went back out into the ongoing blizzard storm.

Tower of science, castle in Barnsdall. The 7th. Of January 2099 A.D.
Patrick had a look around. The tower was circle in shape. Three other exits went in opposite directions. The light came from multiple small orbs or glouble of crystals. Patrick made the sign of the cross. He didn't like this place. It wasn't like anything else he'd experienced. The three large centered computer consoles was somehow connected. He could feel it through his strange bloodline. Upon making the gesture, the peaceful sceen turned rigid. The alarm call. Patrick pulled out his pistol. Something wasn't right. "This is the central control-computer!" Amy shouted. "I think it control all the robots within the castle!" As if to prove it, groups of battle-droids came running in. They opened fire. Patrick illuminated his body with plasma. The shots went throughout the chamber. He blinked. The computer wasn't even toutched. The stupid droids got shot down by their own objective. Then the security system became activated. The defence-mechanism consisted of a full circle of turrets. They where concentrated around the large central crystal. They shot with multiple bullets, like an automated gun. Patrick was able to survive the onslaught. Some other turrets began throwing grenades, spewing flames or heavy steam. While other shot lasers at him. Patrick was forced to run in circles. They couldn't bring all to bare at him at the same time. He released the blizzard bubble at the nearest computer screen. The shot was deterred. Patrick began to feel more then a little nervous. He couldn't break through to the machine. If only there was a way to lower the energy-shield. He fired plasma toward the twelve turrets. The metal melted. The system immediately began to repair the mechanism. Patrick toutched the cross. He was beside one of the six smaller crystals. Without mercy, he stabbed his claw into the construction. He felt the surge of energy. The force-field altered colour before retaining its statistics. Patrick thought he might have an idea. His speculations where cut short. There came another squad of battle-droids. Patrick released plasma before they could fire a shot. "Strike the crystals!" HE told his girlfriend. "That might be the only way!" Amy made no questions. She instead lifted into the air. Patrick almost got fried by the flame-throwers. He shot them away before they could fire even more devastating objects. Amy made tripled bolts of lightning strike. Patrick also threw stakes. He fused with man-beast force. The crystal he'd damaged before, got nailed. The assault didn't seem to work. The turrets had become reconstructed. They threw grenades or fired lasers. Patrick was able to turn them against the battle-droids. He came up from behind. Those abroad, fired multiple bullets. Patrick dodged. The blasted mechanism destroyed itself. He renewed the efforts against the crystals. Three other turrets fired more bullets. Patrick almost got shot down. Amy lifted him out of reach. "I managed to destroy one of them." She told. Patrick toutched her cheek. "Just continue." He told. She let him back down. Patrick went on the offensive. He threw garlic toward the robots. He clawed into the crystal. The item shattered. Patrick cheered. He held the crucifix high. Together, they'd managed to defeat three gemstones. It was no real victory. The turrets kept on the assault. They bombarded with bullets, flames, grenades or lasers. Patrick threw flowers all over the place. He shot with a shining cross-shaped beam forward into another of the crystals. Amy almost got killed by the grenades. Patrick snarled. He tore the machine into pieces. The harpy made a hurricane blast into the crystal. Patrick turned. He fired the pistol. The ray battery fired a destructive laser beam into the crystal. The jewel exploded. Patrick howled. The fift gem got shot. There only was one left of them. This time super battle-droids came running into the chamber. Patrick bit his lip. He wished to have the sword in hand. That was impossible. Patrick ran. He made the machines and the turrets defeat eachother. Amy made lightning strike. The crystal exploded. Patrick ran for the nearest machine. The turrets released heavy steam. Patrick was forced to retreat. He threw flowers at them. The roses exploded. The computer released horizontal sparks through concealed openings. Patrick fused his body with plasma. Then he shot with the ray batteries. The laser force cut through the armoured data. The super battle-droids shot at him while running for the position. Just then the turrets opened fire. Patrick jumped back. The machine released other electric currents. "Amy!" He shouted. "Help me!" The harpy came in. She released a heavy boulder down on the machine. The screen was destroyed. No matter, the computer still worked. Patrick shot a blizzard bubble. The data was closing down. Then it reacted. Patrick ran. He shot a series of pebble bullets toward the second part of the computer. Amy made lightning strike that he'd already damaged. The turrets released heavy steam. Patrick threw garlic at them. The battle-droids opened fire. He blasted them into oblivion. Those who avoided the flowers, withdrew right into the rain of bullets. The third computer console released horizontal currents. Patrick almost got struck. The ray battery went through its defences. Patrick reloaded the shotgun. He was able to colect some crystals. Then the turrets shot lasers at him. Patrick ran in circles. Amy released multiple feathers. The initial data was spewing spark and steam about. Patrick released a second round of blizzard bubbles. That made the turrets freeze over. Patrick then shot pebbles toward the second computer. The bullets would explode upon impact. Alarms sounded throughout the area. Amy came flying for his location. She shot feathers into the machine's openings. Patrick fired his ray batteries. The second computer got hit. Then he threw another cross-shaped blast toward the robots. He grasped the crystals. Some became rounds of ammunition. Amy made lightning strike. The first of the computers seemed ready to go. Patrick let it have the remaining pebbles. The data exploded from within. A metal wall went down to shield the destroyed mechanism. He got struck by the flame. Patrick barely survived. Amy picked him off the area. The huge crystal released a heavy blast upon the battlefield. He had a doze of the red medicine. The liquid healed him. Amy let him go. "Beware of the security crystal." She warned. "I will." The thing might destroy him in one shot. The battle continued. The two remaining parts of the control-computer summoned other robots. Patrick was forced to run in circles. He threw stakes toward the turrets. Their own grenades made the droids blast to pieces. The system wasn't really that clever. He rammed the third computer with a blizzard bubble. Amy threw another rock into the other data. Although the screen got shot, the fight wasn't over. His girlfriend almost got trapped by the electric currents. The security crystal released another heavy blast of energy. Patrick hid within a corridor. Then he stormed back out. He fired pebble bullets toward the third portion of the automated enemy. Patrick howled as the load went home. Amy had been able to survive. She shot multiple feathers. The impact caused ceveral tiny explosions. Patrick used the opportunity to reload the pistol. He shot a series of blizzard bubbles toward that computer she was currently fighting. The engine froze all over. The ray batteries made it explode. Another metal plate moved into place. The crystal might've killed him. Amy was able to save him. The destroyer-droids where unfolding. "Keep them busy!" He told the harpy. Amy didn't answer. She went into battle. The third machine released other sparks. Patrick fused with plasma. He got through the onslaught. He shot other pebbles. They exploded. The turrets had become reactivated. They released heavy steam or roaring flames. Patrick was forced backward. He threw roses at them. Other portions of the security was throwing bullets or even explosives. Patrick lept across. HE was able to make them turn against each other. Then he let them have the stakes. HE fused with his power. The machines exploded. The light kept coming and going. Clearly the computer was the main source of the tower's mechanism. Patrick shot with the ray batteries. The screen got blasted away. Amy picked him off just as the crystal released more energy. "The goblins are repairing the crystals!" She shouted over the confusion. "Just a little longer!" Patrick pleaded. Amy looked concearned. She let him go. Patrick stormed toward the computer. He fused when the blasted thing charged its electric defence. HE got through. The blizzard bubble would chill the blasted data. Patrick pulled the trigger. The frost even made him to retreat. Patrick fired another ray battery before retreating. Amy came flapping for him. The destroyer-droids where on the offensive. Patrick threw roses at them. They bounched off of their shield. Patrick howled. The central control-computer released other sparks. Patrick turned. HE really could use some help. Amy made lightning strike before she was forced away. The destroyers became wheels as they chased her. Patrick threw garlic toward the turrets. Then he fired his last bullet. The pebbles made the final computer to explode. The third metal gate moved into place. Then something else happened. The floor gave way. Patrick fell back down the elevator shaft.

Amy was really nervous. The destroyer-droids where on the move. They kept chasing her. "Stop him!" The command was so sudden she simply obayed. She was standing beside the controls. She pulled the buttons before she even realized what she was doing. Amy watched as the platform moved aside. The rubble, along with the robots, fell down into the abyss. Patrick was also dropping. She went down into the shaft. Amy got to save him. The opening closed above. Amy let herself fall. There he was. She spread her wings. Amy was able to take him. "What happened?" Her boyfriend asked. Patrick really was quite confused. "I don't know." She lied. Although Amy knew what she did. She didn't know why she'd acted that way. It was like the power within had kicked in the command. She tried to shake it. "I guess the computer was programmed to activate the mechanism if something happened." She flew back up to what she thought was their opening. Still holding him tight, she pressed the control. The door opened. Amy was really grateful. They went back out on the rooftop. Patrick had a look around while loading his weapon. He looked at the stairways. Amy guessed that was the only solution. The elevator opened. Amy didn't expect it would be this way.

Castle wall, castle in Barnsdall. The 7th. Of January 2099 A.D.
Torah pushed the door close. The snow was falling tightly around the balconey. Heinrich cracked the whip. The bats where coming in a wave. Torah threw garlic at them. Her body still ached after the battle with the silver warrior. She wondered how she could be alive. That being had sealed off her magic force. Torah had felt like a painter going blind or a composer turning deaf. She put the matter aside. Heinrich would need her help. The harpies had gathered. They circled around him. Torah moved for the location when the wal across gave way. Through a hidden opening, there came armed and armoured lizard men. "Orbs of sorcery!" Torah went into battle. The orbs shot the closest enemy. The narrow square wasn't wide enough for any real battle. There was no big deal. Torah threw roses about. The seven monsters got blasted away. A row of arrows followed in their wake. Torah almost got nailed. The rangers dropped their weapons when running forward. Torah withdrew. She threw roses. The freezing impact finished off the battle. "This way!" Heinrich shouted. He'd just defeated the harpies. They'd reached half-way up, when the skeleton began throwing bones. The bats didn't make things easier. Heinrich threw a wave of holy water. The bats burned on impact. Torah got struck. The bones made her scream with pain. That never was comfortable. Her friend managed to stop the skeleton. Torah picked together. She ran up the staircase. The bone-man got knocked down. "Get away from there!" Heinrich shouted. He whipped the mammals into ashes. Torah got hit by the explosion. The blast sent her hard against the floor. That might saved her life. The wall in front was opened. A band of battle-droids emerged from hidden openings crafted into the floor of this area. Torah almost forgot about them. Heinrich came running. His blade was on fire. He repeled the lasers back into the robots before striking the rest into pieces. He even blocked the arrows shot from the opening. Seven armed lizard men came running out. Torah struggled back up. Heinrich made the crystal explode. The confusion made her reach in time. Together they defeated the monsters. The rangers shot another round of arrows before attacking. Heinrich got hit. Torah struggled forward. "Pearls of heat!" The transparent bubbles knocked them all down. Heinrich had been able to heal himself of damage. Torah knocked some candles. There wasn't much of notice. Heinrich went into the concealed area. "Good Lord in Heaven!" She heard him cry. Torah came running in. She stopped dead in her track. The red horse was not like something she'd ever seen before. "Thank you." The deep masculine voice
Made tears run down her features. "You are so beautiful." She whispered. Torah never had been that found of horses. "Thank you for having released me of slavery." Even Heinrich was toutched. "We didn't do anything." Torah dared telling. Pegasus beheld her. "You did banish he who kept me a prisoner." Torah figured he must be speaking about the silver warrior. "Please." She begged. "Tell me about my sister. Tell me about Saria." Pegasus looked sad. "That is something I cannot do." He kindly explained. Torah would look away. "Many things happen within the castle." She looked back up. "The weather has become unnatural." Pegasus shook his head and mane. The later having the colour of approaching dusk. "I am so sorry." He said. "This is all I can do." A bright red light shone like the rising sun. Torah shielded her eyes. When she could see, a glorious red jewel flouted between them. "Take this red jewel to the tower of sorcery." Pegasus said. "Make your wish come true. Then all will be well." Torah wished to ask more questions. But he kissed her forhead. "Do not be afraid, you little one who love trees." He went back a few steps. "You already know what you need." Then he was gone. Torah inhaled. She almost felt alone. Heinrich had made no statement. He put a hand on her shoulder. Then he went to claim the jewel. The gem still flouted before them. Torah inhaled. She felt his care. "May you shield this like you did with that other gem?" He kindly asked. Torah closed her eyes. She felt so tired. "I can do that." She assured. Heinrich nodded. He gave her the gemstone. Torah inhaled. Then she knelt to prepare for the ritual.

The rite was over. Heinrich climbed the steps. Snow was pouring down. Other bats where still about. He used the stopwatch to might slow their progress. Torah threw roses or garlic into the air. Heinrich had learned to be careful. Some steps could break away when walking. The harpies came flying in. Heinrich threw axes at them. Flames burned on impact. Heinrich kept going upward. The bone head made things even more difficult. The skull was spitting fireballs or breathed heavy flames. Heinrich struck them away. Torah blocked the flames with her iron-smash. Heinrich lept. He landed before the skull head. He whipped the thing repeatedly. He sidestepped. Torah came behind. She threw shining stakes. The impact made the skull explode. Heinrich made the sign of the cross. Hidden openings within the floor moved aside to reveal a group of super battle-droids. The robots immediately opened fire. Heinrich made crosses rise in defience. "Zapphire curtain!" Torah rised her shield for better protection. She made the thing shatter into pieces. The robots got frozen in place. Heinrich defeated the remaining battle-droids. The wall in front cracked open. Arrows came flying through. The monsters had arrived. "Orbs of sorcery!" Torah shot homing balls. He couldn't assist. Heinrich got other problems. The harpies shot multiple feathers at him. The projectiles when home. Heinrich groaned. HE felt like being hit by multiple daggers. The Greek creature came flying in. Heinrich struck with the whip. The other sisters picked him up. They shrieked with triumph. "I'll throw you over the abyss." The leftmost being promised. Heinrich got no choise. He made five spinning crosses appear. The harpies let go. The poisonous attack would kill them. Heinrich didn't wished to do that. The boomerang-cross returned to him. They where living creatures. Torah was involved with battle. Heinrich went to assist. But then the mammals came waving down. Heinrich threw holy water. Two new harpies had arrived. The first attacked him head on. Heinrich ducked. He threw daggers at her. The harpy got impaled. He got back up. The second harpy went from a difficult angle. Heinrich was able to whip her into oblivion. They never where that strong. Torah finished off the lizards. She was picking crystals. Heinrich whipped some candles. The items might come in handy. Torah began climbing the next stairway. The skeleton was throwing bones. Torah threw the stake forward. The skeleton exploded. Heinrich made the crystal explode. That burned the mammals. This time he picked the diamonds. They reached another square balconey. Heinrich noticed this was a dead end. He had a look around. Concealed openings revealed a second squad of super battle-droids. The robots opened fire. Heinrich made crosses rise. Torah came in from the beside. She threw flaming stakes. The robots got taken aback. Heinrich stormed forward. He struck the enemies down. The survivers withdrew. Then another hidden opening got revealed. Arrows shot forward. This time all the monsters came running out. Bats encircled the battlefield. Heinrich and Torah fought back-to-back. He threw the cross skyward. The item spun above as water pillars rised to crush the machines. Torah was playing her ocarina. Flames erupted while she was playing. Other openings released three rolling wheels. The destroyer-droids unfolded. Heinrich hung up the whip. He unsheated his blade. The lizard kept fighting his comrade. Heinrich summon more power. The pyre sword repeled the lasers right back. They got shield-generators. The shots evolved into deathly crossfire. Heinrich withdrew. The destroyers advanced while they continued blasting with their heavy cannons. "Orbs of sorcery!" Torah made a single powerful globe ram the nearest opponent. That was no luck. The robot could withstand even magical attacks. Torah was forced backward. Heinrich came running forward while throwing the cross. The boomerang split in four. They channelled electric currents. The robot's generator got fried. He waisted no time. Heinrich smashed a vial of holy water. The holy flame engulfed the machine on impact. The robot exploded from within. The other remaining destroyer-droid kept chasing the sorceress. The second robot continued blasting. Heinrich was forced to retreat. He made crosses rise for better protection. Torah managed to dodge the other droid. She toutched the machine's shield. Torah screamed as the energy got channelled through her body. Heinrich saw what happened. He couldn't help her. The destroyer-droid went back into its wheel mode. The snow made it difficult to track. Heinrich went to help Torah. She somehow had managed to lower the shield. Armed with the fairy sword, Heinrich beheaded the robot. He was thrown backward as the thing exploded. The final destroyer was back. The thing kept blasting. The hunters was forced to run. Torah threw garlics at him. The machine had altered polarity. He could block even solid objects. Heinrich knew what to do. He got the stopwatch. It didn't work. The machine wasn't affected. Heinrich nearly got shot in the process. Torah had noticed his statement. "Orbs of sorcery!" She made the destroyer change the objective. Heinrich threw the boomerang-cross. The robot had been forced to change during Torah's attack. The gold cross cut the thing in half. Then the destroyer-droid exploded. Heinrich leaned against the wall. He was freezing. Heinrich knew he better stay in action. Torah picked the crystals. Heinrich went to inspect the opening through which they came. "It's another elevator." He told the sorceress. "I think I might get it to work." This type was different from the one within the watchtower. Torah shrugged. Heinrich nodded. He made the sign of the cross. Then he pulled the button. Heinrich had made it go for the highest point. Torah preduced the iron-smash. Heinrich nodded. He'd resheated his blade. Heinrich then cracked the whip.

Tower of science, castle in Barnsdall. The 7th. Of January 2099 A.D.
Patrick was finished reloading his pistol. The blizzard was still ongoing. Patrick sniffed the air. He knew that scent. The elevator had opened. There was a man holding a whip. Patrick almost couldn't believe it. He retained his human form. Heinrich hung up the whip. Patrick embraced his childhood friend. "Patrick." Heinrich said, returning the favour. "So you really reached the castle." Torah had approached. Patrick bent to her level. "It's so good to see you." He said. Torah looked up at him. "Have you found Saria?" She asked. Patrick shook his head. "I saved all the children." He told. "Good work." Heinrich remarked. Patrick got up. He would tell him about his adventure. "Who's she?" Torah asked. Amy had remained at the back. "This is Amy." He explained. She said hello, acting a little shy. "She is Iori's friend. And mine as well." The hunters exchanged glances while he told his story. "Something must've happened with him." Torah then said. Patrick nodded when she told of the meeting within the castle center. "He has the power of dominance." Heinrich said in a low voice. They all went silent. Patrick toutched the cross. If only something could happen. Snow was twirling about. Amy shrieked. There was such horror in her voice, it made Patrick blood turn cold. A blade appeared from nowhere as the harpy got cut down. "Amy!" Patrick was screaming at the top of his lungs. He knew she was dead. Patrick just knew. Then a bolt of lightning struck down. "Insolent worm. Upstart weakling. All who oppose the Dark Lord must die. I will make thy soul suffer in Hell. Come. Meet thy doom." The same face. The very same. Patrick recognized the mane of white hair, the aqueline features and the short cropped grey beard. Count Dracula was like when he approached within the castle gate. He reached with his hand. The cape was spread like huge wings of darkness. "Thy soul belongst to me. Thou has summoned the name of suffering. This judge I place upon thee." Beside the royal shash, and the white chest of his shirt, there was no sign or specle of colour. Patrick tried to shake the count's charisma and dominating presence. Was it his strange bloodline which made him feel like that? He pulled the pistol. "Demon lord!" Torah shouted. She didn't seem to have any such problems. Torah dashed with the iron-smash ready. "What have you done with my sister!?" The great undead threw her aside with a sweep of his black cape. "Together thou art strong." The ancient Wallachian accent made it difficult to understand his speech. Why wasn't Heinrich doing anything. Patrick was frozen in place by the count's blazing stare. The flaming eyes simply held him in place. The prince of darkness made a dismissing gesture. "Alone thee shallst fall." The clawed hand reached into the sky. "Mine servants art waiting." Patrick noticed the sleeve also was surrounded by white lacework. Why should he focuse on such details? When shocked, the brain might play tricks on him. Then the shockwave of his power struck home. All went black. Patrick knew no more.

Clock tower, castle in Barnsdall. The 7th. Of January 2099 A.D.
Saria opened her eyes. Her mind echoed with his laugher. Something must have happened. She tried not to weep. Saria felt like she'd been in captivity forever. The Dark Lord brought her to this place. Snow had been falling. Saria wasn't afraid. At least not for catching the flew. The tree would protect her. Even without the pendant, she still had the connection through her blood. The thought really made her sob. He would drink of her blood eventually. Thus the great undead would kill it. She fought to get free. That was to no use. The evil kept her imprisoned. She never wished this to happen. Saria had fought to try break through with Arien. That wasn't the right way. Saria knew. Nobody could make it happen. They had to be accepted by the right person to make things work. Saria didn't want that to happen. She wasn't the chosen one. She didn't wish to be the sage of the forest. Saria didn't wish for people to cut down the trees. She felt so tired. What might have happened with her sister? Saria would like to know. Her eyes did close. She fell back to sleep.

Joseph Vincent had reached the clock tower. Of course he would. Dracula would be here somewhere. Joseph knew he was the one destined to rid the world of his presence. He smiled while twirling with the cross. That really should be no surprise. The sound of the moving gears was a source of frustration. This very place was lined with tall grandfather clocks. Joseph whistled with approval. The clocks where made during the Victorian era. As an antique dealer, he should know. They would give a great sum at the market. Joseph Vincent kept playing with his item. He looked down at the corpse. He just killed the vampire. He had a look over his shoulder. Like an old novel. Three doors led into the tower. There was another in front. Strange though, it was marked with the Roman numeral sign for second. It wasn't locked. Joseph would defeat the Dark Lord. He had no fear. But when it was over, he would take along some items. They would be his reward for defeating the vampire. To think that the peasants he met in the villa could battle the count was a mere insult. Joseph was singing. He would emerge victorious. Then he would finally get what he deserved.

(A.N: This is the chapter I have been looking forward to write. I hope I didn't mixed up with the dialogue this time. Vego and Raglian are of course based on the "Yellow devil" and the dragon of MM and MMii. Thanks to Ghostbusters 2 and Skyblaster for name giving. We're getting closer to the keep. Have a nice time.)
