You made the Chocobot.

You are beyond epic.

Seriously though, so many of these are relevant to my interests. You have excellent taste.

Everything looks great, but the feathers on the Chocobot are particularly amazing! :]

That DecapAttack figure might be the most glorious thing I've seen in a while. I might have to consider worshiping it.

But I worship something new every week, so... yeah... regardless, spanktastic work. Any chance of a FF XI/XII Mandragora or anything from Contra?

The Ichiban Crush: I made a Final Fantasy VII Mandragora many years ago:

I might make something from Contra one of these days. And more monsters from the Final Fantasy series is pretty much a guarantee, although not necessarily Mandragoras.

I could see your style working to make very awesome Demon Statues from Ninja Gaiden 1 (NES).

As for the FF7 Mandragoras, wow, I haven't played it in so long I forgot what they look like. The 11/12 versions are a new breed; they like a cross between an onion and a black mage. Very simple design, aside from their little leather vest things.

cute little fellers, they be...
(BBCode has failed me)

Those are nice, but I was thinking about, like, the mid-boss of the last stage in Contra 1 (is that Red Falcon? I was told it was, but I was under the impression that the entire stage was the inside of Red Falcon) before you get to the heart.

Funny story those figures reminded me of though. I was going to attach orange balls in three angles to the tip of an old supersoaker to make a halloween costume, and have a speaker connected to an old iPod looping the stage one music while running around downtown.

There were enough geeks to catch the reference.

I've got FFXII, so, yeah, I know what you're talking about with the Mandragoras. While I agree they're cute, that design doesn't particularly appeal to me.

The giant heart is usually what crosses my mind when I think of sculpting something from Contra. Recently, I've been playing Contra: Shattered Soldier and thinking the train stage boss battle (the persistant, transforming robot), would make for a cool diorama piece--that'd take forever to make though, so it'll probably never happen.
