Part 1: Gathering darkness.

Chapter 12: Praying hands.
Burkly manision, Warakiya. The 15th of December 2098 A.D.
Lord Wold did gaze down upon them from his throne. "So it is then, my lord
Tyrannos." Now that he'd informed him of his true self, he did treated him
with greater respect, but also with more distance in his demeanour. He didn't
care. He was a machine. Or most of him was at least, but not even that mattered
now. "I sanction your decision on surrendering your command to droid-commander
Sliff. Satan give you power. Heild der Graff." He did nodd and then he did
turn around and left the room.

He did lean back in the throne, or rather tried to do so. A throne was no
comfortable seat, but that held no importance. He looked down upon the new
droid-commander. Sliff was a lizard-like creature, half lizard, half droid,
even dough it was difficult knowing which was what. The lizard-head-shaped
howle-covering helmet and the black and gold-coloured tecno-suit did completely
cover what was left of his organic body. He must be good, Tyrannos wouldn't
have chosen him if he wasn't so. But he didn't know him, it, very good. "Go
to the audience hall and administrate the droid-defences of my tower." Could
he really trust it?" Sliff press his hand towards his hearth. "Yes my lord."
The droid-commander said before he turned and left the hall like Tyrannos
had done. He'd trusted him and he'd betrayed him. He'd done it in the name
of lord Dracula to be sure, but he still felt betrayed. "Galamoth," The holographic
image of the being did appare. "Yes my lord?" "Send droid-commander Sliff
down to arrest the intruders." He was sure they would destroy him and then
Tyrannos could feel the same feeling. "As you command my lord." The hologram
disappeared.

Wold was a fool, never before he'd noticed it like this. Lord Tyrannos had
told him about who he was on behalf of lord Dracula and he did plan to defay
the will of the dark lord. He'd bean the chief-advisor since this part of
the Warakiyan countryside had come under the rule of lord Dracula and never
before he'd distrusted the decisions of his overlord. The headhunter had reported
that Thomas Lecarde and Anna, her last name was unknown for them, had escaped
her. She would take care of them or die in the trying, but he didn't intended
to let this Sliff die just to fulfil Wold's desire for revenge. "Take with
you all the droids lord Dracula sent here." The hologram of Sliff nodded before
it disapared. He again started going back and forth, just like Tyrannos had
done. What was he to do? Obey Wold or lord Dracula? Wold was here and the
dark lord was a long way from here. He would have to wait and see.

He took a deep breath of satisfaction as he again brought on his armour. John
and Ruth had found it inside one of the rooms lining the corridor leading
to the pools. He'd decided to take on one of the shorter more simple dobble-buttoned
green silk-jacket with golden embroideries around the neck, sleeves and on
the shoulder. Luckily the simple glow of the armour and the new shoulder-plates
did cover that. He'd also brought on an armour ceclase and some army boots
too. The sild-shirt and ludicrous black silk-trousers where all he'd left
from stealing from the pool's dressing-room. But he couldn't do anything against
that and Anna and Salmissra hadn't changed their outfits. Then again, the
Nubian snake-woman was what she was and Anna had turned out to become more
and more interested in magic. If he'd understood the discussion she'd had
with Ruth and Salmissra. Speaking about the Jewish girl, she'd given him back
the gun back. It felt good having is old family heirloom back at his side.
It had just bean a few ghosts and spider-woman defying them access, not that
it had bean anything "mere" or "just" about that. But against six of them
the'd had no chance. Now however, they where back where they began, in the
grand hall at the bottom of the tower. The cracking sound of the stain-glass
ghosts did bring him out from his thoughts as he swung the spear at the ones
coming at him, crushing them into pieces with the wooden handle or pinning
the spear-head right through where their hearths should've bean. Salmissra
danced around with her knife and sword at the ready, crashing other stain-glass
ghosts into ablivion. He cast a look over his shoulder and smiled as he saw
his friends doing just as well against these strange ghosts. Marina destroyed
them with bursts of solid-packed water as Anna crushed others with her rod
or blasted them into oblivion with h simple spheres of energy. John did dash
past him with even more energy blazing around his sword as he did completely
destroyed more stain-glass ghosts. Ruth was at the Belmont's side, battle-axe
in hand and with a light of determined vengeance in her eyes. Two spider-woman
had destroyed her armour and clothing with their acid-like webs and she was
now dressed in one of those strange weapon-robes which left her arms and feet
bare. She'd taken up a breast-plate, shoulder-plates, steel neclase and wrist-protectors
to defend herself with. It was strange seeing her short black hair and light
brown skinned body move and jump with such grace and elegance as she really
had. Another stain-glass ghost tried to behead him and he returned the failed
attempt with a successful one. As if steering on women hadn't brought him
enough trouble as it was. He almost snarled as three other stain-glass ghosts
did attack him. Then it was all over, one moment he was deeply indulged in
battle and the next moment all ghosts where rduced to tiny pieces of glass
on the floor. The windows where just fine, without one crack in them to show
where the ghosts had broken free. Again he shook his head. Then he noticed
one other thing. John and Ruth had told him about the guards patrolling the
stairs leading upward. The thing now was that they where all gone. He felt
as if a trap was closing around them.
Burkly mansion, Warakiya. The 15th

She tightened the grip around the axe. This was not the way it had bean. As
if to correct her, whips of blue fire trusted down from the ceilings and a
stranger woman stood before them. With her silver hair and green eyes, she
could've bean beautiful, not that she cared about girls who'd pledged fealty
to lord Dracula. Her left hand almost automatically went up to her neck where
the Star of David rested. She stopped herself an instead prepared for battle.
"Somethings don't feels right about her." Marina said. "Somethin's wrong."
"Indeed." The woman said before she lifted her hands. "Crystal cage!" She
did jump, so did Anna and John, the other's where just one moment to late.
Cages of crystalline bars did close around them and although they could destroy
the crystal, it would take them time. "Bitch of Lucifer!" John shouted as
Anna lifted her hands and fired spheres of concentrated energy. She'd grown
quite good with those things, but she had no chance against the trained witches
of the dark lord. Just as fast as an eye could blink, Anna's spheres exploded
and she was sent flying into the wall. John dashed toward the witch cutting
through the wave of wind the witch had sent at him and then sent a wave of
green energy from the blade. Their enemy let off a wall of fireballs and she
did dash at the witch. She rammed her right in the neck, cutting the head
clean off. But her smile soon turned to a grimace of fear as she noticed bought
the body, head and fireballs turn into shadow and take new form. "It's a Headhunter!"
Marina screamed from within her cage. "It's a demon who steal others heads
and power to use it as their own." John corrected as she cast him a somewhat
mystified look. Even dough she'd bean a long-time soldier in the dark lord's
army, she'd never heard of them before. But that didn't matter as their enemy
grew into a tall female form, dressed in golden body-armour and with the wings
of a hawk spreading out behind her. Red locks of hair went down her shoulder
as large black eyes looked upon them from a bird's face. "A hawk-lady." Marina
whispered. "I thought they died of thousands of years ago." "The kin of the
Headhunter has many powers and souls you don't know about!" The Headhunter
screamed. "Now, prepare to die!" It spread her claws and tiny steel projectiles
became blasted at them. Just as well, she started flapping her wings and blasted
of a wave of tiny feathers in all directions. Then she drew out her sword
and dashed at them. She swung her blade and hammered against the Headhunter
just as Anna's rod did clash with the birds she'd thrown from her left hand.
John threw his axe and made green energy blast all over. She smiled as the
Headhunter did stagger backward as she tried to gather more energy. Then she
started flapping her wings and this time it was her who did became threwn
back. But since she'd shed her armour, or rather the armour had become destroyed,
she had become quicker and more agile than before. Anna did gather her robes
around her and then teleported to another place and then blasted of three
hard-packed knots of energy. That girl had made a bad habit out of surprising
her with picking up new magic tricks. This time the Headhunter did use her
wind-spell to blow away the energy. But as Anna did teleport again and as
she did prepare to attack again, John did attack. One huge wave of green,
blue and whitish gold crosses came through the air and hammered into the bird-like
demon. But even now, it wasn't over. Again the burning demon melted into shadows
and reformed into yet another form. She'd rested a little as it looked like
John had finished her off, again grasped around the axe. Before she did dash
toward the new form, she wondered just how many heads this demon really had.
Burkly mansion, Warakiya. The 15th
of December 2098 A.D.
The Headhunter turned into a broad muscular demon with horns rising from its
head, tail hanging from its back, with goat-legs and horse-feet, while leathery
bat-wings growing from its back-side. The worst thing however was the beautiful
female-face placed in its breast and the four arms holding four black iron
swords within their grasp. He did do the sign of the cross. This would be
it, he was sure of it. "God is with the house of the Belmont." Marina said
as she and the others broke free from their cages. "Together again hot-shot."
Thomas smiled as he planted his spear in the floor and with that fire he hadn't
seen since they'd defeated that phantom bat. Marina did gave them an encouraging
smile before he did vanish in a wire-pool of crystalline water. He smiled
and shook his head. She'd told them she could only stay there some time before
she would have to return to the meetings between the allies she, Adrian and
Alicia did planed to gather in their final attack on the castle. For him it
sounded like an impossible plan, but if God wanted it, nothing was impossible.
It was strange which strange thoughts who crossed your mind when you was about
to join battle. Anna did gather energy in her hands, Salmissra gave the Headhunter
dark looks as she did prepare her dagger. After what he'd seen, she'd broken
the blade on the cage she'd bean entrapped inside. Then again, Ruth looked
just as determined as Anna. Then the Headhunter did the first move. Black
bolts of energy shot from the swords. He swung the blade, cutting the blast
into peaces, making it exølode, just as Anna did block the blast with her
rod and Ruth and Thomas did with the other bolts. "Stake and striking weapons
attack." He said as he, Thomas, Ruth and Salmissra did attack the four arms.
However, the Headhunter attacked before they could really make anything out
of his strategy. It dashed right at him with all four swords pointed forward.
He did rise his blade and a wave of green light did rocket right at it, sending
it far back. Thomas did send his spear right into its neck and the Headhunter
grinned at them, with a mouth-full of pointy teeth and then just stepped back
from the spear-head. "Watch you, droids are coming!" Ruth's cry made him dropp
himself to the ground and roll assaide as blast after blast of laser-fire.
"God save us!" Salmissra cried, looking just as shocked about seeing the heav
blue and crimson armoured bird-like droids, as summoning the name of God.
"Lissten to me now." Ruth almost babbled. "Blaster-droids are among the most
powerful droid-types the industry-branch have produced." He merely nodded,
getting a fast over-view. Besid ten of those wingless heavy-beaked droids.
There where just as many of the black skeleton-looking droids armed with lightning-rods
Anna used. This wasn't good, not at all. "Run if you want to live!" He said
as he did rethreat back towards one of the other doors. Ruth was at his side,
so was Anna, but he couldn't see any of the others. This wasn't good. His
eminence had just bean so right about this. Never underestimate the powers
of darkness. He decided, that if he suvived that was, he would never again
do that.
Burkly mansion, Warakiya. The 15th
of December 2098 A.D.
Droid-commander Sliff did look around himself. More than seven of his droids
where destroyed and the corpse of the Headhunter's corpse lay before the doors
the Belmont and his allies had ran through. And that snake-woman was his only
pray. Her corpse, burned into a crisp lay before one of the other doors. He
lifted his hand an a tiny hologram of Galamoth appeared. "They are powerful
enemies indeed." The cloaked creature nodded and although he couldn't see
his face, he felt a smile coming from him. "So I take it you have destroyed
them then?" He shook his head, for once he was thankful fore the helmet covering
what was left of his face. "One of the trators is dead." He calmly said. "But
Wold's little Headhunter is also dead, as if some of my droids. But no matter,
I will find them and destroy them." The smile he'd felt, vanished. "Do so,
but I will come and aid you. These Belmonts have bean a danger too long."
He nodded. "As you wish." Wold wouldn't like this, but he wouldn't hinder
them either. He also knew the Belmonts was the biggest threat to lord Dracula's
power. "Of course." I shall be quick." The ancient warlock said before the
hologram disappeared. Just then, a blaster-droid came running over to him.
"My lord, we have a prisoner." He smiled inside his helmet. "Who is it?" "First
name: Ruth. Last name: Dinesti." The droid reported. "Skin colour: Light-brown.
Eye-colour: green. Hair-colour: light-blonde died black. Height:" He rouse
his hand and the droid became silent. Then it just continued the report, although
it didn't continued where it had left off. "The branch of science, technology
and industry commanded us to turn her over to them. She is to be infused with
the Aran-serum." He nodded. "Then continue the search for the others." "Yes
sir." It turned around and started commanding the droids present to join him.
"You two!" He commanded, waving at two shadow-droids. "Follow me." "As you
command droid-commander Sliff." They said and joined in behind him. Even dough
the blaster-droids possessed greather fire-power, he did trust the shadow-droids
more then them. As he did walk over to the door leading to the door where
he needed to go, he did activate the holo-ring once again. "Galamoth, there
is no need for you to leave your post. My droids have taken a prisoner and
I am to interrogate her now." The humpbacked creature shrouded in grey nodded.
"As a matter of facts." He told him. "Lord Wold have commanded me to stay
on my post. He wants you dead and he have placed victory armours and destroyer
droids up here to "aid" me " He nodded. "Satan give you power." "He give you
too." Galamoth said before he vanished. He continued to walk down the corridor,
without paying any attention to the marvellous beauty surrounding him.
Burkly mansion, Warakiya. The 15th

She did gather solid spheres of energy blasted a lightning-rod armed shadow-droid
into oblivion, or tried to do so that was. As she could deflect energy with
her rod, so they could. John did swing his blade but was forced to jump back.
If only Ruth had bean there, she was sure she'd bean together with them, but
had become lost in the battle. These accursed shadow-droids where difficult
to destroy and… She did dash at it as she swung her rod and met it stroke
by stroke. Then John's sword cut through its spine. The droid became limb
as it fell to the floor. John did place the blade down into the floor and
did rest his weight on the sword. "I hope they don't send more of these devils
against us." He said as his hand went up to softly tuch his cross. She nodded.
"I hope you're right." She answered. "But even if they have, I would've fought
through them to find Ruth and Thomas." John nodded. "I think Thomas is right."
He mumbled as he sat the sword back at his side. "Wold must be removed from
power so that this are might be free from Dracula." She nodded and gave him
a kiss on his cheek. "Thank you John." He smiled and then again brought out
his sword as one of those accursed blaster-droid came running down the corridor.
"Hault!" The droid said in its strange to-human sounding voice. "Drop your
weapons or I will disarm you through wiolant means." "If God will." She and
John said in almost the exact same time. John dashed at the droid, swinging
his blade as he did deflect the blasts with that strange sword of the Kishine-clan.
Then she noticed a bolt being thrown from the droid's shoulder. She made spheres
of magical energy fly from her hands and the bolt exploded in mid air and
John did send waves of green energy from the blade, destroying the lightly
armoured droid. She then for the first time took a look around. They where
in a corridor above ground, nearly just as high-ceilied as the giant entrance-hall.
Huge windows of stained-glass, curtains of rich blue and crimson velvet and
with towering high pillars and a carpet with the same colours as the curtains.
Her breath did drift before her like mist or steam. It was freezing-cold inside
the corridor and judging by the look on John's face, he also felt it. "You
have the orb giving you access to the crests of opals, emeralds and purplestone,"
She said. "Why don't you summon the powers of fire to warm this place." He
shook his head. "It don't work that way. I might light a fire or attack an
enemy with fireballs or things like that, but I can't warm a place just like
that. Not that I wouldn't love burning this place down, but our friends are
out here somewhere and so I wouldn't do anything before we're all out of here."
A smile went over his face and he did shrug. "Beside, I don't think I'm powerful
enough to burn this huge place anyway. Not before this Wold is dead." "Then,
how do you suggest we do now?" She said as she leaned upon her rod. "Don't
you remember what Marina told us?" Even as he said that, a concentrated look
appeared upon his face. "There and there." He said, pointing his left arm
up the corridor and the other one up the same corridor. "Do you plan to split
yourself in two or something?" She dryly said. "No." He softly returned. "But
I do suggest we split up." She opened her mouth to protest, but he rouse his
hand. "I know it's dangerous. But our friends might be in danger and we don't
have time to look for one of them as it's now." She nodded and then ran past
him and up the corridor. She didn't intended letting Salmissra, if she was
still alive, to have more time alone with Thomas than she already had. Then
again, it could be Ruth who sent out the call. Never mind, John would do just
fine if he did manage to keep them apart. She did blast away some more spheres
as some bats and stain-glass ghosts tried to stop her. Then she came to an
abrupt halt as she, behind a huge curtain of blue and crimson velvet hanging
in the middle of the corridor, found Thomas involved in battle with that strange
droid who'd attacked them in the hall. Something which did worry her, was
that these corridors seamed to cross each-other like huge squares inside the
side-towers being all around the main-tower. But she didn't have time to thing
further about that as the droid did send away a ball of static electricity
from its shoulder-cannon, making the Lecarde fell motionless upon the floor.
"Show yourself cat." HE then said without turning. What was he speaking about,
then she knew it and leaped out from her hiding-place screaming like a cat.
That bastard knew about her feelings for bought Thomas and John and then dared
to cal her… The droid lifted his left hand and twin-beam of laser-fire became
shot at her.
Burkly mansion, Warakiya. The 15th

She did open her eyes. This place was strange. She felt wet all over and bubbles
of air did drift from her open mouth and nose. But somehow she felt like breathing
in water was no real problem. Just as she thought so, the liquid vanished
and the tank opened. She took some steps forward and then it all returned
to her and she almost wanted to scream.
Flashback.
She was tied to a table. Lizardmen dressed in black hoods and robes was piercing her skin with tiny needles, all which went to a strange tank with clear liquid. These bastards where filling her with some strange poison, that she was sure of. "That's enough." A were-spider dressed in one of their silvery-coloured creo-suits said. "Yes sir." One of his aids went over to the tank and switched some buttons, making the strange liquid stop. "Read the sensors." The were-spider commanded and another aid went to inspect some instruments which where tited to her right wrist. "The serum is starting to work sir." He said. "Her wounds are starting to close. Her hearth and blood is growing stronger. She will no be capable of withstanding more pain and her body will now withstand and perform with more power than any mere human." The were-spider nodded. "Then give her a complete bath in the serum. If this thing work as it should, she will become the first super-soldier in the dark lord's army." One of the aids come over to her and injected her with a black liquid and all became the very same colour to her eyes.
End of flashback.
Strangely enough, she could now feel that what the were-spider had said was true. She performed a jump, then a twist and a salto, all this while still air-borne. As she landed, she didn't felt the usual body-shock that usually followed when you did go so far up in the air. "Success!" She whirled around, a little mystified that she didn't feel any dizzy by moving so fast, and found herself looking at the were-spider and his lizardmen aids. She blushed as she noticed she was naked, but she didn't broke the gaze. "Here." One of the aids said as he threw her a fur-coated tunic and a pair of boots. She quickly put them on and as she did so, found that her star of David still hung around her neck. "Now we can destroy her." The were-spider coldly said. His aids brought out blasters from their robes and she felt cold. But instead of becoming stunned with fear, not that she'd ever bean so, and looked around for her weapons. To her relief, she noticed that her battle and throwing-axes lay on a near-by table. As they started blasting at her, she dashed with a quickness she'd never had before and grabbed her weapons. She concentrated her mind and then fire blazed around the weapon and she calmly deflected the beams and then threw the axe at the lizardmen, making them burst into fire. "We did infuse you with DNA taped from the Belmont clan." The were-spider calmly said as he did rise his twin hand-blasters. "Now, I give you a choice. You might either resume your former rank in the new order, or face the fury of Lord Dracula!" "Abraham, Isak and Jacob where my forfathers!" She declared. "They did wander with God, not with your lord and the Devil. I'll not let them down. I wander with God and in in the name of He, who is who He is, I'll destroy you." "By St. Smon and Johannes the Babtist, I stand by you!" She didn't turn around, that she didn't dare to. But she didn't have to as John, with his face lighted with determination and with his sword blazing with red energy came up by her side. "So die then!" The were-spider said. "Bought of you." He fired and she dropped herself to the floor and rolled underneath it and then jumped up and slashed her axe into his legs. Then John's sword did pierce its skull and it fell dead to the floor. "Sorry for not getting here earlier." He apologized. "I had to fight through five of those blasted droids and a double so large force of those lizard scientists." He didn't drag about it, so much she'd learned about him as they started this journey. She merely nodded and went to look for her clothing. Sorry for her, all she found was her belt. She however placed the throwing-axe inside it and then she looked up at him. "They said they infused me with DNA taken from your clan. Do it really feel like this? I mean, you become quicker and more agile without any pain or things like that?" He laughed as he did look around the lab in search of useful weapons. "Not exactly that. We're a clan trained in the arts of hunting and killing vampires. And God did something with us, giving our house a strong enough gift in bought magic and maritial arts, so you might say that. I hope however that this lab was the only one having that kind of DNA. Now, run!" He'd found some strange boxes which he'd done something with, even dough she didn't understood what, she did as he said.

He did rouse from his throne as he felt the tower shake so that it almost
became difficult in staying on-foot. Angrily he activated the holograms to
his commanders. To his dismay, only Galamoth did answer him. "Yes my lord?"
The ancient creature said as he did bow before him. "Where is the other commanders?"
HE snapped. "You are the only I have bean able to make contact with." Galamoth
slowly shook his head. "The lightning elemental died something like three
hours ago. The Headhunter is dead less than one hour ago and droid-commander
Sliff have not contacted me since he informed me that he was involved in battle
with Thomas Lecarde." This was unbelievable! How could these weakling humans
have disposed all his commanders like this? "Shall I take it that I shall
inform the tower evacuated my lord?" "No!" He nearly roared. "I want these
Belmont-scum destroyed! You are to destroy them, now! Do I make myself clear?"
Galamoth merely nodded. "As you command my lord." Then the hologram disappeared.
He did sat back into his seat. He would not give up his mantle of power because
of this. Then he would rather die.
Burkly mansion, Warakiya. The 15th

Had it not bean for his magnetic boots, he would most likely bean thrown off
balance like that cat of a human did became. But then again. The fact she
did became thrown to the floor, made him miss with his wrist-blasters on her.
She did however jump to her feet and then threw herself at him again as she
did blast him with sphere after sphere of magical energy. He countered the
energy as he fired more laser-fire from bought his wrist-blasters and shoulder-cannon.
Then he took off into the air and threw one of his electrical bombs. As the
bomb hit the ground, bolts of static force went all along the floor. The female
did however jump just as grafefully as the cat she was and avoided his blasts.
He landed and fired a ball of more static electricity at her. That accursed
little kitty countered by blasting of her own sphere of energy. The two balls
made contact and sparks of energy flew all over the room. He felt something
hit his head from behind and turned. "Die your wretched droid!" Thomas yelled.
"You're going to die for what you did to Salmissra!" He merely smirked inside
his helmet and sent a twin blast of laser-fire at the upset Lecarde, making
him jump back. Just as he did so, a blast of energy came blasting from that
cat of a female. It didn't harm him, but it blasted his helmet into pieces.
He turned at her with a snarl on his face. She was to die, here and now.

He did peek around the corner, but swiftly withdrew it. "They're still there."
He whispered. "If they don't go away soon we'll have to take them head on."
Ruth said. He still felt a little bit weird by seeing a Jew with blonde hair
and even wireder that she was a DaNasty and hadn't told him about it. He shok
his head. IT was really strange things which came to your mind when you was
in a stressed situation. "Look," He said in a hiss more than a whisper. "that's
a cloaked doom-trooper we tal about. Not to mention two victory armours."
"Do you have any other bright idea?" She snapped back. "If we go back the
same way we'll just end up back in the rock-pile you turned the lab into."
He blushed a little but she didn't made anything more out of it. Instead she
did walk over to peek around the corner herself. "The victory armours are
gone." She said as she returned. "They most likely went to fetch Anna and
Thomas." He nodded. That left the doom-trooper, but this was the best chance
they would get. Sooner or later the victory armours would return and that
would turn it back just where they where now. "God be with us." He said and
did the sign of the cross. "May we wander with you as Abraham, Isak and Jakob
did." She said. They got to their feet and he did jump around the coruner
and just nearly was able to jump aside as the doom-trooper swung one of those
strange sword-crystals at him. This was a little different than when he'd
battled the first of the cloaked ones. He paryed a short prayer and then swung
the sword at it. It blocked his attack, as he'd expected it would, but his
paryer was answered as his own blade didn't became destroyed. HE didn't understand
his sword, how it could cut through energy and iron like it was mere cloth
or flesh. Whatever the case, Maxim had taken the secret with him in the grave
and if Juste knew anything about it, he never told anything about it in his
journal. The thoughts went grough his mind as he did meet the doom-troopers
stroke by stroke. That beast had even activated yet another blade in its left
hand and was doing sword-fight with Ruth too. She tried to destroy it by gather
energy into her axe and managed it although she knew magic didn't work on
these creatures. But it did however hinder that beast in destroying her axe.
He did manage to get in some hits on him, but when he did so, if was as if
the blade did fasten in it like it was stiky or anything. Then one thought
came to his mind and he imidatly reacted by seting the cloak on fire by throwing
one of his daggers at it. As he'd expected, the tiny blade fastened in its
robe but the holy energy in the dagger made it become shrouded in fire. Stunned
by pain, it dropped the sword-crystals and staggered some few steps back before
it dropped to the floor. It was truly strange how the creature did burn so
quick. But mere seconds after he'd thrown the dagger, the beast was mere ash
and bones. He didn't mind his dagger as he kicked the sword-crystals away,
grabbed Ruth in her shoulder and shouted for her to run. She did and he followed
her example.

She staggered backward by the mere look in his eyes. If Death had bean here,
he would most likely looked upon her with eyes like that. If he'd had eyes
that was and if… She did babble and stopped doing so as this strange creature
did speake to her with that same strange part mechanical, part living voice.
"Human whore." He spat. "I know about you, I feel your desires through my
telekinetic powers. I know you "love" bought the Belmont and this weakling
Lecarde. I know you feel attracted by the Dinesti too. I can read your memories
too. You hated Salmissra because she knew this and because she had the attention
of one of your "loved ones". Ha, and you call you a good woman. You're no
better than the woman who give themselves to our lord! If only some of the
nymphs or sirens where here. I should have given you to them to let you learn
how to become a true slut." The last word truly was a spat as he did threw
an orb of acid at her. She weakly jumped to the side and saw Thomas look on
her with sorrow in his eyes. "Is this true?" He nearly whispered. She didn't
have to answer, he saw the truth in her eyes. "All my life," He said in a
voice who sounded like there where nothing left inside him. "I have hoped
that someone would love me. Sara did and she died. Salmissra I thought loved
me and she became murdered by her own friends. You I hoped loved me since
Marina saw something she thought was love. You feel attracted by all of us.
Even when we did went to bed together, did you dream of how it would feel
like being there with all of us?" She didn't wanted this. Didn't want either
that it should be this way or to answer his question. "Don't answer." He said
as tears started running down his face. "In Ruth's homeland you might have
a man marry two women. IF he love them so be it. But this isn't like this."
Now his voice was rising. "This droid or wathever he is, is right. You're
a slut!" She did stagger backward like he'd hit her and then avoided one new
ball of electric force from the droid-lizard. "My name is Sliff," He did shout
at her. "droid-commander in his highness lord Dracula's army of the new order.
Remember that name closely cat. That is the last name you're ever goind to
hear." "I don't think so." Thomas said. "Whatever she is, I'm still an ally
of the Belmont and I'm going to kill you!" He did dash at the creature as
he swung his lance in an effort to spear him right through his head. He was
about to fly out of reach by using his yet-pack. She did dash at him and crashed
it with her rod just before he could avoid them. He did blast at them with
his shoulder-cannon, making her shot away from him and hammer into the floor.
Then all she could see where the beautiful ceiling-paintings of satyrs, nymphs
and centaurs. They seamed to lough at her and she just started to cry.

Suddenly he just stood before them. They'd worked to clean the hall of stain-glass
ghosts, bone-soldiers and some hammer-knights when he appeared before them.
"Again we meet." The shrouded creature said. "The circle is complete. The
last time one of your kind faced me, he was aided by the young master and
one of the Belnades daughters. Now, you stands alone. Your little Dinesti
pet cannot help you." He rouse his hand and she vanished into a portal just
teared out of reality. "Where did you send her?" He said as he brought out
his sword and gold-daggers. He had a feeling he knew who this creature was,
but Ruth was his friend. "To where droid-commander Sliff is about to destroy
your other friends. But having concenarn for your friends will be of little
help to you now. Ready?" He nodded as he did the sign of the cross. "Ready."
He did say. The creature before him lifted his hand and a sceptre with a huge
purple orb-shaped jewel at the end appeared in its hand. Then the creature
shed its cloak, showing him an armour in ancient Egyptian armour. Not to mention
the muscular shape of a Galamoth, a creature also called a were-Triceratops.
As he did watch on, the creature started to grow and not stopped before it
was at least 18 metres tall. "So it's true then." He softly said. "And I who
thought Richter Belmont made an overkill when he described you all those years
ago." Then he shook his head. "Back then you where Shaft's and Dracula's second-in-command.
What happened?" A grin appeared upon his face. "Let me guess," He gleefully
said. "Old Drac was angry you didn't kill them, right?" Galamoth merely answered
by lifting the sceptre into the air and then blasted off a sphere of lightning
force. This would be it, that he knew. The final test to prove he was a true
Belmont. He swung the blade as he summoned the power of the crest of purplestone.

She gasphed as she was thrown right out into another corridor where Thomas
was jumping and rolling around to avoid twin laser-blasts from a lizard-droid's
wrists and static-balls shot from the very same lizard-droid's shoulder-cannon.
She grabbed the broad battle-axe at her side and then dashed at the droid
or whatever it was and concentrated fire around her axe. "Watch out!" Thomas
shouted as he swung his spear, using the lance as some sort of pogo-stick
as he jumped across a rapid wave of laser-fire. She snarled as a werewolf
and then dashed at the droid-commander. He did try to blast her but it was
to late. With the battle-axe in hands she destroyed the wrist-blasters to
oblicion. Then he shot a ball of static electricity at her, making her fly
far back. As she tipped over, she felt upon the growning body of Anna. She
tried to smile, the grunt concluded to that she was alaive, but failed in
that effort since her body was completely numb.

The door slid open and three individuals entered. "My lord Wold." The centre-most
of the individuals lightly bowed before him. "My name is Reinholdth Lenz,
darkside of the new order of lord Dracula." He waved his hand toward his aids.
"This is Yukuri Miramadi and Nina Sukawa." The two did remove their hoods.
The first one showing forth a beautiful Japanese face with the race's familiar
trademark eyes and petite body. He smiled as he did watch the black hair and
with the pointed airs of a vampire her looked even more elfish than ever.
The other one was a sun-blonde hair and with Japanese eyes, like her last-name
conlouded too, green as married. And even dough the black robe hid her body,
he knew she was a well modelled feminine body, he knew her type. Then he focused
on the darkside again and smiled. This was a true darkside bodyless, soulless
a puppet controlled by black magic and thirst for power. "The dark lord's
circle of blood have sent us here to aid in finding the Belmont who have brought
such destruction to your domain." The formal hissing voice with a mixture
of British and German accent did start to irate him. Then again, if they where
to place themselves under his rule, it could just as well make use of them.
"My underlings are become destroyed by our enemies. If you could please go
downstair to find them." The darkside bowed and turned to give the order to
his aids. "Now," He did say as the two little mistresses of lord Dracula had
left them. "there is time to discuss more important matters." He did nod.
Of course. HE should have expected this. If droid-general Tyrannos had told
the dark lord everything, as he would most likely had done, the circle would
surly sent someone to inspect him. "You can call me darkd wanderer." Just
as he said so, he felt how the chilling presence of fear did drift from the
shrouded black wanderer. He did take a deep breath, this was more than an
inspection. This was control, punishement for failure. Out from the cloak,
he brought out something which looked like a pearl, a black pearl surrounded
with a tiny cage of shining iron. He did take some steps back, this wasn't
something he wanted. But this wasn't something he could choice. This was a
soul-trap. A trap which would make him a puppet for the one holding the trap.
The dark wanderer put its gloved hand on his shoulder, right between two plates
of armour and he felt an desire to scream as blood dripped from his skin.
The wanderer removed his hand and stroke the pearl with his blood. Then he
did lift his hand and he felt how some of his soul, or whatever he had left
of his essence, as it did drift into the wanderer's grsp which he again stroke
over the soul-trap. Pain washed over him and he almost made him scream. "Now,"
The dark wanderer said, he felt how it was smiling. "you might continue your
play. But remember, if I feel you betray us…" He didn't end the sentence and
didn't need to as the dark spirit did softly stroke the pearl. He nodded as
he felt the chills of pain of the soul-trap go through him. "Hail der Graf."
The wanderer slightly bowed and then vanished into thin air. He leaned into
his throne. It had bean a devastating mistake in underestimate lord Dracula
and his hands. He'd never heard about anyone who'd bean released from a soul-trap
before, unless they had given almost maddening proofs of their loyalty. He
promised himself that he should be freed one day. The door banged open and
the two vampires stepped in. "My lord," Yukuri said. "your commanders are
involved in battle with the Belmont and his aids." He nodded, trying as hard
as he could to stay tall before the aids. After what the wanderer had told,
they had no part in the punishing of him. "You are to go and aid them. You,
Nina, are to aid the first and you Yokouri are to aid the oter." "Very well
my lord." They bowed and left him. He sat down upon his throne again. Nobody
could escape a soul-trap, nobody.

Ball after ball of static energy shot from his shoulder-cannon as he spat
blob after blob of acid at the Lecarde. If that accursed blonde woman who'd
jumped out from the vortex and destroyed his wrist-blasters. He didn't care
however as his own acid spit still made him capable of taking care of the
Lecarde. However the Lecarde had gotten vials of holy water from one of the
strange-lit candle-stands and was now able to take out some of his static
balls and acid blobs. He opened his belly-thrower and threw a grenade of static
electricity. The Lecarde did once again use his spear as some kind of pogo-stick
as he jumped across the electric-bolt and then threw a vial of holy water
right into his thrower and he felt intense pain as his upper body explode.
Then the Lecarde did pine him through the troath and made even his head burst
into fire. His last thought was that he'd betrayed the trust of not only droid-general
Tyrannos but also the trust of Death and lord Dracula who had made him into
the new droid-commander.

He helped Ruth to stand but let Anna to help herself to her feet. Looking
upon the hooded and cloaked Trantoil made him feel even more dirty than looking
upon Salmissra. Just then, winged droids appeared out from the curtains and
as they did land, their wings slid back into their backs as they rouse their
hands and started blasting at them with their wrist and shoulder-guns. Weels
of metal rolled out from yet another curtained corridor and rolled out their
upper human forms and six spider-legs, then they started blasting even more
laser-fire from their own wrist-cannons. "This isn't good, not good at all."
He mumbled as he rouse his weapon and so did Ruth and Anna.

"If you intend to deactivate the main-control computer to immobilize the battle-droids
of the tower, you have to pass through me." Galamoth snarled as he blasted
sphere after sphere of purple orbs of lightning. He didn't care as he did
summon energy around his blade and sent more green energy to counter the ancient
creature's lightnings. Then he let go of the green power. He noticed the tiny
pulses of electric power who formed a pattern around Galamoth's armour. The
only element powerful enough to penetrate so much electricity would be the
very same element. "Keeper of the crest of purplestone," He softly prayed
in his hearth. "give me power to destroy this creature. It's not for myself
I ask this, but in the name of God and to honour Christ, our lord." For his
inner eye, a red-haired black-eyed ten-year-old boy in a purple cloak with
embroideries of silvery-grey lightning-bolts spread all over smiled at him
and he felt like a bolt of lightning struck down in him. "Now it's my turn."
He said as he gathered energy around his sword and then blasted it outward
at the towering demon. Just as the bolt struck into Galamoth more bolts of
purple lightning struck down from the ceiling and shot into the demon, making
him shudder. "Not bad." Galamoth snarled as it came back up on its feet. The
pulses of electricity around his armour did falter a little before it reappeared.
"You're not going to defeat me." Galamoth said and attacked. He jumped, dropped
to the ground and then rolled to get out of the way from the demon's sceptre.
"Might God save me." He softly whispered and then he dashed forward and went
right between its legs. Before it could turn, he again summoned the powers
of the crest of purplestone and threw his axe at it. The axe did dug into
its back and Galamoth roared in pain. He jumped to avoid the oozing black
acid-like blood How in God's name had Richter, that Lecarde-gay and Maria
Renard defeated this gay. As he withdrew down the corridor as Galamoth continued
to fire huge laser-beams at him. Then he remembered it and smiled. The Vampire
Killer hadn't accepted him as its keeper, but the guardians of elements had
given him the power to summon fire. As he channelled the power of the crest
of opals into his blade, memories of Maria Renard's journal drifted through
his mind.
Paragraph from Maria Renard's journal.
Castlevania. The 19th of May, 1793
A.D.
Adrian changed from his bat-transformation and I and Richter spread out around the towering demon. "Thunder storm!" Our supernatural friend spread his arms and bolts of lightning struck down all around it. "God help us!" I cried and Richter lay a comforting hand on my shoulder as he rouse his crucifix into the air. The burst of holy energy shok into the demon and made it shudder. Then it counter-attacked as it continued to fire lightning force at us. "It does not seam like our magic have any effect upon this demon from Hell." He said as he continued to manifest holy energy. I knelt down and did the sign of the cross and made a flock of Dows fly forward. The holy flock made the demon shudder again before it continued to attack us. "Master Belmont, Mistress Renard," He lectured us in his usual cold arrogant and aristocratic tone. "to defeat this demon have a magical aura of lightning. We would have to destroy it before we might defeat it. Master Belmont, if I might suggest, your fire-empowered might aid us in this respect." My brother-in-law did smile and the Vampire Killer became enflamed with holy fire. "Creatures of light!" I summoned. "In the name of God, come to the aid of the Belmont and Belnades clans!" The dragon of fire burst from a cross-shaped emblem and breathed flames at the creature. "Thank you Lord." I thanked as Adrian again summoned his arcane powers.
End of paragraph.
The fire blasted from his blade and shut into the torso of the demon. "Take that your rotting bastard!" HE shouted as the puls of electricity faltered and as it reappeared it shined with an ever weaker glow than ever before. "Do you think you can defeat me?!" Galamoth roared. "I served Dracula long before you where born! I did nearly kill some of the most powerful of your ancestors. I shall destroy you!" Huge spheres of lightning force shot from its sceptre and the orbs themselves started blasting down heavy beams of lightning. He knew that if any of those bolts have hit him, he would surely die. And even dough he was merely whipped by some of the smaller static treads at him. He did summon more power from the crest of purplestone and threw his axe and did a sign of the cross. He'd remembered what result Richter Belmont had gotten, but the result did really amaze him. The axe split into four and lightning struck down all around where they struck and made static explosions erupt all around themselves. This time the magics who Galamoth used to deflect other magic became destroyed. "Not bad." Galamoth snarled. "Not bad at all. Now it's my turn, taste the full power of my magic!" As the axe returned to his grasp, Galamoth dashed at him and static javelins shot from the demon's clawed hands and feet. Even dough he managed to jump and dive out of reach, one hit him in the legs and sent him tumbling to his feet. He didn't know if his leg was broken or not, he got to his feet and noticed that blood was oozing out from underneath his trousers. "Guardian of the crest of opals, in the name of God, please help me!" He rouse his crucifix and rouse his sword into the air. Waves of blazing cross-shaped orange fire bursted forward and as they hammered into Galamoth, the towering demon staggered backwards step by step. "You're a true Belmont worier." Galamoth moaned as he lifted his sceptre and even more heavy beams became shot at him. He snarled as he strived manifested more power and fired it outward raw burst of orange fire from his crucifix but he had little left to give. "Do not surrender." A calm voice whispered into his ear as a warm firm hand landed upon his shoulder. He turned around and through a daze of pain he thought he saw a strawberry-blonde fourteen-year-old girl dressed in a green robe embroidered with forest-flowers.. Arround her neck there hung a tear-shaped crest of emeralds, shining green and blazing with power. "Chaos is leaking into this world." She said. "The barriers is failing and even dough it makes us able to wander through the plains of this existence." She continued as energy of the same green colours of her robe shot from the crucifix "This is meant as a fear-well. Summon our powers when you need it. My the One be with you." He felt how the burns and brushes became healed and as the guardian spirit of earth vanished. "You have powerful allies." Galamoth calmly said before he started channelling more lightning into his sceptre. "But that alone want help you." He again rouse his blade in a defensive stance. "God will help me." He said. "As will the Saints, arch-angels and guardian spirits of the elements. I'll defeat you as Richter Belmont did all those years ago. I'm a Belmont too although my name is Kishine. God is with me, as he is with all those who have faith in him. I do and I shall defeat you." As he spoke he swung his family's sword, cutting through the lightning orbs the demon sent at him. Then he gathered the energy of all the three crests and jumped. The demon was more than 18 metre tall but in some strange way it didn't mattered. With orange, green and purple light shining around his blade, he swung the sword right at the sceptre of the demon. The jewel became shattered in thousand shining pieces and so did the rest of the sceptre. Galamoth snarled and knocked him square across the room. To his surprise, he didn't became hurt by the fall. E rouse his head and then dropped himself to the floor and rolled to avoid the static javelins shot by the demon. He rouse to his feet. This wasn't good. Even dough he'd gotten aid by the guardian spirits of elements the demon was getting the upper hand. He rouse his crucifix into the air and prayed in his hearth. "Please God, give me strength." As the demon blasted yet another javelin and the silvery image of his faith repelled the javelin and sent it right back into the face of Galamoth. The demon staggered backward and hammered into the wall which cawed in and a secret circle-shaped room appeared. HE didn't care, now he understood how he could defeat this creature. "Now I have you Galamoth." He said as Galamoth again fired one of his claw-shaped javelin he rouse his crucifix and caught the energy, making it more power erupt into the load. "Now, it's over." He shot it forward and even dough Galamoth tried to counter it with more javelins, it was not enough this time. The blast tore into its body and flames erupted through his flesh. "Do you think this will help you?" Galamoth said as he fell to his feet. "The central control-computer is itself is a living entity. Your friends are doomed." He didn't care, he had a thought where to look for the computer. He'd seen what the droids could do. He kicked the corpse's arm aside went inside the secret chamber.

The hologram who did appare before him, was that of an elderly looking vampire
with only one eye and dressed in the typical Nazi-uniform. "My name is Reinholdt
Lenz, my lord." He felt how a shudder went through him. Was this truly a vampire,
or was he merely a possessed body of the black wanderer? They had used the
same name and… "I must report that Ninia Sukawa, one of your new aids have
fallen." He nodded, not feeling the least sorry for her. Not that he really
felt sorry for anybody as long they served his powers. Again he shuddered
by the thought of this being yet another plot. "I do might report that I and
your droids have captured your enemies." He couldn't hinder a smile in going
across his face. "Good, then bring them before me at once." The vampire nodded.
"As you command my lord."

The room was simple, circle-shaped and a total misfit inside this tower. It
was crafted out of metal for one thing and the huge main view-screen lained
all the walls. Control-chairs and computer-displays was, beside the screens,
the only sources of light inside the chamber. Or, he corrected himself, there
where one other source of light. In the middle of the room, steps leading
up to the elevated spot, there flouted a crystal. HE shook his head. Which
of all these computers where the central control-computer? "Who are you?"
The voice rung in his head and he cast a quick look around. There where no-one
there. "I'm John Kishine." He said as he slowly took some stepts back. "Object
of notice." He turned around and saw a piece of art, a painting, showing up
on the computer-screens, bought the small and big ones. He gasped as he noticed
that it was his forefather Maxim Kishine in there. "Object indentified: John
Kishine." This time it was a plain holo-cam image of himself that appeared
upon the screens. "Danger calculations: 100%. Defensive action: Attack-pattern
Gamma. Deffense strategy are now activated." The computers slid backwards
and steel-doors went down to protect them. The door became shut behind him
and turrets and cannons appeared out from the floor and walls. He drew out
his sword and softly grasped his crucifix. "Your move computer." He said as
he brought himself into a defensive move. The crystal shone up with more energy.

The droids lined up and they where let loose. Or at least, they where able
to see who had captured them. The two vampires standing before them where
sitting in the seats at the end of the huge hall. The curtains, carpets, stain-glass
windows, high pillars and beautiful furniture as present as ever. To be true,
there was only the male elderly-looking vampire dressed in a black, brown
and grey German Nazi-uniform who was seated. Yukuri, the only surviving, if
he could call her alive, of the two who had arrived together with the droids.
"I salute you young Lecarde." The male one said. "And of course you my ladies.
My name is Reinholdt Lenz, captain in his highness lord Dracula's army of
the new order." "Sir," Yukuri softly said. "remember your lord's command."
Lenz stroke her across the body, he whisped to turn away. But the droids holding
him denied him of that. "I do remember." Lenz said as he rouse from his seet.
He lifted her and brought her over to a sofa near-by. "But before that, I
want some amusement from you." The Jaøanese vampire nodded and gave herself
to him. He saw how Anna became red in her cheeks and how Ruth forced herself
to watch on without moving her gaze. It surprised him that Anna didn't like
watching on. HE shook his head, he was only trying to avoid the real problem.
His own philosophy of life was that all humans who felt attracted by each-other
could have love with each-others too. That was of course if they bought wanted
it that was. That was why he'd bean together with bought Sara and Anna, and
with a prostitute girl, while they all liked him. He'd never had noticed that
a woman could love bought another woman and a man, or the other way through.
Then it clicked. How could he have acted this way about Anna just because
she felt the same way as he did? It was time to set an end to this madness
here and now.

He swung his sword and cut through the wave of laser-fire coming at him. "Alarm!
Alarm! Danger calycle: 45%." He didn't care the babbling of the computer as
he rolled under a wave of fire-balls and cut the cannon into pieces and then
destroyed the tiny spider-like droids coming to repear the thing. "Damage
calcyl: 100%. System damage: 30%." "Tell me about it." He grunted as he looked
around. So far he'd destroyed three of the cannons, but there where still
many of them left and he didn't know how to open the steel-doors to tap into
the computer to deactivate the droids. "Attack calycle: grenade defence activated."
"Not good." He mumbled as he saw how the guns was drawn back into their lockets
and other more tiny turrets became opened. As he jumped to avoid the trio
of grenade was shot at him from one of the turrets. The grenades flew past
him and blasted a hole in one of the metal-plates covering the computers.
"Stupid machine." He smiled as he jumped through the hole and cut right into
the screen and droped himself to the ground. "Danger, danger! Left-control
shutting down. Left control-system are closing down." "Christ shut you down
to Hell." He said as he rouse his crucifix to block off some grenades the
computer sent at him. But since the computer still was shoting at him, the
main control-computer still must be active. He hoped he'd done some damage
to the damed machine. He gattered energy around his blade and dug into one
of the other walls. But to his dismay, it was merely the exit out of the room.
He turned just in time to fend of some more grenades. Now the other cannons
appeared and started blasting at him. "Might God held His hand over me." HE
said as he again started to summon magic.

To her uttermost surprise, the droids started to shudder and let go of her.
She grasped her rod from one of the shadow-droids, or at least she hoped so,
and ran toward her other friends. "Over here!" Thomas to her surprise called
to her and he and Ruth came running at her. Just as they came over to each-others
when the droids managed to retain their ground and the blaster-droids and
shadow-droids turned at them with their weapons raised. "May we wander with
God like Josiah and Jeremiah did!" Ruth called as she swung her axe and destroyed
the weak-built shadow-droids. "St. Simon and Johannes the Baptish pray our
cause before the Lord!" Thomas said just as he trusted his lance at some of
the other droids. She gathered magical powers into her other free hand and
trust herself at the other droids. "Their hands!" Ruth shouted. "Their left
hands! Look, they don't move correctly!" She watched and she was right. Even
dough they couldn't move, they still used their wrist-blasters if not very
accurate. But they still represented a threat. She channelled as much power
as she could and created a shield to deflect them against the laser-fire.

"The right-most control-computer is shutting down." The computer-voice sounded.
"The right-most control-computer is shutting down. Back-up force is activated.
Back-up force is activated. Damage calycle: 75%." That was the right-most
computer, which left only one to destroy. The cannons and grenade-throwers,
those who where still active was now becoming more rigid in their attacks.
How in God's name was he to defeat this thing? The two computers he'd destroyed
so far didn't seem like they where mere back-up computers or aid-machines.
Smoke and steam drifted through the room and destroyed machinery and broken
pieces of droids. The worst was really the boiling steam and splints of explosives.
He did cut through the last part of the metal-door blocking the way to the
last main-computer. Sparks, steam and static force spread around as the last
pieces of the security system blasted him with short bursts of energy. He
lifted his crucifix and said a prayer as he did what he could to repel the
laser-fire as he cut through to the controls. "Crise-defence system activated."
The computer-voice spoke as a shield of energy, created by a pattern of more
crystals. HE rouse his sword into the air and sent out a burst of energy flew
from the blade, but the shield did deflect his load. If he'd only had have
some of those grenades he'd had with him from the Vatican… Then a thought
came to his mind. He did a sign of the cross and let his fate into the hands
of God and brought out the gold-daggers. "Give me strength." He softly whispered
before he threw them. The crystals, the computer and the wall behind them
exploded and threw him right into the wall.

The droids stood like statues, stiffened right where they stood, but they
did continue to blast them with their lasers. Lenz, who'd taken on his uniform
again, was standing behind the row of droids. Yukuri was reduced to ashes,
but the elderly vampire was still as courteous as ever. "Young friends, my
troops may have bean immobilized, but they might yet be of some use to me."
"Why not let us go?" Thomas asked the old captain. "I am afraid I cannot do
that. My lord Wold have commanded that you should be brought to him. I did
not think I needed to rush, but now it seems like have no other opportunity."
He was mad, she was sure of it. Then the vampire closed his eyes and waved
his hands at the droids. "As long as they are still active I might control
them through shear will-power. Watch and you shall see my power!" The droids
started marching and they hadn't taken many steps before they rouse their
weapons and started attacking them. "This is starting to turn out as quite
the star wars." Anna growled beside her as she started generating a shield
to deflect the lasers shot at them. They resumed battle as best they could.
She sent a quick thought to John who was battling that demon Galamoth. Then
the clacking of more metal-legs caught her attention. When she noticed who
it was, she couldn't help herself from screaming.

"Prepare to execute determination-program step one. Determination-program
is now activated." He opened his eyes. How the heck was the computer still
active? The crystal did shine and then a heavy burst of energy was shot at
him. He cursed as he rolled to the side. He'd done a fatal mistake to not
take the centre-crystal in his attack. No, he corrected himself, this crystal
wasn't just a part of the computer, it was the computer itself. As he got
to his feet, he had to continue to jump as the computer shot more energy at
him. He smiled as he noticed the gold-daggers where back at their holsters,
not that it served him any good right now. "Defence-shield is now activated.
Defence-system step 3 is now activated. Step 3 is now activated." Tiny crystals
rouse from the platform as did small lasers and blasters. "May God help me."
He said as he did the sign of the cross. Then he drew out his throwing-axe
and his sword. He dashed at the nearest crystals and dug the axe into them
and then gathered energy around the blade and blasted it at the cannons. Then
he jumped to his feet and ran to get out of the way from the other cannons.
He should never had underestimated that cursed crystal.

It was a real surprise and he didn't liked surprises. "How is this possible?
After the reports I received I understood you where destroyed." The hologram
displayed the upper-torso of droid-commander Sliff. ""The auto-repair system
was able to sustain me and teleport me back to the underground laboratory.
Even dough it was mostly destroyed, the droid-factory was still mostly intact.
I was able to resume control of one of my other body. I have made contact
with your enemies in the meeting-chamber of the vampires. I am confidant I
will be able to defeat them." He grimly nodded. "I do not leave any more to
chance. I will gather what troops I find and join you there." "As you command
my lord, but with all due respect, I might have destroyed them already before
you arrive." The hologram disappeared. HE rouse from his throne and then left
the room. What he'd said to the droid-commander was the truth. The Belmont
and his helpers had bean a danger all to long.

The crystals where destroyed and so where the cannons, or at least the most
of them where so. But the crystal was still very much active and was blasting
him with energy. He did the sign of the cross and then jumped across the steaming
machinery and dug his sword into the crystal. The computer-voice screamed
as shards of crystals flew all over the room. He drew out the sword and jumped
back down the steps and ran as the crystal started blasting more rapidly.
The computer should've thrown off the entire defence-system to begin with
then he would most likely bean dead by now. He summoned the power of the crest
of emeralds around the axe and threw it at the crystal's carrying the crystal.
The axe split into shining pieces and so did the iron-frame. The ancient weapon
returned to him and the crystal hammered into the metal-floor. He dropped
to the floor as more shards became spread all over. But the crystal itself
was still mostly intact. With a grim look on his face, he drew his gold-daggers
once more and then turned and ran. The daggers returned and the crystal exploded.
"Danger! Danger! Main control-computer is shutting down. Main control-computer
is shutting down. Self destruct system is acticated. All personal abundant
computer-central. Repeat…" The shock-waves hitt him in the back and sent him
flying down the corridor. Two shadow-droids came running at him, then just
tripped over and then just lay there. He smiled without humour as he got to
his feet. Now he could only hope his friends where still alive. He started
running down the hall.

The two pirate-ghosts lead the vampire to him he wasn't planning on being
that very much merciful. "Why did you leave your troops behind Lenz?" The
elderly vampire cast a worried look around. The bone-soldiers, pirate-ghosts
and were-foxes gave him mere stone-gazes. "I did not have any choise my lord.
The droids failed me and they killed Yukuri before I could aid her. The two
bone-soldiers with me." "I'm afraid I must correct you." He turned around
and noticed Yukuri was coming marching at them with more bone-soldiers, pirate-ghosts
and more were-foxes around her. "HE," She pointed at Lenz. "wanted me to bed
and I have no other choice than complaying since he is my commander. The prisoners
found strength to manefacture one desperate attack." HE nodded. "Yukuri, you
and this… You and soldier Lenz is with you to the SS beast-riders. Then you
are all to come here so that the office who sent him to me might see for themselves
that I will give him a fair trial. Take with you the were-fozes you and I
have here." A dry humourless smile went over his face. "They are the ones
the dark lord trust the most." Yukuri nodded, bowed and started giving orders
to the were-foxes around them. He didn't paid any attention. "Come with me."
He commanded the bone-soldiers and pirate-ghosts present to follow him. Without
coming with any telekinetic remarks, they joined him.

He cut through the stain-glass ghosts before him, before he dropped himself
to the floor to avoid the flames from the top-most of the bone-pillar and
then rolled as the lower-most one breathed a new load of heavy flames. He
got to his feet and threw some of the "normal" throwing-daggers at the pillar
of bones and it exploded into fire. Just as the daggers returned to him, a
swarm of bats came flying at him. He threw his axe and the crowd burst into
nothingness. This was worrying him. Beside of the stain-glass ghosts, pillars
of bones, bats and bone dragons there where no other soldiers inside the halls,
at least not as far as he have seen. It made him feel that something devious
was in the making. Then he heard the clacking of metal feet on the floor behind
the curtains at the far end of the wall. He hoped that whatever it was hadn't
noticed him as he was cleaning the hall of the few troops who where left there.
As silent as he could he went over to the curtains and slowly opened them
and carefully peeked inside and gasped. Nearly filling the hall from top to
bottom with a huge metal warg, sitting upon its back feet, with the torso
of a strange helmed droid at the forehead and with its front-paws before it,
blasting out bursts of electricity at the trio before it, a trio he was sure
he knew. "Thomas!" He shouted. "And Anna and Ruth!" They turned at him then
quickly turned their attention back to the giant droid. He ran to join them.
"Stop, holt! Pesky Belmont, drop your weapons!" He turned around to see an
elderly vampire dressed in A black, brown and grey Nazi-uniform. "Vampire!"
He shouted and swung his blade at the vampire's swiftly-shot swarm of bats.
"Lenz!" Another, Japanese, vampire, dressed in their kind's simple black hood
and cloak, came running down the hall. "Now you cannot run anymore!" To his
utter surprise the newly arrived vampire spread her cloak, showing him a fot-long
crimson and blue traditional Japanese dress, and fired three balls of blue
bat-inhabited spheres of flames. The other vampire elevated into the air and
his right arm pointed outward, like to open a cloak, and his right one stretched
outward with the palm pointed outward, and another wave of bats flew right
at the Japanese's fireballs. A humourless smile crept over his face, then
he dashed at Lenz, it that was truly what his name was. The vampire weeled
around and spread his hands with bought hands palms pointed outward and two
balls of chilling steam became shot at him. He threw two of his "ordinary"
daggers at the steam-blasts and then threw his axe. The axe pierced the skull
of the vampire, who merely grinned and shot forth more steam-blasts. He nodded
and prepared na attempt on the creature's black hearth. "Not bad." The Japanese
vampire smiled as she once again spread her cloak and unleashed three homing
balls of flames. Lenz became shot in the back and was then thrown foreward,
onto his face. He jumped forward and drew loose his axe and then used it not
only to completely behead the undead, but also destroy the hearth. He withdrew
just in time to avoid getting hit by a bolt of lightning shot by the Japanese
vampire. Lenz's corpse burst into flames and vanished into nothingness. "You
are a powerful vampire hunter." She calmly commented. "Just come closer and
I'll show you how good I really am." He said just as calmly as he put back
the axe and daggers and again brought out his sword. "Not today Belmont."
She returned and then vanished herself, in a cloud of swarming bats. He shrugged
before he turned to go help his friends with the giant droid. He thought a
moment about the possibility about that the vampire might gatter more troops
to come and defeat them with. Then he drew the curtains aside. He would have
to think further about that later. Another smile appared on his face. He would
have to think more about that later, if he ever got the chanse to do so that
was.

He was wandering down the hall with the bone-soldiers and pirate-ghost he
had with him. Then a swarm of bats came flying in before him and formed into
Yukuri. "My lord," She greated. "I must report that Lenz did escape from me,
but that I, together with the unknowing aid of one of the Belmonts, did have
to destroy him." He did take a step forward and grabbed her at her throat.
"What about the Belmont?" He snarled. "What did you do to him? Do not tell
me that you let him go!" The vampire struggled to breathe as she told him
that he was to powerful for one vampire alone to take on. "Then where is the
were-foxes I sent with you?" He said as he was tightening his grip on her
throat. "My lord, I, I sent them to gather the beast riders as you commanded.
I only did as you…" She was ended in the middle of her sentence as the sound
of cracking bones sounded from her throat and she became limp in his grip.
"A death without meaning." He mercilessly commented as he threw her corpse
aside. "The SS will soon be here. You there, bone-commander," He said to a
bone-soldier dressed in a simple black weapon-robe, neck, shoulder, wrist
and breast-plate, with a spiky belt shaped like iron-cable and with bare legs
and arms, with a whip at its side. "you are to go and meet Bronze and whoever
troops she might have with her." The bone-commander bowed and left the room
with nearly half his group of bone-soldiers. "You there," He pointed at one
of the pirate-ghosts with a raiper at its side and a three-pointed hat upon
its skull-looking head. "you will take care of the corpse and see to that
it becomes resurrected. When so is done, you are to give her to Bronze as
one of her play-things." "Yes my lord." The undead pirate said as he and the
few other pirate-ghosts drifted down the hall with Yukuri's corpse between
themselves. He gave a short look around him and grunted as he noticed that
he noticed that he now merely had 17 bone-soldiers and 9 pirate-ghosts left
to aid him. But no matter, he could take care of these blasted Belmonts himself
if need be. "Carry on." He snapped at the soldiers as he started jogging down
the corridor.

"We've tried to attack it in every way we could possibly think of." He told
John. "But it don't seam like it's damaged in any way. Ruth did strike its
forehead with one load of fire and it did stagger somewhat. But now since
she became knocked cold Neither I nor Anna have bean able to strike it that
high." The Belmont grimly nodded before he turned to Anna. "There's a small
alcove in there." He pointed at where the elderly vampire called Lenz had
bean seated when he and the girls first where brought here by the droids.
"Go there and hide yourself until we call for you. If we don't, use the white
crystal inside my backpack," He handed her the object. "and speak a prayer
over it. It'll teleport you back to the Vatican where you and Ruth might be
safe. Edward, Christian and Torah will have to finish this without me." The
Trantoil descendant gave him a look before she lifted Ruth up on her shoulders
and ran off as fast she could. The giant wolf-droid spat some spheres after
her but she managed to generate a shield around herself and so got away from
it. "Thomas." The Belmont grimly said as he spat in his hands and let his
sword test the air around him. "We must do this alone. When the droid tries
to claw at us, we must use its paws as platforms to reach its head and attach
it from there." HE gave his friend a nearly shocked look. "You're crazy! Even
if we where to go up by it's paws it would blast us with the mouth-cannon!"
John merely smiled, a smile rid of any type of humour. "We have to do this
or die. We're, Or rather I'm a, Belmonts. This's what we do." Then without
more smalltalks rand at the giant droid. It clawed at him just as he'd predicted
and ran out of the way. Just as the droid lifted its paw to try again, the
Belmont jumped untop of it and the droid spread its claws and shot two bolts
of electricity, one right downward and the other right upward. But by how
John had positioned himself on the tip of its claws it looked like he'd predicted
even that and merely went through with his attack. With his sword blazing
with orange fire he threw himself at the head of the droid and blasted the
droid with one solid wave of energy. The droid cried, there where no other
way of putting it and John landed upon the floor and got to his feet without
a scratch on his body. "Watch out!" He called as the droid regained its balance
and breated a heavy wave of fire from its mouth. He grabbed John's arm and
drew him aside just in time. "See." The Belmont silently added. "We can do
it. The self-repair system cant repel us forever and when it goes, the whole
droid goes." He nodded and then let go of his lance and instead picked up
one of the blasters laying on the floor, most likely dropped there by one
of the smaller droids. "I cant gather energy around my weapons like you and
Ruth does." He commented as he checked the charges. "But I hope this blaster
might do the job." His friend grasped his arm. "May God be with us." He said
before he let go. "I'm sure he will." He smiled. "So far He haven't given
any sign He isn't going to leave us." John nodded. "For Christ then Thomas?"
He nodded. "For Christ, John." His friend smiled at him. "My cousin Alicia
used to say that before she did new things when we where children." Then he
grew serious as the droid now was starting a new round by blasting electrical
spheres at them. Together they ran at the droid, rolling underneath the waves
of orbs shot by them. The droid dropped the blasting an instead used its paws
to claw at them. John jumped to the side and ran to attack its belly, while
he jumped upon its left paw. But he wasn't quite stable and had to jump down
when the droid started blasting out bolts of electricity. "Watch out!" He
called as John ran right at him and pushed him out of the way when the claw
came right at them. The Belmont merely calmly jump upon its paw and continued
to throw his axe, shining with more orange fire, right into the forehead of
the droid. The giant machine staggered, then blasted a wave of solid electricity
at the young Belmont. He nearly gaped as he saw how John once again jumped
and let himself drop to the floor and then dash out of the way for yet another
wave of fire shot at him. But the damed thing hadn't forgotten him either
and this time it clawed at him, just as it continued to blast fire at John.
But this time, he was able to position himself better. Even dough the droid
bought shot electricity at him from its paw and mouth, he managed to step
aside and then blast a wave of energy from his new hand-blaster. The droid
screamed and he paryed to God as he fell down. To his surprise, he wasn't
damaged when he reached the floor. "God really is with us." John said as he
came over and helped him stand. He turned his head and smiled as he saw smoke
and oil drift and leak from the giant droid. "The self-repair system is over-heating,
I think." John said as a reflection of his thoughts. Then the droid roared
and again started blasting them with fire. "Run!" John shouted. "It's not
over yet." "Tell me about it." He dryly commented as he ran to avoid the havy
fire. The droid had perhaps little left to give, but so had he and John. He
dried the sweat from his brow and then dropped himself and rolled to get out
of the way of electric spheres the machine spat at them. John managed to jump
upon one of its paws, but this time it was he who slipped and fell back down
upon the floor. The cracking of bones was the only warning he got. From behind
the droid, a small group of bone-soldiers came running. "We don't manage this
alone!" John shouted as he swung his blade at one bone-solderi. The undead
creature burst into nothingness, but he was nearly hit by the fire from the
droid. "Anna!" He shouted, not carring what John have said. "By The name of
God, come and help us!" A group of pirate-ghosts, or so he thought he remember
Salmissra had called them came drifting right through the massive droid. "May
he be with us." John prayed beside him.
Burkly mansion, Warakiya. The 15th

The room was beautiful. With lawishly polished Rococo-tables and pine-chairs
and with huge French windows with the same curtains and carpets as in the
hall outside. One huge fire-place, crafted out of white marble, with those
paintings with the mixture of light and dark mood, that strange emotions from
of that very same age. There where also arm-chairs from the Victorian era
and a claviature from the same period. But what did caught her attention the
most, was the simple white shields hanging on the wall, with a golden fist
with a crystal-flower in its grasp. "The crest of the house of Burkly." Ruth,
who'd finally got back to her senses told her. "Even dough the white countess
killed him, or so the legend tells, this is still the tower of Burkly. The
mad bishop was a good man who did one mistake. I hope God in His great mercy
found it in Him to forgive him of that sin." "That was kind word." She wheeled
around with energy blazing in her hands, but merely saw a sad old man, dressed
in a simple white cloak. He was deathly pale, and skinny into clean starvation.
"Your eminence." Ruth said and bowed before him. "Jesus was a great prophet.
I respect your faith in him as a mesanger of your, of our, God." She wasn't
sure, but she could've swore that a weak smile went across the old ghost's
face. "May you forgive me, my church and their men and woman who condemned
your people." She felt how her mouth fell open as she saw how tairs rolled
down his ancient face. "I am so sorry for everything." He started to vanish,
then Ruth ran over to the old ghost. "Don't be." The blonde Van Helsing descendant
said. "You where a human that time. Now you have stepped beyond the world.
Let God take you into His Heaven. You aren't to blame, she is. She lured you
into her intrigues and when she couldn't use you anymore, she killed you.
You did what you have to do. She is holding you here so she can torture your
soul like she did all those years ago." "Don't listen to her." Another chillingly
soft voice sounded. Right through the wall, a beautiful young woman came flying.
"She is merely trying to fool you. God will send you down to Hell to suffer.
Remember what He said through his prophet Johannes. "But outside the walls
the murderers shall be. Warlocks, witches, suicides and those who break their
marriage as well." So do not trust Him or those He send to speak His cause."
"Be gone in the name of Christ! How do you, a whore of Satan, dare to speak
about Him?!" She snarled as she brought out her crucifix. She felt to ashamed
to speak to the old ghost in his sorrow, but hearing this… She didn't know
what to call her, speaking about Him in this way? "God knows all which happens
in this world and in all other worlds. All which hinder us from receiving
His mercy, is our own arrogance and misplaced faith in our own free will.
I'm not perfect, I know, but you have forever locked yourself off from His
blessings." Then she merely dashed at the foul ghost and pressed the crucifix
against her spectre-forehead. "No!" The ghost screamed. "You cannot do this!
I have sacrificed too much to be banished from this plane now!" She didn't
care, maybe she should have, but she didn't and the ghost vanished into nothingness.
"She's gone." The old bishop whispered, again she saw tears roll down his
face. "And I am free. With what power I have less, I pray you might find someone
who might love and bless you as you could with me. God be with you my daughters.
Give this to Thomas if he will have this. I pray you all will understand what
you do now." From behind and around him, three celestial creatures appeared.
"Light, life and darkness." She said with shock in her voice. How she knew
who they where, she didn't know. The one standing at the top of the triangle,
was a 12-year-old girl, with shoulder-length light-brown hair and chockolate-brown
eyes, completely shrouded in simple white cloth. The one to the left, was
an equally young boy with shoulder-length light-brown hair, sad grey eyes
dressed in simple white cloth, like the girls skirts. The one to the right,
stroke her with a solemn dread. She was nearly if not even more skinny than
the old ghost, with black dirty hair and deatly pale skin. A black scarf in
front of her eyes and with scars all over her face. She was, unlike the two
other, sitting upon the floor, most likely because she only had one leg left,
and only one hand left too. The hand she still had left lifted and did a sign
on the language of signs and she understood she couldn't speak either and
that she most likely where blind. She knew she should hate her or something,
but the only feeling which came to her was pitty and compassion. "May the
One be with you. Now and forever." She didn't know if the last words was said
orraly or spiritually, but for once she knew that it didn't really mattered
it it was this or that. "Thank you Lord." She said and so did Ruth as they
bought knelt down before the orb the celestial ones had left behind. "What's
that?" She suddenly said. Ruth jumped to her feet and grasped the orb and
John's backpack as they ran out from the room.
Burkly mansion, Warakiya. The 15th

Anna and Ruth came just in time as Thomas was laying on the floor, bleeding
from several wounds in his body inflicted by the bone-soldiers and pirate-ghosts.
They've destroyed most of the undead morons but the droid was still somewhat
intact. The self-repair system had failed but they hadn't destroyed it just
yet. "See if you might aid Thomas." He told the girls as he brought on the
backpack the Danasti clanswoman handed him. "Take out what's left of the dead
and let me take out the droid." They gave him worried and disagreeing looks,
but then let him go. He ran at the droid who gave up trying to stop the leeking
steam and oil and instead concentrated in manufacturing a last attack. It
blasted fire and electric spheres at him as fast as it could and was smart
enough to not claw at him again. Then how in the worl was he to paly this
through? Then he grinned his teeth and ran directly at the droid. He knew
it would most likely kill him, but he know that might be the outcome as he
first went along on this mission. If he only knew what was becoming of Christian,
but he didn't have time to think about that now. He gathered all the power
he could, from bought the crests of opals, emeralds and purplestone and then
jumped. "No!" The head seated at the droid's forehead shouted as he jumped
right at it and trustedhis blade into the chest of the droid. Then, just as
he fell back down, he swung the blade one again and chopped of its head. The
droid breathed one final sphere of electricity who hit him square into his
body and threw him right into the floor. The last thing he heard before the
darkness took him, was the cracking sound of his own ribs and, most likely,
other bones.
Burkly mansion, Warakiya. The 15th

"John!" He ran over to where his friend lay on the ground, not caring about
the still exploding droid, laying further along the corridor. "That orb the
celestial ones gave you." Ruth said and he looked at her. That strange object
have given him the power to gather power around his weapon, but just now he
plain don't understood what she meant. "One of the powers in the orb is the
power of life. If you give up that element, traiding it with one of his, you
might be able to heal him." HE slowly nodded and put his hand upon his friend's
forehead. HE honestly didn't know what he did, but he put it all in the hands
of God. "If what's possible, then let it be." He whispered. "None of us is
strong enough to wield darkness and none of us deserve to have the power of
light, and at least not me. If I could make one wish come true, then let me
give these elements off so that he might be healed and so that I might receive
the same blessing as he got." Not had the words left his lips, light shrouded
him. First was it like pieces of his very soul was tore from him. Then it
felt like flames burned all around him. Then he felt it like earth filled
him and then lightning struck down in him. "Let it be." A voice, greater than
anything he'd ever heard before, spoke in his mind. Then he could see again.
"Thank you Thomas." John looked up at him, healed it seemed and like he understood
all which had transpired. "I heard what you asked of, and I felt all you felt.
You're a true friend." He smiled back and grasped his hand and helped him
stand. "Gays?" Ruth said. "Not to spoil the moment, but look." He wheeled
around with his spear at the ready and John was right at his side. Anna came
up between them and they all joined in looking upon him they know was the
enemy they'd faced so long to face. "Wold." John said and the towering red-haired
vampire before them nodded. "I am quite impressed by you all. You have fought
like true Belmont descendants. You have defeated all my aids and commanders.
But now it is all over. You are to face me, the lord and master of this tower.
I am lord Wold, boyar of this domain." John shrugged. "A vampire is a vampire,
that what I mean. Whatever power you might possess, we'll do battle against
you." He looked at him and nodded. The girls merely nodded and rouse their
weapons. The dark boyar laughed at them, then rouse his own hand. Then a heavy
laser, made of bats, blasted at them. "In the name of St. Simon and Johannes
the Baptist, let the will of God's will be." He drew out his sword and together
he, John and Anna did the sign of the cross. Ruth merely smiled at them and
rouse her star of David. Then they together they gathered their energy and
blasted it outward right at Wold's load. As John had said it, let the Will
of God be. This would be the final battle in Barkly mansion, or as he called
it, the tower of winds. Again he did the sign of the cross.
Burkly mansion, Warakiya. The 15th
of December 2098 A.D.
The vampire folded his arms and then righted his palms outward and a pitch-black
bat appeared and then three rays of bats became blasted outward. He swung
his blade and a wave of green energyflew from his family's old sword and destroyed
the bats as they flew at him. But Anna and Thomas wasn't that lucky. They
tried to block to blast, but was knocked right into the wall and fell cold
down upon the floor. Ruth swung her axe and created the same effect as he
with his blade. "Ah." Lord Wold said. "A Kishine of the famous Belmont clan.
And a Jewish vampire hunting girl of the legendary house of the Van Helsing
clan. It you think you might defeat me, then try, now." He nodded and then
did the sign of the cross. "In the name of Christ, our lord, let it be." He
put back his sword and then brought forth the envelope containing his pieces
of the holy Host, the body of Christ. "It is Christ!" Wold cried with bought
hatred, disdain and fear in his voice. "It is Christ!" "Not bad." Ruth said,
smiling as she stroke her star of David. "Don't underestimate him. He is the
lord of this domain and he might do us great pain if he can." As to ad weight
to his statement, Wold made a gust of wind blew at him, knocking the envelope
from his hand. "Now we does it the way I like it." Wold snarled. "Perhaps."
Ruth said as she trusted herself forward and stamped the holy emblem upon
the goat-head-shaped breast-plate. He screamed and knocked his fist right
back at her and made her drop the star. "Die Jewish wench!" This time it was
no playing around, a multi-way charge of sickly-yellow energy was trust at
her. "Christ!" HE called as he threw himself at her and drew her to the floor.
"Help us, we're in great peril!" He rouse his blade right in front of himself
and the blade seamed to swallow the energy and then trusted it right back
at the vampire. But now it had changed colour, from yellow to purple. "Lightning."
He breathed as he smiled in gratitude. "Thanks Lord." "You think you are so
clever!" Wold hissed as he struggled to heal himself through the strange supernatural
way only the vampires could. "But however powerful you are, you are to die!"
The last word was snarled out as a cry and as it left his lips, whip-like
coils of lightning slashed at him. HE screamed as the surged through his body,
but managed to get back on his feet and drew out his sword and gold-daggers.
This was the time to really trust these powerful relics and see if they kept
what they promised. Ruth was also back upon her feet and had refound her star
of David. "Do not place your trust in such meaningless treachery!" Wold snarled
and waved his hand and blew her right back on her back. "Yes." He barked in
return. "In sutch things you should place your faith. Faith is never misplaced,
you can be wrong, but faith is never wrong." The vampire sent him a smile
which made his blood go cold. "You will become a good priest if you ever get
the chance. Now, it is time to die!" Lightning struck down in two parallel
bolts and this time it was Ruth who drew him out of reach. "I owe you one."
HE said with a smile. "I keep a protocol." She said, returning the smile.
Then they jumped to their feet and continued to jump and run, as Wold laughed
and continued to summon down black bolts of lightning. "May God save us!"
He called and threw the gold-daggers, one after another, at the vampire. "Simon
Belmont's gold-daggers!" Wold screamed. "How did you… It is not time for me
to die now!" He blasted out more lightning and the gold-daggers missed his
hearth, but did then dig into his left shoulder and right for-arm and made
blood wash over his golden armour. "My orb of summoning!" Wold snarled. "You
destroyed it!" "Oh, I'm so sorry, send me the bill." He gested as he noticed
something white laying on the floor. "No!" Their enemy shouted. "You shall
not retrive your God!" Ray after ray of bats became shot at him as he ran
to fetch the Host. "Feal the power of Enok's God!" Ruth said as she stamped
her star of David, at his throat this time, cutting off his head. "Get away
from there!" HE shouted. "The hearth is still alive!" As if to correct him,
Wold spread his cloak and unleashed three bat-inhabited steam-blasts. "May
God forgive you!" HE shouted as he threw not only the gold-daggers who'd mysteriously
returned to him, but also all the Host he had left. It all hit the headless
corpse and it blasted into clear red flames and fell burning to the ground.
"What do you think this is?" Ruth asked him as she came over to him with a
strange crystalline looking-glass. "A come-key." He said. "I read about those
things in the Vatican. Ask a question and it might answer you. Answer you
and allways tell you the truth." He looked around, Thomas and Anna was about
to regain their consciousness Then something else caught him. He didn't know
what, but there was something wrong with that picture. His friends getting
to their feet, the destroyd droids laying everywhere and Wold's corpse was
still laying there, burning. "Where's the head?" He suddenly said with stern
seriousness. "Head up!" That was Wold's voice, filled with such hatred and
malice that he started shuddering. "There." Anna merely said, pointing upward.
He looked upward and screamed. Up there, the head of Wold, terribly enlarged
to the size of a giant. With burning-red hair and eyes filled with Hell's
eerie blue flames. "Must God be with us." This time, it was a prayer, no determined
war-cry. He lifted his praying hands at the Heavens and prayed harder than
he'd ever done. "Don't give up." Ruth said. "Don't give up as long we have
these, and this." She handed him the gold-daggers and, to his surprise, the
envelope. "We're here too." Thomas said as he came over to him. Anna nodded
and rouse her rod into a defensive stance. "Fools!" Wold's head cried. "You
shall die!" He opened his mouth and from if flew a giant swarm of bats. "It's
like the third form Dracula brought on when Simon faced him in 1688." He told
them. HE knew he was babbling but didn't care. It was time for iron.

She tightened her grip around her rod. She'd heard what John said but she
was still afraid. How was she, a simple farm-girl, defeat this strong and
powerful hatred against life itself? "Have faith." Thomas said as he, to her
utter surprise, smiled comfortingly at her. "Have faith and we shall see the
wonders of God. Remember what He said to his apostles: "Where only one of
you have faith in me, I shall be among you." We're three who… No, we're four
who believe in Him, so don't despair." As he said so, he, John and Ruth was
already taking out the swarm of bats coming at them. "I understand." She said,
returning the smile. "Try striking him at the blinking dot in his forehead."
John adviced as he blasted away a wave of green energy at another wave of
bats. The head floated at the top of the hall, she was the only one who could
reach him. She summoned the power as Ruth had learned her and then a wave
of fist-sized knots of energy. Wold snarled, that she could see, and breathed
away another wave of bats. But the bats flew to low and even dough he managed
to take out most of her blasts, some of them blasted through his eyes and
some of them did hit the blinking spot. But some of the other orbs did blast
right into the stain-glass windows cracked and made it rain with pieces of
glass. "Wath out!" John shouted as he threw a set of his "usual" daggers at
another swarm of bats. "The glass might be poisoned!" Just them, most likely
just to make things more complicated, another group of bone-soldiers and pirate-ghosts
came storming down the corridor. "Split up!" Thomas commanded. "Take out the
bone-morons. I'll protect Anna." John and Ruth gave them encouraging words
or smiles before they involved themselves in the battle. She grinned her teeth
and blasted away a new wave of energy-orbs.. This time she did manage to score
a better shot. Two of her orbs hammered into the blinking spot and made Wold
scream in pain. "You there!" The giant head shouted. "Kill her!" "Yes my lord."
A bone-soldier dressed as a bone-commander and armed with a nasty-looking
whip dashed at her. "God be with you Anna." Thomas blessed as he did ran to
face the bone adversary. "Now," The head laughed down at her. "it is just
you and me." She surprised him, and herself too actually, by smiling at him.
"Let's fight." She said as she blasted away another wave of orbs. Yet another
swarm of bats countered her attack. "Undead idiot." She mumbled as she rouse
her hands with her palm upward. Two pillars of concrete energy blasted upwards,
right through the lower-jaw "Noooooo!" The scream made her clasp her hands
around her heads in an effort to hinder the piercing sound away. The giant
head became absorbed in clear red flames. "Jump out the cracks in the windows!"
Thomas cried as he dragged her towards the stain-glass window. She gave him
a mystified look. "When the master of the tower is destroyed, the tower will
fall. We must get out of here now!" She nodded and together they dashed at
windows.

She sat upon her VolocciRaptor, inspecting her troops. Beside herself and
the Japanese vampire who had newly arrived, there where only were-foxes around
her. "Bronze," Amber, one of the were-fox leaders, came riding over to her.
"The tower have fallen." She nodded. "They have defeated lord Wold. We are
to set out course towards the ruins." Hammer, another blue-fured were-fox
nodded and starting shouting orders to the soldiers. "Are you shure about
this?" Yukuri asked. "Would it not be best gong to Aliba and gatter more SS-troops?"
She shook her head. "They have avoided us far to long. Wold wanted to take
care of them personally, and he failed. Now it is time to set SS to what it
should really done all along. Gather your troops." She saluted her and rode
at the polar were-foxes she had brought with her. She let her gaze follow
the young girl, it would be times to get better known with her later. But
the Belmonts first.
(A.N: This chapter is really long, but I wanted to finish this this part of the story in two chapters. Next time I'll return to Alicia's, Edward's and Adrian's group and their battle against the two bone dragons and lord Maeglin. Until then, have a nice time.)
