Curse
of Darkness Arsenal ![]()
Equippable Gear
Curse of Darkness' weapon selection is anything but conventional. It's not as if there are a certain number of weapon and armor types that can be collected simply via a process of exploring; rather, Hector will create for himself almost all of his own arsenal thanks to his combining ability, which is discussed in the sub-section following. Listed here is the whole of equippable gear as broken into their four sub-categories: Weapons, Head Items, Armor and Accessories. It's the accessories that are distinct in that they're the only class of equipment whose appearance is based on the more traditional "Found In/Dropped" scenarios.

Weapon Combining
As a former member of Dracula's dark army, Hector has through countless years of training mastered in the creation and knowledge of just about every weapon and armor type in existence. As such, Hector prefers to craft and forge for himself his entire arsenal of goods, and he does this at the basic level by combing materials found all throughout the land or otherwise stolen or dropped by enemies. Hector can then combine crafted weapons with materials and even with other weapons to create a wider, more powerful array of destructive armament, which entails many recurring series items plus some unexpected and very surprising entries. There are seven sub-categories of weapon-combining: Swords, Axes, Spears, Knuckles, Special Weapons, Helmets and Armor.
